FEATURES
Design
The product is small and light; it can be used anywhere.
To ensure safety, the product is designed as a simple cylindrical form.
The low-noise structure hardly interferes with sleep.
Function
The filter captures even the ultra-fine dust particles that cannot be caught by the HEPA
filter.
It captures the carbon monoxide (CO) contained in smoke and air generated in day-to-day
living.
It also captures cigarette smoke and other emissions (NOX, SOX).
The filter captures all kinds of viruses, allergen, mildew, fungi, and bacteria.
It also captures toluene, formaldehyde, and other VOCs (substance causing sick car
syndrome and sick house syndrome).
This is the safest air purifier because it does not produce ozone, carbon, or other
secondary toxic substance.
Maintenance
Low electricity charge is incurred, since the maximum power consumption is only 2W.
Filters can be easily cleaned. Maintenance cost is also low, since the equipment’s filter
has a long service life.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
Do not use the unit if the AC-DC Adapter or plug is damaged or the connection to the wall outlet is loose
(electric shock, short circuit, and/or fire may occur).
Do not damage, break, coat, forcefully bend, pull, twist, bundle, pinch or place heavy objects on the AC-DC
Adapter.
(may damage the power cord, which in turn may cause fire and/or electric shock).
Use AC 120V and DC 12V only (to avoid fire and/or electric shock).
Do not modify. Repair and disassembly of this product should be performed by authorized service personnel
only
(to avoid fire, electric shock, and/or bodily injury). Contact your dealer or IDEAVAX Service Center for repair.
Periodically remove dust from the power plug
(accumulated dust on the power plug may result in poor insulation from humidity, etc., thereby causing fire and/or
electric shock).
When cleaning the unit, be sure to remove the power plug from the wall outlet. Never touch the power plug with
wet hands
(electric shock and/or bodily injury may occur).
Do not use the unit where there are oil ingredients such as cooking oil in the air
(surface of the unit may crack).
Do not apply benzene or paint thinner or spray insecticide on the unit
(cracking, electric shock, and/or fire may occur).
Do not allow the unit to take in flammable gases, sparks from lit cigarettes, incense, etc.
(may cause the unit to ignite).
Do not use the unit in humid areas such as bathrooms or areas near moisture
(electric shock and/or malfunction may occur).
Do not insert your fingers or foreign objects into the intake or air outlet
(electric shock and/or malfunction may occur).
When unplugging the unit, always hold the plug; never pull the cord
(electric shock and/or fire due to short circuit may occur).
Ventilate when using the unit together with a heating appliance
(to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning).
Remove the power plug when the unit is not in use
(to avoid electric shock due to poor insulation and/or fire due to short circuit).
For safety, have the AC-DC Adapter replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or other qualified person in
case of damage. The battery must be removed from the remote control before it is disposed. Dispose of used
batteries safely.
2. CAUTIONS RELATED TO THE OPERATION OF THE PRODUCT
Do not block the intake and air outlet. Do not use the unit near or on hot objects such as a stove. Avoid using the
unit in areas where it may come into contact with steam. Do not use the unit on its side
(deformation, malfunction, and/or overheating of the motor may occur).
Do not install in areas where oily residue is generated, e.g., kitchen. Do not use detergent in cleaning the unit
(may damage the unit or cause cracking or malfunction of the sensor).
Do not operate the unit without the filter
(no purification effect will be generated; may also cause trouble).
Do not wash the e-Film filter for nano-dust
(wet e-film filter for nano-dust can cause breakdown or fault in the product).
Do not carry the product by the top cover
(the top cover is made for opening and shutting the product;
breakdown may occur if the product is not completely closed or when shaken due to fall).

2. MAIN UNIT
To prevent dirt or stains on the main unit, clean as often as necessary (stains may be difficult to remove later if they are not
cleaned immediately).
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn stains or dirt, use a soft cloth soaked in warm water (squeeze off excess water).
Do not use volatile fluids on the unit (benzene, paint thinner, polishing powder, etc., may damage the surface of the
unit).
Do not use detergents in cleaning the unit (detergent ingredients may damage the surface of the unit).
Keep the unit dry. Keep unit away from moisture.
DO NOT USE THE REMOTE CONTROL IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS:
Any location where inverter lighting equipment or electronic spontaneous lighting equipment are installed
The remote control may become inoperable. In this case, move away from such lighting equipment or change locations.
Location exposed to direct sunlight
The unit may not receive signals from the remote control.
The unit may not respond to the signals of the remote control if the ends of the fluorescent lighting turn black or lights flicker
due to the expiration of the service life; note, however, that this is not a malfunction of the remote control or the main unit. In
this case, replace the lighting with new fluorescent tubes.
LIMITATIONS ON THE USE OF THE REMOTE CONTROL
Allow a distance of at least 7 feet (2m) from equipment generating electric waves such as televisions, radios,
or wave clocks (to avoid electric interference).
Avoid locations where curtains, etc., may come into contact with the intake or air outlet
(curtains, etc., may get dirty, or malfunction may occur).
Do not move the product by holding it by the top cover.
The top cover is used to open/close the equipment
(if the cover is not completely closed, the equipment may fall and mechanical failure may occur).
EFFECTIVE OPERATION
Place on a stable surface with sufficient air circulation
INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
Do not smell the filter by putting your nose close to it. Avoid skin contact with the equipment.
Do not wash a contaminated filter. Instead, remove the dust using a vacuum cleaner or a brush.
Dust may accumulate on the unit even when it is not operating.
Therefore, cover the unit with any vinyl material when the product will not be used for a long time.
FILTER GUIDELINES
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1. FILTER CLEANING
Take note of the pollution level on
Viewfinder on the reverse side.
Turn off power and unplug the
cord from the wall outlet.
Open the cover by turning the top
cover toward the “OPEN” direction.
Use a brush or a vacuum cleaner to
remove dust from the upper filter.
Turn the top cover to the opposite
direction of “OPEN.”
Place the unit on the ground, plug
the cord, and turn on power again.
Schedule of Filter Change
The SEFF
TM
(Static Electricity Film Filter) of AIRVAX can be reused
after simple, quick cleaning even when the gap is filled with dust and
the unit does not take in as much dust as the new filter. When used
for a long time, however, the filter may be severely discolored.
Therefore, change the filter at least once every three years. For more
detailed information, contact the head office.
