Input Wiring
Safety Overview
• RCA Connection:
• Common Audio Connections supplied typically for Mixers, and
• Compact Discs.
• XLR Connections:
• XLR is the Industry Standard Connectors for Microphones;
robust and relatively simple to install. There are several ways
to connect to the system.
• Balanced Operation:
• Pin 1 Connection to the Grid (Signal Ground)
• Pin 2 Connection to + signal (Live)
• Pin 3 Connection to - signal (Return)
• The Pin Number is identied on the XLR Connector. XLR Connections are
relatively easy to connect. X = Ground (Pin 1), L = Live (Pin 2)
and R = Return (Pin 3)
• Connect Jumper (XLR Plug) by the following order:
• Terminal (-2, Left) with (-1, Right) = Negative
• Terminal (+2, Top) with (+1, Bottom) = Positive
• 1/4” Mono Jack Connector:
• Tip = Signal (+)
• Connector Sleeve = Signal (-)
Before connecting the speaker, make sure the system is off, and the controls are on
the minimum level. If not set to minimum setting, the probability of damaging internal
components is extremely likely.
CAUTION:
Do not place the microphone against the speaker, it can cause feedback echo and it
will damage the system.
— Do not overheat the system
— Do not expose to direct heat for long periods of time
— Verify that the voltage switch is set to the corresponding voltage in your
country. (110 Volts default setting)
— When not in use, unplug the power cord, or switch off
— Use appropriate mounting brackets to avoid bodily harm
— Protect from any water or liquids
— Never try to repair unit yourself
— Keep out of reach of children, as there is high voltage and could
cause injuries.

(According to music)
Pairing a Bluetooth Device
The Alphasonik Speaker includes Bluetooth functionality, and as such, is congured
to automatically launch in “Discoverable Mode” upon launching the Bluetooth mode,
to make the device itself detectable by other Bluetooth-Enabled devices, such as a
mobile phone or tablet.
When in Discoverable mode, look for the device “Alphasonik”, then
connect. No PIN is required to initially pair your device with the speaker.
Once your device indicates a “Connected” status with the speaker, you may now begin
streaming audio from your device.
You can also control the Playback functions by using your device.
To pair with another device, you must rst “Un-pair” the last connected device. You can
also pair with a new device at startup.

Operation(Continued)
Charging the battery
• When not in use but connected to the main power supply, if the speaker is in the OFF
position, the internal battery will be re-charged.
• When fully charged, the CHARGE LED will turn off.
Powering the Unit On
• Turn the VOLUME, ECHO and MIC VOLUME controls down and turn the POWER
switch to the ON position.
• Switch VCV (voice controlled volume) off.
Using the VHF Wireless Microphones
1. Insert batteries into the hand-held microphones by carefully unscrewing the base of
each one and connecting the “+” and “-” terminals of the battery to the
corresponding clips inside the microphone body. Make sure to observe the
correct polarity.
2. With the VOL A and VOL B controls turned down, press the VHF ON/OFF button
inwards to the ON position so that the VHF POWER LED switches on. Each
wireless mic’s RF LEDs in turn - will iluminate as a result.
3. Gradually increase VOL controls, testing each microphone in turn for output through
the speaker.
4. Turning the ECHO control clockwise adjusts a pre-set echo function for singing and
special effects. BASS and TREBLE can be cut or lowered by turning
counter-clockwise or increased by turning clockwise.
5. When not in use, switch the wireless microphones off.
Using VCV Voice Control Volume Switch Function
• The VCV switch will prioritize the microphone over the music playback. When the
VCV is enabled the music will be muted when an announcement is made through the
microphone. This is very useful for announcements during a party,
Using the Remote Control
• In addition to the panel controls, an infra-red remote control is included for the
USB/SD/FM player which provides additional functions to allow greater control
over the media player.
• In order for the remote to function properly, ensure that it is pointed towards the front
of the system.
