Erection
Check that all components are on site and that they are functioning correctly. Check if the ground on
which the mobile access tower system in to be erected and moved is fairly level, even and capable of
supporting the tower system.
Alcomexindo Aluminum Scaffolding must always be climbed from the inside during erection.


B) Lifting of equipment
Alcomexindo Aluminium Scaffolding components should be firmly secured by reliable lifting material
(e.g.rope). employing a reliable knot (e.g.clove hitch), to ensure safe fastening.
C) Movement
Before moving Alcomexindo Aluminium Scaffolding, beware of soft or uneven ground, rains or pot,
holes and overhead obstruction, especially power cables. The ground shall be level, hard and generally

Alcomexindo Aluminium Scaffolding should only be moved by manual effort! Do not move
Alcomexindo Aluminium Scaffolding vehicles (e.g. lift trucks). Do not lift, pull or push the scaffold with a

relocated.
d) During use, be aware of the effect of wind.
Beware of high winds in exposed, gusty or medium breeze conditions. We recommend that in wind
speeds over 7.7 meters per second (17 m.p.h), case working on the tower system. If the wind becomes
a strong breeze, expected to reach 11.3 meters per second (25 m.p.h), tie the tower to a rigid structure.
If the wind is likely to reach gale force, over 18 meters per second (407.7m/s (17 m.p.h) m.p.h), the

should be secured against accidental remove where practicable, and be supported on the lowest rung of

of use (ground gradient must not exceed 3%). Carry out the following work steps to move the scaffold
tower system.
To move the scaffold tower system, disengage the brake level and move the Alcomexindo Aluminium
Scaffolding the desired location, observing the “Safety Rules” in section 2
After reaching the site : brake the castors by depressing the brake level, Adjust the castors, if
required, until the mobile scaffold tower system is standing level and the castors have ground contact,
This mobile scaffold tower system shall be erected by at least 2 competent persons.
1. Insert the four adjustable legs into the vertical tubes of two base frame ( one of base frame has a U-
shape extension rung). Make the legs and vertical tube have a firm connection by fastening the V-shape
bolt. Turn the assembled base unit upside down so that the wheels can contact ground. Lock the brakes

5. Erection Instructions
5.1 General
CAUTION the erection of a Alcomexindo Aluminium Scaffolding may only proceed when the SAFETY
RULES in section 2 have been read and understood completely.
The following instructions are general instructions and apply for the mobile scaffold tower
system.

2)Horizontal and diagonal braces are fastened by means of snap locks which engage during erection
and which are secured against an inadvertent release. The snap locks are opened by pressing the catch
against the force of the spring.
3)Make sure that the diagonal braces always engage next to the crossbars of the push-on frames from
above.
4)At least two persons are required for the erection and dismantling of the.

¾Before finishing work, check that all push-on connections are secured with the proper rung and all spring
interlock clips are engaged correctly.

Cleaning the mobile scaffold tower components
9The scaffold tower system can be cleaned using water with a commercial cleaner added. Paint can be
removed
