1. INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing Nubis Recovery chair.
Nubis Recovery chair is extremely light and portable, pressure based chair. Chair is created for athletes,
sport’s clubs, sport rehab facilities, ideal for recovery after trainings and competitions. It’s easy to set up,
when not in use it can be easily transported in a carrying bag.
In order to use Nubis Recovery chair correctly and safely, it is important to read these User manual and its
safety instructions carefully before starting to use the product. Should anything be unclear, do not hesitate
to contact us or your dealer.

3. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
3.1. General instructions:
• The product is meant to be set-up by competent personnel.
• Before each usage check the pressure of the chair and inflate it to full.
• Use a clean chair cover for every individual, in order to guarantee a hygienic use.
3.2. Recovery chair handling:
• The area on which the chair is placed must be clean, dry, flat and free of obstacles.
• Do not wear shoes while recovering on the chair, as they may damage the surface.
• Do not bring any sharp items on or close to the chair.
• The maximum weight load of 200 kg should not be exceeded.
• Always set up the chair in the same area, where you will be using it. When changing
the location, do not drag the chair over the surface, but carry it.
• When setting up the chair outdoor, use a groundsheet to avoid damaging the product.
• Never pack, store or transport the Recovery chair, when it is wet or dirty. After cleaning,
to prevent damages, allow material to dry properly before usage or storage.
• Never leave the chair outside unattended and keep the air pressure under the maximum
values, described in this guide.
• Do not expose inflated chair to extreme temperature conditions
(allowed limit from -20°C to +50°C).
3.3 Inflation process:
• Prior to connection of electric pump to mains supply, check that the voltage stated
on the plate correspond with the available mains supply.
• Prior to start inflating, check that the safety valve is closed.
Safety valve is designed to release excess pressure from the chair, if such situation occur, like
huge temperature changes or not using original pump, when inflating (higher pressure), etc.
• Do not use the electric pump in humid environments or close to water, also never touch
the power cable with wet hands (risk of electric shock).
• After inflating / deflating the chair, switch off the blower immediately to avoid overheating
the motor.
• Do not inflate beyond max. air pressure, stated in technical data. This cannot happen, when
using original electric pump, supplied by Airfun d.o.o.
• While inflating make sure that any kind of dust or sand do not enter into the pneumatic insert.

4. SET-UP

Take the product outside the cardboard packaging and check everything for possible transport
damage.

Pick the right location for the Recovery chair. To prevent damage, make sure that the surface is clean
and there is no debris or other obstacles. If you are using Recovery chair outside, always
use a ground sheet under the chair.

Take the Recovery chair out of the carrying bag and make sure it is unrolled enough to reach
the valve. Pay attention to how it is folded so that you can do it in the same way once you want
to store it.
4.4 Chair inflation:

Prior to connection to the mains supply, check that the voltage corresponds with that
written on the plate.
2. Prior to start inflating, check that the safety valve is closed.

Fit the tube on the inflation side of the blower (OUT). Check that the ON/OFF switch
is set to (0).

Open (unscrew) the valve cap of the chair, push button into the ‘’OUT’’ position
and connect the blower’s tube into the valve.
Important: do not use any force!

Plug the cable into the mains supply and turn the switch to the (I) position, the inflation will
start. When the maximum pressure is reached, switch off the blower and take out the tube.

fter inflation tighten the valve cap (clockwise). Only the valve’s cap can ensure final
air tightness.

5. PACKING
5.1 Open (unscrew) the valve cap, push the button into the ‘’IN’’ position.
5.2 Attach the blower’s tube on the deflation side of the blower (IN) and connect the tube
into the valve.
5.3 When most of the air is out, leave the valve cap open and fold the chair back into initial
position to match the carrying bag.
5.4 Important: after folding the chair make sure to push button of the valve back into the ‘’OUT’’
position and close the valve cap! This prevents the caps from damaging the valves screw thread.

6. CLEANING AND MAINTANANCE
6.1 Cleaning the chair:
• Clean the chair with a damp cloth (use lukewarm water and a microfiber cloth).
• Remove stubborn marks with a pH-neutral soap.
• Never use agents that contain aggressive cleaners (strong detergents, solvents, bleaching
or scouring agents).
6.2 User maintenance:
• Regular cleaning of the chair.
• Always pack and store the chair, when it’s dry.
• Anyway we recommend to regularly monitor main functions of the product and in case
of any malfunctions contact authorized distributor or manufacturer.

8. WARRANTY AND LIABILITY
8.1 Warranty:
• The warranty period is 1 year. It starts with the day of Purchase.
• Should any repairs be necessary during warranty period, the customer must inform
Airfun d.o.o. or local dealer. The warranty must be verified by purchase invoice.
• The warranty obligates Airfun d.o.o. to carry the costs of repair of components which might
fail during normal use inside the warranty period.
• Warranty is not applicable for defects or poor performance in following cases:
•In the event of customer’s improper use or neglect of the product;
•If customer doesn’t follow requirements and recommendations of this User manual;
•If any modifications or repairs are carried out by non-qualified service personnel,
unauthorized by the manufacturer.
8.2 Product life expectance and repairs:
• This product’s expected life is estimated to be 5 years.
• Repair and spare parts are available during life expectance, so 5 years from the date
of purchase.
• Any repairs must be performed by Airfun d.o.o. or its authorized local dealer.
• Repairs can be performed also by the user upon prior agreement with Airfun d.o.o.
and instructions for service.
8.3 Product liability:
The manufacturer or its suppliers or resellers cannot be liable for any consequences incurred
by he user, the patient or the product itself as a result of improper use of the product, wrong
interpretation or non-observance of this user manual, repairs carried out by unauthorized
personnel.
