AltRider Hemisphere Heat Shield

Apply the (2) red adhesive foam pads as shown on the back side of the heat
shield.
Open up the stainless steel hose clamp all the way and then feed it through the
two slots of the heat shield with the natural bend of the clamp following that
of the heat shield. Keep in mind that when you tighten the hose clamp it will
naturally pull on the slotted end. If you have a very narrow diameter exhaust,
leave lots of room on the slotted side when feeding the hose clamp into the
heat shield.
Fit up to your bike and tighten the hose clamp with a 8mm socket. You will need
to test t your luggage to make sure that the luggage is only touching the heat
shield and not some part of the hot exhaust pipe. Try to position the clamp so
that the fastener is hidden behind the exhaust when fully tightened. Adjust as
needed.
If you are installing this heat guard on a DIRT BIKE, or in between the ex-
haust and a fairing, see step #3.

If you are installing on a dirt bike or between the fairing and the exhaust, it is
much easier to dry t the shield before adding the hose clamp.
IMPORTANT - Test your setup with fully loaded luggage and make sure that the
bike is up to full temp as well. During rst o-road ride inspect at the 50 mile
mark to ensure all plastics and luggage are protected.

Limitation of Liability and Warranty Disclaimer
You may return your merchandise for a full refund or exchange, less any original or return shipping fees under these conditions:
1. Only if the merchandise is in 100% factory condition. Original manufacturer’s packaging and same condition as sold – original boxes, packaging
material, instructions, documentation, parts, and attached tags.
2. Only unused, unscratched, uninstalled, undamaged merchandise will be accepted. Do not install equipment until you are sure you want to keep
it. Package items carefully in protective materials before returning them. Never ship an item in its original manufacturers packaging – it will arrive
damaged. Please use a postal box or other adequate packaging to ensure your return or exchange is not damaged on the way back to AltRider.

Entire Agreement
This document states the entire obligation of AltRider with respect to the Product. If any part of this agreement is determined to be void, invalid,
unenforceable or illegal, including, but not limited to the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations set forth above, then the remainder of the agreement
shall remain in full force and eect.
Applicable Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of Washington, USA. You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts of Washington, USA, in
all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of this product.
