Have allelectricalworkperformed bya licensed electrician
according tothe localregulationsand the instructionsgiven
inthismanual. Secure a circuit designated exclusivelyto
theunit.
Improperinstallation oralackofcircuitcapacitymaycause
theunit to malfunction orpresent a risk of electricshock,
smoke,and fire.
Place theunit on a stable, levelsurfacethat withstandsthe
weight of the unit toprevent the unit from tipping overor
falling causing injuryasa result.
Only use specifiedcablesforwiring.Securely connecteach
cable, and make sure that thecablesarenot straining the
terminals.
Cablesnot connected securelyand properlymaygenerate
heat and causefire.
Take necessarysafetymeasuresagainst typhoonsand
earthquakesto prevent the unit from fallingover.
Do notmake anychangesormodificationsto the unit. In
case of problems, consult thedealer.
Ifrepairsarenot madeproperly, the unit mayleakwater
and present arisk of electric shock,orit mayproducesmoke
orcausefire.
Securelyattach the terminalcover(panel)onthe unit.
If installed improperly,dustand/orwatermayenterthe unit
andpresent a riskof electricshock, smoke orfire.
Onlyuse refrigerant R410Aasindicated on theunit when
installing orrelocating theunit.
The useof anyotherrefrigerant oran introductionof airinto
the unitcircuitmaycause the unitto run an abnormalcycle
andabnormalcycleandcausethe unit to burst.

Air-conditionercan't be installed in the environment with
inflammable gasesbecause the inflammable gasesnear
air-conditionermaycausefire hazard.
Please let thedealerberesponsibleforinstallingthe
conditioner. Incorrectinstallation maycause waterleak,
electricalshockand fire hazard.
Connectearthing wire.
Earthing wire shouldnot be connected to the gas
pipe, waterpipe, lightning rodorphone line,
incorrect earthingmaycause shock.
Use discharge pipecorrectlyto ensure efficientdischarge.
Incorrect pipe usemaycause waterleaking.
Installed electrical-leaking circuitbreaker.
It easilycause electricalshockwithout circuit breaker.
Callthedealertotake measuresto prevent the refrigerant
from leaking.
If conditionerisinstalledina smallroom, besureto take
everymeasure in orderto preventsuffocationaccident
even in caseof refrigerant leakage.
When conditioneris installed orreinstalled,the dealershould
be responsible forthem.
Incorrect installationmaycause waterleaking,electrical
shockand firehazard.
No goodsornobodyispermittedto
placed on orstandon outdoorunit.The
falling of goodsand peoplemaycause
accidents.
Don't operate theair-conditionerwith
damp hands.Otherwiseit willbeshocked.

Precautions forHandling Units forUsewithR410A
Do not use the existing refrigerant piping
Theoldrefrigerantand refrigeratoroilinthe existingpiping
containa large amount of chlorine, which willcausethe
refrigeratoroilinthe new unitto deteriorate.
R410Aisa high-pressure refrigerant, andthe useof the
existing pipingmayresultin bursting.
Keep the innerand outersurfacesof thepipescleanand
freeof contaminantssuchassulfur,oxides, dust/dirt shaving
particles,oils,andmoisture.
Contaminantsinside the refrigerantpiping will causethe
refrigerant oilto deteriorate.
Use avacuum pump with a reverse-flow checkvalve.
If othertypesof valvesareused, the vacuumpump oil will
flowback intotherefrigerantcycleandcausetherefrigerator
oiltodeteriorate.
Donot use the following toolsthat have been used withthe
conventionalrefrigerants.Preparetools that areforexclusive
usewithR410A.
(Gauge manifold, charging hose, gasleakdetector,
reverse-flow checkvalve, refrigerant chargebase,vacuum
gauge, and refrigerant recovery equipment.)
If refrigerant and/orrefrigerant oilleft on these toolsare
mixed inwith R410, orifwateris mixed with R410A,itwill
cause therefrigerant todeteriorate.
SinceR410Adoesnot containchlorine,gas-leakdetectors
forconventionalrefrigeratorswillnot work.
Storethe pipingto beused during installation indoors, and
keep both endsof the piping sealed untilimmediatelybefore
brazing.(keep elbowsand otherjointswrapped in plastic.)
If dust, dirt, orwaterenters the refrigerant cycle, it may
cause the oilin the unit todeteriorateormaycause the
compressorto malfunction.
Alargeamount of mineraloilwillcause the refrigerating
machine oiltodeteriorate.
Use a small amount of esteroil, etheroil, oralkylbenzene
to coatflaresand flange connections.
Use liquid refrigerant to charge thesystem.
Chargetheunitwith gasrefrigerant willcausetherefrigerant
in thecylinderto change itscompositionandwillleadto
adrop in performance
Donot usea charging cylinder.
The useof chargingcylinderwillchange the composition
of the refrigerant andlead to powerloss.
Exercise specialcarewhenhandling the tools.
Anintroduction of foreign objectssuchasdust, dirt or
waterinto the refrigerant cycle will cause the refrigerating
machineoilto deteriorate.
OnlyuseR410Arefrigerant.
The useof refrigerantscontainingchlorine(i.e. R22)will
cause therefrigerant todeteriorate.

