2. General description
The Alivida Sauna Controller regulates the power of sauna heaters which is controlled by the Alivida
Touch Control Panel.
The Sauna Controller consists of the following components:
- Alivida Sauna Control Box.
- Alivida Touch Control Panel.
- Temperature sensor and thermal protection.
controller
The controller senses the temperature of the sauna using the temperature sensor. This temperature
sensor switches the heating elements in the stove on and off in order to maintain the set temperature with
an accuracy of +/- 2°C. The temperature sensor is an NTC which is provided with a 2 core cable with a
length of 3.5 meters. This cable is provided with a screw connector.
Pay attention! When the thermal protection is activated, the system stops. All functions will be
disabled until the thermal protection problem is resolved.

5
Temperature sensor and thermal protection
The temperature sensor is standard equipped with a 3.5 meter cable.
It can be extended using an optional extension cable. This temperature sensor must be mounted in
the supplied sensor holder. The thermal protector breaks the circuit when the maximum
temperature is reached. All functions of the sauna controller are disabled. According to the safety
rules, the heating element will not break immediately, but will be switched off via the electronics.
This thermal protection cannot therefore be regarded as a safety element!
RGB LED Control Box (optional)
The RGB LED Control Box makes it possible to control a total of 150 Watts of RGB LED strips. This RGB LED
Control Box is connected to the sauna control controller via a Buss cable. Through the display
of the sauna controller you can choose from 2 color change programs and a number of fixed colors.
