in accordance with Section 300.22 (C) and (D)
of the Nat ion al Electrical Code, and rules
12 -010 (3), (4), and (S), and 12-020 of the
Canadian Electrical Code , Part 1.
CAUTION: Installation must be done by qualified persons using safe rigging standards.
1. Thread Gripple onto cable (see inset
detail).
Pass overceiling anchor point
(as shown) or through other secure
anchor
point of the building structure.
Installer
is responsible for ensuring that
anchor point is secure to building
structure.

Make sure the
load is supported.
Use equipment only in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. Do not alter or modify.
Do
not use equipment if the equipment is not functioning correctly or if the equipment is defective

2. Pass tail end of cable through the
other channel ofthe Gripple (see
inset detail).
3. With speaker supported, snap main
support hook hanger onto the center hole
in the top bracket of the speaker. Adjust
to proper height by pulling cable through
either end of Gripple.
How to use Release Key to adjust height of speaker:

Insert key into
small hole at
top of Gripple.
Push in 1 /4" to
release the
cable.

4. Snap secondary support safetycable hook hanger
onto one of the side holes in the top bracket of the
speaker, and attach the top to a different ceiling support
point of the building structure, per Steps 1& 2. After
height adjustment isfinal, trim any unneeded extra cable
tail wires
with trimmer suitable for 2 mm (0.077 in )
diameter stranded aircraft-type cable.

and re-secure
the load.

-Gripple hangers must
not
be spliced together
using aGripplefastener, or any other
joining
device. A Gripple
hanger assembly must comprise one length
of
cable and one
Gripple fastener only.
If
a longerlength
is
needed,
do
not
attempt
to
join
two
assemblies together.
Limitations
of
use
-All
Gripple hangers, accessories,

otherGripple products mustonly be used for suspending items
recommended bythe manufacturer.
Painting -
If
painting, ensure thataGripple Decor Cover
is
applied
to
the
Gripple fastener before painting
to
protectfrom
the ingress
of
paint. Do
not
move
the
Gripplefastener on
the
cable after painting.
Building codes
-Compliance
with local codes, and where
applicable national codes,
is
the
buyerand/orinstallers
responsibility.
Notfor re-use -Gripple hangers are designed for permanent
installations,
not
for re-use.
Lubricants -Do
not
applyoil orany otherlubricant
to
any part
of
theassembly.
Notfor seismic bracing -For Gripple products
that
have been
tested and approved forseismic restraint applications, please
refer
to
the
Gripple Seismic product line.
Round duct/pipes
-When
wrapping around
duct
or otherround
pipes,
do
not
exceed
an
angle
of
60
degrees between the
top
of
the
pipe and
the
Gripple.
Environment
-Standard
Gripple hangers may be used
on
ly in
dry
locations. Stainless steel Gripple hangers may be used in
certain indoorcorrosive environments
suc
h
as
properly
ventilated swimming pool arenas.

is
a compact full-range,
two-way pendant-type loudspeaker that provides
superb
sound reproduction
and
very consistent,
wide coverage for rooms with
open
architecture
ceilings and other locations where a
pendant
form factor
is
desired.
