DESCRIPTION:
The NEM Long Distance Lamp Memory System is
designed for communication with remote locations
up to 4000’ away, or to each elevator in a building.
Sub stations are available in surface or flush mount
styles, and require a separate circuit board to be
addedforthecall-infunction. Threewiresarerequired
toeach sub station.Master stations areavailable with
or without a handset.

Power Source: DC 24V. Use PS-2410A for 10, 20-call masters. PS-24E for 30, 40-call masters.

ARCHITECTS/ENGINEERS’ SPECIFICATIONS:
The intercom system shall be of an open voice, selective
calling type, available in 10, 20, 30, or 40 station sizes, with
20 and 40 station add-on selectors for expansion up to 120
stations. An optional VOX handset shall be available on all
masters.
Master station shall have individual selector buttons with
associated LEDs for call-in indication, and a directory for
station labeling. A call-in shall light the LED and activate
the call tone until the call is answered. The call shall be
answered by pressing the station’s selector button, then
pressing the TALK button to transmit, releasing to listen. The
person at the remote speaks hands free. The system shall
provide built-in All Call function, allowing the master to make
generalannouncementstoallconnected stations. Thereshall
be no talkback from an All Call.
Master station shall be equipped with power ON/OFF switch,
transmit and receive volume controls, ALL CALL and TALK
buttons. Station selectors shall be in rows of five, with an
OFF button for each row. ALL CALL button shall initiate a
call to all stations in the system. A power LED shall indicate
incoming power to the master station.
System shall be capable of providing a call-in signal and two-
way voice communication between the master and each sub
station, located up to 4000’ away, or located inside elevators
cabs.
Compatible remote stations shall be available in surface or
flush mount styles. A call-in PC board (model PC-359B) shall
be required for each sub station for call-in signaling.
System shall be manufactured by Aiphone.
