
Note:
• If pairing fails, turn off the speaker and repeat the pairing
process steps 1 through 6 mentioned above.
• After initial pairing, the speaker will automatically pair with the
last paired Bluetooth device.
• To pair the speaker with other devices, repeats steps 1 through 6
mentioned above.
• If the Bluetooth version of your cell phone is V2.1 and above,
you will not need to enter a pairing password as the speaker
and phone will match automatically.
Pairing the speaker with a Bluetooth transmitter
You can connect the speaker to a Bluetooth transmitter/dongle to
enjoy music wirelessly. The general pairing procedure is as follows:
1) Place the speaker and the Bluetooth transmitter where they are
easily viewable - no more than 3 feet apart;
2) Enter the speakers pairing mode (Please refer to “How to enter
pairing mode);
3) Turn on the Bluetooth transmitter. It will search for Bluetooth
devices automatically and send a pairing request;
4) When the speaker requests to enter a PIN No., the transmitter will
response “0000” automatically;
5) After successful pairing and connecting, the blue LED of the
speaker will flash twice quickly every 5 seconds.
Note:
• The pairing password of the speaker is “0000”. The speaker can
only pair with a Bluetooth transmitter with a matching pairing
password.
If pairing still fails after several tries, please refer to the Bluetooth
transmitter’s user’s manual for further instructions.
Multi-pairing
The speaker can connect with two devices at most. For instance you
can pair a cell phone supporting the Bluetooth HFP profile, and a
transmitter/dongle supporting the Bluetooth A2DP profile. To
multi-pair please refer to the following steps:
1) Firstly, pair the speaker with a Bluetooth transmitter (refer to
“Pairing the speaker with a Bluetooth transmitter);
2) Turn off the Bluetooth transmitter;
3) Pair and connect the speaker with a Bluetooth cell phone (refer
to “Pairing the speaker with a Bluetooth cell phone”).
4) Turn on the Bluetooth transmitter; it will connect to the speaker
automatically.
Note:
• For cell phone supporting the HSP and A2DP Bluetooth profiles,
pairing with the speaker will simultaneously include both profiles
and will not allow paring of an additional A2DP device.
3. Music playback
• Connecting to a Bluetooth A2DP cell phone or a Bluetooth
transmitter.
a) Make sure your cell phone or Bluetooth transmitter has already
established an A2DP connection with BTS001.
b) You can listen to your music from BTS001 while using your
Bluetooth cell phone or other Bluetooth music devices for
playback.
c) Adjust the volume: Short press and to adjust the
volume.
d) Pause/play: Press to pause music and press once more to
play music.
e) Previous/next song: Press to play previous song and press
to play next song.
3.5mm audio input
a) Connect your MP3 player using the 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable.
Insert one end into the input jack of BTS001 and the other end
into your music player’s headphone jack.
Note:
• When music is transmitted to BTS001 using the 3.5mm jack
socket, you cannot pause/play, play last /next song on BTS001.
• If you plug in a music player to the input socket of BTS001, the
Bluetooth function of BTS001 is invalid. If you want to use the
Bluetooth function of the BTS001, you have to unplug in 3.5mm
audio cable.
• If you plug in a music player to the input socket of BTS001 while it
is paired with a Bluetooth device, the Bluetooth device will
un-pair from the BTS001. When you unplug 3.5mm audio cable,
the BTS001 will re-pair to the last Bluetooth device.
4. Making calls with BTS001
When your cell phone is enabled with the Bluetooth profile HFP, and
paired with the BTS001, you can make calls and remotely control
calls using the BTS001.
1) Pair your cell phone with the BTS001. After successfully establish-
ing an HFP connection (Blue LED flashes once every 2 seconds),
you can make calls with BTS001.
2) Redial last number: Press and hold for 1 second.
3) Cancel calling: When calling, short press to cancel calling.
4) Answer call: When ringing, short press to answer call.
5) Reject call: When ringing, press and hold for about 2 seconds
to reject call.
6) End call: Short press to end call during a call.