Inthe event ofa refrigerant gasleak,provideadequate
ventilation tothe room.
If leaked refrigerantgasisexposedto aheatsource,noxious
gasesmayform.
Donottouchthe finson the heatexchangerwithbarehands,
fortheyare sharpanddangerous.
Do nottryto defeat thesafetyfeaturesof the devices, and
do not change thesettings.
Defeatingthesafetyfeaturesontheunitsuchasthe pressure
switchand temperatureswitchorusing partsotherthanthe
dealerorspecialist mayresult in fire orexplosion.
Wheninstalling theunit in a small room, safeguard against
hypoxiathatresultsfrom leakedrefrigerant reachingthe
threshold level.
Consult thedealerfornecessarymeasuresto take.
When relocating the airconditioner, consult the dealeror
a specialist.
Improperinstallationmayresultinwaterleak,electricshock,
orfire.
Aftercompleting theservicework, checkfora refrigerant
gasleak.
If leaked gasrefrigerant isexposed to a heat sourcesuch
asfan heater,stove,and electricgrill, noxiousgasesmay
form.
Onlyuse specifiedparts.
Have theunit professionallyinstalled. Improperinstallation

WithAll-Freshtype airconditioners, outdoorairmaybe
directlyblown into the roomuponthermo off. Take thisinto
considerationwheninstallingthe unit.
Direct exposureto outdoorairmaypresentahealth hazard,
and it mayalso cause food itemsto deteriorate.
Children should be supervisedto ensurethat theydo not
playwiththe appliance.

Before Installing (Relocating) theUnitorPerformingElectricWork
Ground the unit.
Donotconnectthe groundingon theunittogaspipes,water
pipes, lightning rods, orthe groundingterminalsof
telephones.Impropergrounding presentsarisk of electric
shock, smoke,fire, orthe noise causedbyimproper
grounding maycausethe unit to malfunction.
Before the TestRun
Do not operate switcheswith wet handsto avoid electric. Allow forat leastfive minutesbeforeturning off the unit,
otherwisethe unitmayleakwaterorexperienceother
problems.
Donotturn off thepowerimmediatelyafterstopping theunit.
If thewiresare too taut, theymaybreakorgenerate heat
and/orsmoke and cause fire.
Make sure the wiresare not subject totension.
Installabreakerforcurrent leakage at the powersource
to avoid the riskof electricshock.
Without a breakerforcurrent leakage, thereisa risk of
electric shock, smoke orfire.
Usebreakersand fuses(electricalcurrent breaker, remote
switch<switch+Type-Bfuse>,molded case circuit breaker)
with a propercurrent capacity.
The use of large-capacityfuses,steelwire,orcopperwire
maydamage theunit orcause smokeorfire.
When installing draining pipes,follow the instructionsinthe
manual,and makesurethattheyproperlydrainwaterso as
toavoiddew condensation.
If not installedproperly, theymaycausewaterleaksand
damage the furnishings.
Donot spraywateron the airconditioners orimmerse the
airconditioners inwater.
Wateron theunit presentsariskof electricshock.
Periodically check the platformon whichis placed fordamage
toprevent the unit from falling.
If theunitisleft on adamaged plarform, itmaytoppleover,
causing injury.
Thingssuch asnailsmaybe included in the package.
Dispose of them properlyto preventinjury.
Plasticbagspresent a chokinghazard tochildren.Tear
up theplastic bagsbefore disposing of them to prevent
accidents.
Properlydispose of the packing materials.
Do not touchthe refrigerant pipeswith barehandsduring
andimmediatelyafteroperation.
Dependingon the state of therefrigerant in thesystem,
certain partsof theunit suchasthe pipesandcompressor
maybecome verycoldorhot and maysubjectthe person
to frost bitesorburning.
Do not operatedthe unit without panelsandsafetyguards
intheirproperplaces.
Theyare there tokeep the usersfrom injuryfrom
accidentallytouching rotating, high-tempreture orhigh-
voltage parts.
Dust particlesin the airmayclogthe system and cause
malfunction.
Donot operate theunit without airfilters.

