EXTERIOR AUXILIARY LIGHTING FOR OFF ROAD USE
ONLY. THIS PRODUCT IS NOT DOT APPROVED.
INSTALLATION GUIDELINE
TerraBar 15TM is an auxiliary light designed to provide
exterior auxiliary and accent lighting while driving off
road. TerraBar 15TM has a distinct amperage draw
below in the installation instructions. If you are not
confident in your ability to install the Alpena®TerraBar
15TM please consult a licensed mechanic.
TerraBar 15TM has specific voltage and amperage
ratings for power input and amperage draw. ENSURE
THESE RATINGS ARE FOLLOWED. The TerraBar 15TM
must be installed in a properly functioning vehicle
electrical system. Do not install this product in a
malfunctioning vehicle electrical system.
Select a mounting location that will not obstruct the
operation of headlights or turn signals
Clean mounting surfaces before installing units using
water, and if necessary, a 50/50 mix of water and
rubbing alcohol
Before permanently mounting to vehicle, test fit to
ensure optimal beam pattern, height, and width and
that wiring is long enough to be safely installed and
does not obstruct any operating functions of the
vehicle. These lights should not be installed wherein
operation hinders the visibility of the driver or other
drivers
During operation lighting units can get hot - do not
touch while operational or within 30 minutes of
powering down.
It is recommended that you consult your vehicle
owner’s manual to determine the location of airbag
sensors before installation. The manufacturer or the
retailer is not responsible for inflation of airbags or
damage to airbag sensors due to the installation of this
product.
Before disconnecting battery terminals, please check
your owner's manual for proper procedure.

WARRANTY
The manufacturer warrants this products when they are
properly installed, connected, and operated, for a
period of 1 year from the date of purchase. The
warranty is void and neither the manufacturer nor the
retailer is responsible for any product failure, damage,
or injury if these instructions are not strictly followed.

DIRECTIVES D'INSTALLATION
TerraBar 15MC est un éclairage auxiliaire conçu pour offrir éclairage
d'accentuation & auxiliaire extérieur lors de la conduite hors route.
TerraBar 15MC a un débit en ampères distinct ci-dessous dans les
instructions d'installation. Si vous n'avez pas confiance en vos
capacités à installer le Alpena®TerraBar 15MC, veuillez consulter un
mécanicien licencié.
TerraBar 15MC a une tension spécifique et une intensité de courant
pour l'entrée de courant et le débit en ampères. S'ASSURER QUE
CES DÉBITS SONT RESPECTÉS. Le TerraBar 15MC doit être installé
dans un système électrique de véhicule qui fonctionne correctement.
Ne pas installer ce produit dans un système électrique de véhicule
qui ne fonctionne pas correctement.
Sélectionner un endroit de montage qui n'obstruera pas les phares
ou les feux de direction
Avant d'installer les unités, nettoyer les surfaces de montage en
utilisant de l'eau, et si nécessaire, un mélange 50/50 d'eau et
d'alcool à friction
Avant de monter de façon permanente le support au véhicule, faire
un test pour assurer un faisceau, une hauteur et une largeur
optimaux et aussi s'assurer que le câblage est suffisamment long
pour être installé de façon sécuritaire et pour ne pas obstruer
aucune fonction d'utilisation du véhicule. Ces lumières ne devraient
pas être installées où le fonctionnement entrave la visibilité du
conducteur ou des autres conducteurs.
Durant le fonctionnement, les unités de lumière peuvent devenir
chaudes - ne pas toucher lors de leur fonctionnement ou en dedans
de 30 minutes après les avoir éteintes.
Il est recommandé de consulter le manuel du propriétaire de votre
véhicule pour déterminer l'emplacement des capteurs de coussins
de sécurité gonflables avant d'installer. Le fabricant ou le détaillant
n'est pas responsable du gonflage des coussins de sécurité ou des
dommages aux capteurs de coussins de sécurité gonflables causés
par l'installation de ce produit.
Avant de débrancher les bornes de batterie, veuillez vérifier votre
manuel du propriétaire pour la procédure appropriée.

GARANTIE
Le fabricant garantit ce produit lorsqu'installés, connectés et
fonctionnant correctement, pour une période de 1 an à partir de la

ne sera tenu responsable pour toute défectuosité du produit,
dommages ou blessures si ces instructions ne sont pas suivies
strictement.
3. MOUNT THE LEDBAR TO THE DESIRED MOUNTING LOCATION. IT IS
RECOMMENDED TO CLEAN THE SURFACE OF ALL CONTAMINANTS
BEFORE BOLTING ON THE BRACKETS.
A) THREAD THE LONG, THIN BOLTS THROUGH THE HOLE IN THE
BRACKET FEET AND THROUGH THE MOUNTING SURFACE, USING THE
INCLUDED NUT TO SECURE THE FITTING.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. REMOVE UNIT & INCLUDED HARDWARE
FROM PACKAGING.
4. ATTACH POSITIVE (RED) WIRE SECURELY TO A 12-24V FUSED POWER
SOURCE. EXTENSION OF THE WIRING MAY BE NECESSARY. USE OF
INCLUDED SPADE CONNECTORS OPTIONAL.
ENSURE POWER SOURCE IS ADEQUATE.
CAN BE WIRED INTO A SWITCH THAT WILL SUPPORT THE 4A @ 12V DC /
2.1A @ 24V DC
5. ATTACH BLACK GROUND WIRE TO A SAFE, CLEAN GROUND LOCATION.

BE SURE TO USE SAFETY GLASSES AT ALL
TIMES WHEN INSTALLING THIS PRODUCT.

6. ADJUST THE ANGLE OF THE LED
BAR SO THAT THE LIGHT OUTPUT IS
EVEN AND STRAIGHT.
7. TIGHTEN THE BOLTS ON EACH SIDE
TO LOCK IN THE AIMING ANGLE.

2. ATTACH MOUNTING BRACKETS AS SHOWN:
A) ALIGN THE HOLE IN THE BODY OF THE TERRABAR WITH THE HOLE IN
THE MOUNTING BRACKET - THE 'FOOT' OF THE BRACKET CAN FACE
EITHER TOWARDS OR AWAY FROM THE CENTER OF THE BAR
DEPENDENT UPON MOUNTING SURFACE PREFERENCE.
B) USING THE SHORT, WIDE SCREW (INCLUDED) AND FLAT WASHER,
ATTACH THE BRACKET TO THE BODY OF THE LEDBAR - LEAVE
SLIGHTLY LOOSE UNTIL THE LIGHT IS PROPERLY AIMED THEN TIGHTEN.
C) ATTACH THE REMAINING BRACKET TO THE OTHER SIDE AS IN (B)
