Installing the Hardware
1. RemovetheDVD/CDRoboRacerSAfromthebox.Connectthepower
cordtothemachine.Attachtheappropriatepoweradapterifnecessary(for
280112EUR).Connectthepowercordintoanappropriatepowersource.Place
theRoboRacerSAonalevelsurface.
2. SlidethebinholderintotheslotontheleftsideoftheRoboRacerSAcaseand
placeadiscoutputbinintothebinholder.Therearetwooutputbinsincluded
(50disccapacity,100disccapacity).Makesuretokeeptheoutputbinsthat
comewiththe280112.Althoughsimilartoanormaldiscmediacover,theDisc
OutputBinsareforspecicusewiththeRoboRacerSA.Wheninstalling,make
surethattheangesonthebinaretouchingthelipofthebinholder.Ifthebin
isnotpusheddownasfarasitcango,theedgeofthebincouldinterferewith
thediscoutput.Tousethe100discbin,theDVD/CDRoboRacerSAshouldbe
placedattheedgeofadeskortable.Makesurethatthebindoesnottouchthe
edgeofthedeskortablesurface.
3. Taketheclearplasticdiscguiderodsandplacethemintothe4holesinthe
topoftheunit.Toloadthediscsintotheinputbin,takeonediscandplaceit
horizontallylevelintheinputbin.Nowyoucanloadtherestofthediscs.Allof
thediscsneedtobelevelwiththesidesofthestackstraight.
4. Sametheboxandpackagingmaterialforreturnshipmentshouldyourunit
requireservice.
Note: Choose a Good Location
1. Allow adequate clearance for moving parts.
2. When placing the duplicator on the side/edge of a tabletop ensure
that all four foot pads are in complete contact with the surface of
the table.
3. Do not place near heat sources such as radiators or air ducts, or
in a place subject to direct sunlight, excessive dust, mechanical
vibration or shock.
4. Good care will help assure maximum product life. Improper
operating environment and misuse may void the warranty.
5. Turn the duplicator off and leave unplugged when not in use.

ThisisthedefaultmodeoftheDVD/CDRoboRacerSAcontroller.Thisfunction
willactivatetheduplicationprocess.
1. Loadasourcediscintheinputbinandloadblankdiscsforthenumberof
copiesneeded.
MultiDuplicatehasaspecialfeaturethatwillproducecopiesofmultiple
sourcediscsautomatically.Multiplesourcediscscanbeinterleavedwithin
blanktargetdiscsloadedintheDVD/CDRoboRacerSAtoproducecopiesof
multiplesourcediscsinonesession.Startbyloadingtherstsourcediscand
thedesirednumberofblankdiscsforcopies,thenloadthenextsourcediscand
blankdiscsforcopiesofthenextsourceandsoon.
2. PressENTER()andthemachinewillproducethedesirednumberofcopies
ofeachsourcediscautomatically.

FirstinstalltheImageManagersoftwareincludedontheSoftware/UserGuideCD.
Using Image Manager
1. OncetheImageManagersoftwareisinstalled,puttheRoboRacerSAintoUSB
ModeandconnectthedevicetoyourPC.
2. AfterWindowshasnishedregisteringthedeviceyouwillhaveaccesstothe
HDDthroughtheImageManagersoftware.
3. ToloadanimageletotheRoboRacerSA’sHDD,starttheImageManager
software.
4. Therstscreenthatwillappearwillbetheimageyouseebelow.Selectthe
“ManageImages”buttonlocatedatthelowerleftcornerofthescreen.
5. Afterclickingonthe“ManageImages”button,youwillseeatablewhereeach
partitionisorwillbelocatedontheHDD.

6. Clickonthetablerowtochoosewhichpartitionyouwillloadtheimageonto.
Therowselectedwillbehighlightedinblue.TheletteryouseeintheIndex
columnisthesameastheletterusedtolocatetheimagewhenyoureturnthe
duplicatorbacktostandalonemode(USBModeoff).
a. ClicktheLoad From .CPM letoloada.CPMimagele.Thisletype
isusedbytheduplicatorinstandalonemodewhenyouloadadisconto
theHDDusingtheImageLoadfeature.
b. ClicktheLoad From .ISO letoloadastandardISOimagele.
To create ISO images from your computer, you can install the Nero
software (see disc included). See page 29 for detailed instructions
about the Nero software.
c. TheLoad From .DVM leisalsoavailable.
7. IfyouwanttoloadanimagesuchasanalreadyexistingISOimage,choosethe
Load From ISO leandlocatethelethatyouwishtoload.

8. OnceyouclickOpenyouwillseetheInformationscreenappear.ClicktheOK
buttontobeginloadingthediscimage.
9. TheManageImagesscreenwillappearanddisplaythestatusoftheimageload.
Thescreenwillthendisappearwhenthetransferiscompleted.
10. Youwillnowseetheimageleyoujustloadedontotheduplicator’sHDDin
thepartitionthatyouchose.

11. Ifyouwouldliketoedittheimageinformationsothatyoucaneasilyndthe
image,selectthe“EditTitle”buttonatthetopoftheManageImagesscreento
addadescriptiontotheselectedimagele.
12. Ifyouwouldliketoexporttheimagelesontheduplicator’sHDDontothePC,
selecttheimagethatyouwouldliketoexport.ThenclicktheExport to (ISO,
CPM, DVM) lebutton.Thisoptionisusefulifyoudonothaveanoriginal
ISOleandhadloadedadiscimageintheRoboRacerSAusingtheImage
Loadfeature,whichasdescribedearlierwillcreatea.CPMimagele.
13. WhenyouarenishedusingtheImageManagerclicktheClosebuttoninthe
upperrightcorneroftheManageImagesscreenandthenclicktheExitbutton
inthemainmenufortheImageManager.
14. TaketheRoboRacerSAoutofUSBModebypressingtheESCAPE
()buttonandthenpressENTER().
15. Burntheimagelocatedinthepartitionjustloadedbyfollowingthe“Image
Burn”procedureoutlinedonpage11ofthisUserGuide.