topreservethe qualityof these items.
Do not use the unit in anunusualenvironment
Theuse of the unit in the presence of a large amount of
oil,steam,acid, alkalinesolventsorspecialtypesof sprays
maylead to aremarkable drop in performance and/or
malfunctionandpresentsa riskof electricshock,smoke,
orfire.
Thepresence oforganicsolvents, corrodedgas(suchas
ammonia,sulfurcompounds,andacid maycausegasor
waterleak.)
When installing the unitinahospital,takenecessarymeasures
against noise.
High-frequency medicalequipmentmayinterferewith the
normaloperationof the airconditioning unit orthe air
conditioning unitmayinterfere with the normaloperation
of the medicalequipment
When humiditylevelexceeds80%orwhen the drainage
system is clogged, indoorunitsmaydrip water.
Installation of acentralized drainage system forthe outdoor
unitmayalsoneedto beconsideredto prevent waterdrips
from the outdoorunits.
Do not placethe unitonoroverthingsthat maynot get wet.

The table showsthe standardsinJapan. Using thistable asareference, choose pipesthat meet the localstandards.
The flare machiningdimensionsforunitsthat use R410Aislargerthan those forunitsthat use R22 inordertoincrease
airtightness.
If a clutchtype flare toolisused to machine flareson unitsthat use R410A, make the protruding part of thepipe between
1.0 and 1.5mm. Copperpipe gauge foradjusting the length of pipe protrusion isuseful.

temperature variationsintoaccount.
Wheninvestigating leakage locationsusinga refrigerant, be sure touse R410A.
Ensure that R410Aisin aliquid state whencharging.
Useof oxygenasthe pressurizedgasmaycause an explosion.
ChargingwithR410Agaswilllead the composition of the remaining refrigerant inthe cylindertochange and then this
refrigerant can not beused.

Items to be strictly observed:
Reasons:
Because R410Aisasimulated azeotropicrefrigerant, it canbehandledin almostthesame mammerasasinglerefrigerant
such asR22. Howerver, if therefrigerant isremoved in the vaporphase, thecomposition of the refrigerant inthe cylinder
willsomewhat change.
Remove the refrigerant inthe liquidphase.Additionalrefrigerant maybeadded in case of arefrigerant leak.
Characteristics of theConventional and the NewRefrigerants
Requiredaccuracy of thevacuum gauge
Use avacuum gaugethat can measureup to 650Pa. Do not use a generalgaugemanifoldsince itcannot measure a
vacuumof 650Pa.
Vacuuming
Vacuum pumpwith check valve
Avacuum pumpwitha checkvalveisrequired to prevent the vacuumpump oilfrom flowing backinto the refrigerant
circuit whenthe vacuumpump poweristurnedoff (powerfailure). It isalsopossible to attach a checkvalveto theactual
vacuumpump afterwards.
Standarddegree of vacuum forthe vacuum pump
Use apump which reaches65Paorbelow after5 minutesof operation.
Inaddition, be sure touse a vacuumpump that hasbeen properlymaintainedand oiled usingthe specifiedoil. If the
vacuumpump isnot properlymaintained, the degree of vacuum maybe too low.
Evacuatingtime
Evacuate the equipment for1 hourafter650Pa hasbeenreached.
Afterenvacuating, leave theequipmentfor1 hourandmake sure the that vacuum is not lost.
Operatingprocedure whenthe vacuumpump is stopped
Inordertoprevent abackflowof thevacuum pump oil, open the relief valve on the vacuumpump sideorloosen the
charge hoseto drawninairbefore stopping operation.The same operatingprocedureshould beused when using a
vacuumpump with acheckvalve.

