The AK-CA-24 fan controller with an LCD display is designed for installation in a computer case in a
5.25" bay. The panel is equipped with an LCD screen, speed controllers for two fans, two USB 3.0 ports
and a fan failure alarm.

Product accordance with the EU directive 2002/96/EC. The symbol of the crossed out basket
placed on the product means that the marked product can not be disposed of with other

in any way. In the reason of using the power supply for other purposes than those described,
the product may be demaged. The incorrect use may also cause hazard such as short-circuits,
burns, electric shocks, etc. Read the users manual carefully and keep it for later use. The product
could be share to third partie only with the user manual included.
The RoHS mark on the product is the manufacturer's declaration that the marked product meets
the requirements of the EU Restriction of Hazardous Substances (2002/95/EC) directive, which
aims to reduce the amount of hazardous substances penetrating into the environment from
electrical and electronic waste.

Safety Precautions
An electrostatic discharge occurs when two object touch each other, for example, an electric
charge that occurs when user touch metal door handle after walking on a carpet. Discharging
electrostatic charges from fingers or other electrostatic conductors can damage electronic
components. To avoid damaging the e-bike, abstain from touching electrical outlets, wires and
electonic circuits. The user’s contact with electronic components should be kept to a minimum.
The manufacturer of the product is not responsible for damage or insults caused in effect
of disobey the safety instructions and informations contained in these user manual.
źBefore turning on the computer, make sure that the controller has been placed correctly in the
bay.
źIt is forbidden to apply the mechanical load to the product - strong shocks, impacts, dropping or
crushing may cause its damage.
źIt is forbidden to modify the controller. In case of modifications the controller may be damaged
causing danger to life, health and property.
źMount the controller carefully in the enclosure to avoid damaging the cables or other parts
inside it.
źIn case of any doubts regarding operation, safety or connection of the product, please contact
the manufacturer or a qualified specialist for this purpose.
źTake into account the instructions of other devices to which the controller is connected.
źKeep the product and the packaging out of range of children and animals. The package
includes a foil that child could choke while playing.
źIf the product has been damaged, does not work properly or has been stored for a long period
of time in bad or unfavorable conditions, safe operation of the device is not possible. It is
essential to stop using the product and to protect it against re-use for security purposes.
źShort-circuiting the current connection and putting not intended objects to USB ports are
prohibited.
źProduct and power cord should not be touched with moist or wet hands under no
circumstances.
źAvoid thermal load of the cable - in particular keep away from heat sources (such as stoves,
radiators, fireplaces).
źThe product operation in adverse conditions is not allowed. Adverse conditions are primarily:
exposure to direct sunlight, high or very low ambient temperatures, strong vibrations, high
humidity, surrounds of gases, dusts or flammable and aggressive liquids.
źAll maintenance, adjustment and repair work on the product may only be carried out by a
qualified person in a specialist facility.

1. Knob for changing the speed of fan 1
The knob controls the speed of fan 2 by varying the fan supply voltage from 7.9 to 12 V.
On the left side of the display, there is the current temperature reading from the sensor marked CPU and
the speed value of fan 1.

The knob is used to control the speed of fan 1. This control is carried out by varying the fan supply
voltage from 8.4 to 11 V.
On the right side of the display, there is the current temperature reading from the sensor marked SYS
and the speed value of fan 2.

The 4 / 3-pin hybrid connector is used to connect the fan.

9. Sensor SYS
The sensor is used to measure the temperature. The current value is displayed on the left side of the
display.

display.
11. USB 3.0 connector
Use this cable with a 19-pin USB connector to connect the USB 3.0 ports to your mainboard or
expansion card.
12. Molex connector
The cable with a Molex connector is used to connect the controller to the power supply.

Cleaning
źUse soft and antistatic cloth for cleaning the power supply.
źDo not use abrasive or chemical cleaners.
źDo not immerse the controller in water.
Disconect the power supply from the electrical socket and connected devices before cleaning.
6. The controller is now ready for use.
1. Turn off the power to the computer.
2. Pull out the dust cover from the front side of the case.
3. Slide the controller into the 5.25" bay.
4. Screw the controller to the case.
5. Connect the controller to the respective components:
a) Plug the Molex connector into the ATX power supply.
b) Plug the USB connector into the matching USB 3.0 socket on your mainboard.
c) Plug in the 4-pin connectors of the two fans.
d) Install thermometers around the CPU and in the centre of the case (SYS).
Sound Alarm:
The controller has a built-in alarm that informs:
a) when the fan speed decreases below 200 RPM or when it stops completely,
b) when the temperature inside the enclosure exceeds 70°C.
