Getting to know your Smart Sticky Note Printer
Printing head with
automatic cutter
LED action button
Inside the box: printer, yellow thermal paper roll, AC power cable, power adapter
Eject button
1. Load the paper
Press down on the printer’s eject button. The printer’s lid will pop open. Lift up
the lid to load the paper roll (see illustration).
Remove the sleeve from the paper. Load the paper roll into the printer with the
sticky side facing the lid. Extend the paper beyond the lid and close it. You’ll hear a
‘click’ when it’s fully closed.
2. Set up your Smart Sticky Note Printer
Place your printer near a compatible Echo device.
Plug it into a power outlet using the included adapter. If you linked your printer to
your Amazon account during checkout, it will attempt to connect to your home Wi-Fi
network using your stored credentials.
To set up the printer manually, download and open the latest version of the Alexa
app from the app store. Log in with an existing Amazon account, or create a new
account. Tap the ‘More’ icon, then Add a Device > Printer. Choose ‘Amazon’ on the
next screen. Now, follow the onscreen directions to connect to your home Wi-Fi.
4. How to print
Once setup is completed, the printer can be placed in any stable place in your home
with good Wi-Fi coverage.
You can place your printer in a variety of places – on a kitchen counter, study desk, or
a home office.
The command for printing is “Alexa, print [what you want to print].”
Things to Try
Alexa can print your lists and more from your Smart Sticky Note Printer.
To print your lists from Alexa App
"Alexa, print my to-do list."
"Alexa, print my shopping list."
Want fun puzzles?
"Alexa, print a Sudoku puzzle."
"Alexa, print an easy maze."
Print your reminders
“Alexa, print a note, water plants at 8pm.”
“Alexa, print a note, ship package to Kelly.”
To discover more things to print
“Alexa, print a test page.”
3. Pairing with Alexa
Once your printer is connected to your home Wi-Fi, the LED action button light ring
will change from flashing orange to solid blue. Then say,
“Alexa, discover my printer.”
5. Troubleshooting
LED Action button error lights:
Flashing Red: The printer head is overheated. All printing will be suspended until the
printer cools down (usually takes about 5 minutes). The printer will resume working
automatically.
Solid Red: Paper error. Open the printer lid and make sure there is paper in the
printer. Check that the paper is loaded correctly, then close the lid.
Flashing Orange: The printer is attempting to connect to your Wi-Fi network. Your
printer can only connect to 2.4 GHz frequencies, not 5 GHz frequencies. To see if your
Wi-Fi network is configured correctly, double click the LED action button. A note will
print with the Wi-Fi connection status of your printer.
Solid Orange: Wi-Fi setup mode. Try using the Alexa app to manually connect your
printer to your Wi-Fi network. Open the Alexa app and log in with an existing Amazon
account, or create a new account. Tap the ‘More’ icon to add your printer.
Wi-Fi setup:
To return printer to Wi-Fi setup mode, press the LED action button (for about 5
seconds) until you hear four (4) buzzes . A note will print with instructions to follow.
Printer reset:
To reset printer to factory settings, remove the paper roll, press the LED action button
(for about 30 seconds) until you hear a double buzzer sound.