Detachthe service port'scap ofgasstop valve,the valverod'scap forliquid
stop valveandgasstopvalve, and connectthe serviceportinto the projection
of chargehose (low)forgaugemanifold. Thenconnect the projection of
charge hose(center) forgaugemanifold into vacuumpump.
Openthe handleat lowingaugemanifold,and operate vacuum pump.If the
scale-movesof gause (low)reach vacuum conditionina moment, check
the step1 again.
Vacuumizeforover15min. And checkthe levelgauge whichshould read-
0.1MPa(-76cmHg)at lowpressureside.Afterthecompletionofvacuumizing,
closethe handle 'Lo'in the vacuum pump. Checkthe condition of thescale
andhold it for1-2min.If the scale-movesbackin spite of tightening, make
flaring workagain, then returnto the beginning of the step 3.
Open the valve rodfortheliquid stop valveto an angleof anticlockwise 90
degree.After6 seconds, close theliquid stopvalveandmakethe inspection
of gasleakge.
No gasleakage? Incaseof gasleakage, tightenpartsof pipeconnection. If leakage stops, then proceed the step 6.If it
doesnot stop gasleakage, discharge wholerefrigerantsfrom the service port. Afterflaringwork again and vacuumize,
fillup prescribedrefrigerant fromthegascylinder.
Detach the chargehose fromthe service port, open liquidstopvalve and
gasstop valve.Turnthe valverod anticlockwiseuntilhitting lightly.
Toprevent the gasleakage, turn the serviceportscap, the valve rodiscap
forliquid stopvalve and gasstop valvea little more than thepoint where
the torque increasessuddenly.
If the refrigerant of theairconditionerleaks, it isnecessary to make alltherefrigerant out. Vacuumize first, then charge
the liquid refrigerant into airconditioneraccording to the amount marked on the nameplate.

The wiring method shouldbe in line with the local wiring standard.
The power cable and connecting cable should be self-provided.
Allthe cablesshall have got the European authentication certificate. During installation, when the connecting cables
break off, it must be assured that the grouding wire is the last one to be broken off.
The breaker of the airconditioner should be all-pole switch; and the distance between its two contacts should not be no
less than 3mm. Such means for disconnection must be incorporation in the fixed wiring.
The distance between its two terminal blocksof indoor unit and outdoor unit should not be over 5m. If exceeded, the
diameter of the wire should be enlarged according to the local wiring standard.
Aleakage breaker must be installed.
Wiring procedure
1)Removeset screwson the side before taking off the front paneltoward the direction.
2)Connect wirestothe terminalblockcorrectlyand fix the wireswitha wire clamp equippednearbythe terminalblock.
3)Route thewiresin a properwayand penetrate thewiresthrough the opening forelectricalwiringon the side panel.

Move and scrap the air conditioning
When moving, to disassemble and re-installthe airconditioning, please contact your dealerfor technical support.
In thecompositionmaterialof airconditioning, the content of lead, mercury,
hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers are not more than 0.1%
(mass fraction) and cadmium is not more than 0.01% (mass fraction).
Pleaserecycletherefrigerantbeforescrapping,moving,settingandrepairingtheairconditioning; for the airconditioning
scrapping, should be dealt with bythe qualified enterprises.
