This manual is intended to provide the installer with complete instructions for the connections and
calibrationofthe"AlignerCCD2.0WiFi"wheelalignmentequipment
Theinstructionsregardinguseandmaintenance,reservedforthe end user, are collected in the specific
manualsuppliedwiththemachineordownloadablefromthemanufacturer'swebsite.
Attention!The "CALIBRATION" procedure is reserved for specialist technical assistance
personnel;forthisreason,accesstothemispassword‐protected.

2 CONNECTIONS
2.1 Powerlineconnection
The alignment sensor panels must be connected to the 115/230Vac 50/60Hz power line; the maximum
powerusedis100W.
Usethepoweroutletlocatedonthesideofthepanels.
Thepanelscanbeconnectedtothenetworkseparately(ontwodifferentwalls)ortherightpanelcanbe
poweredonthepowerstripbehindtheleftpanel,asintheexampleinFigure3.
ATTENTION:Thepowerlineshouldnotbeturnedoffduringthenightasthedetectorsmustberecharged.

Thebatteriesofthedetectorsarerechargedwhentheyareplacedonthededicatedchargingsupportson
thepanel.Thesesupportscarry7.5VDCpowersupply.
Attention:The+/‐polesmustbecorrect,checkthemwhenthedetectorisbeingcharged.

4.1 DescriptionandConfiguration
TheWiFinetworkoftheCCD2.0WiFiset‐upessentiallyconsistsofthe2frontdetectorsconnectedtothe
"connect"SSIDgeneratedbytheaccesspointandthetabletalsoconnectedtothe"connect"SSID.

Itispossible toconnectthe Detectors andthe Tablettoa different SSID, usefulif for examplethere are
multipleCCD2.0WiFisettingsinthesameroom.
TochangethenameoftheSSIDontheAccessPoint,refertothe instructions provided by the
manufacturer.
TosetthefrontdetectorssothattheyautomaticallyconnecttothedifferentSSID,itisnecessaryto
proceedasfollows:
‐ InitialisethedetectorswiththeResetprocedure‐seechap.4.2

4.2 InitialisationofthefrontWIFIdetectors
To initially set up the “CCD‐WIFI” front detectors (Reset WIFI
procedure), operations must be carried out manually using the
appropriatekeypad.
The operations to be performed are illustrated in sequence
below:
- PresstheF2 andF3 keyssimultaneously
- PresstheF4key 3times;theredLEDinthisphaseflashes.
- PresstheF5key toconfirm,waitafewsecondsforResetoftheWIFImodule;duringthisphase
theredLEDflashesfaster,attheendtheLEDstaysonpermanently.
- SwitchoffthedetectorwiththeF1 andF4 keys.

4.4 Connectionofsensorsandinternaldevicesofthedetectors
The connections inside the detector are already made at the factory,sothereisnoneedtoopenthe
detectoritself,excepttoreplacecomponents.
However,itisadvisablenottoremovethedetectorcover;intheeventofmalfunctions,itispreferableto
contactthemanufacturer.However,whenitisnecessarytointerveneforsimplemaintenanceoperations,
e.g.whenreplacingthebattery,itisadvisabletopayparticularattentiontoreturningtheremovedpartsto
theiroriginalposition.

5 CALIBRATION
5.1 Detectorscalibration
Thewheelalignmentdetectorsarealreadycalibratedatthefactory;moreover,thecalibrationvaluesarestored
intheCPUmemoryofthedetectoritself.Therefore,wheninstallingorreplacingadetector,itisnotnecessary
tocalibrateorconfiguretheequipmentwithcalibrationdata.
The calibration is performed only in case of replacement of transducers or following ascertained repetitive
errors due to movements of transducers (consequently to falls, impactsetc.).Usethefollowingcalibration
