1Getting started
1.1 Removing or installing the back cover

The mobile phone can only work with the UIM card. Press and hold the end key till
power off. Insert the UIM card with the metallic contact downwards, sliding it into
the slot as shown by the arrow, paying attention to the position of the slanted angle.
To remove the UIM card, slide the card out in the direction shown.

1.3 Installing or removing the battery
Remove the back cover and install the battery as shown below (direction of the
arrow).

1.4 Power on / off your phone
When power off and battery is sufficient, to press and hold the end key can switch
phone on.
If a password or a PIN code is activated, to enter the password or the PIN code is a
must. For details about the PIN code and password, please refer to Menu >
Settings > Security> phone lock.
When phone is activated, to press and hold the key, the phone will be switched off.
2Making and received calls
2.1 Making a call
Dial the desired number then press the Call key to make a call. If you dialed wrong,
you can delete the incorrect digits by pressing the Right soft key/DEL Key.
To hang up the call, press the END key.
2.2 Making an emergency call
If your phone has network coverage, dial emergency number and press the Call key
to make an emergency call.
2.3 Speed Dial

In the standby mode, long press key 2 to 9 to speed dial a number. You also can
press the key 2 to 9 and then press the Send key to speed dial a number. Please go
to Contacts > Speed dial to set the number from your phonebook first. Key 1 is a
default setting for voice mail number.
3Entering Letters, Numbers and Symbols
You may enter letters, numbers and symbols in the Contact, SMS, Note and other
menu functions.
Entering letters
There are four text modes: Abc, abc, ABC, en.
Please use the FN key to change input modes.
Entering numbers
Press Shift Key once to input one number, and twice to lock in number input
status. Or press Shift key and the number key you want to insert at same
time.
Entering symbols
Press SYM key to enter symbol list.
Press Shift key once to switch to upper chars once.
Press Shift key twice to lock on upper chars, then press Shift key again to
unlock.

From the main menu select Messages > Create to create a new text message.
