VIDEO INDOOR STATION
Chapter 1 : Introduction
Welcome
Thank you for purchasing this Video Indoor Station.
Home Security is emphasized by the lifestyle of modern families. ID5101 features Home
Security for daily life on your community network. ID5101 lets you set security areas in
your house, and it helps to guard your home safe by sensing abnormal situations (CO,
Gas, and Emergency Button). Once alarm is triggered, three calls will automatically be
sent with Alarm Speech Announcement.
ID5101 allows you to view live video (Surveillance) up to 12 cameras, so you can see
what’s happening in other rooms and outside your house. Messages that include Alarm
Record, Visitor Record (pictures of visitors), Call Record, and Community Notice can be
read through your ID5101.
In addition, ID5101 is a SIP-based Video Indoor Station that supports several high quality
audio and video codecs. It acts like a SIP video phone that allows you to make (video)
phone calls to talk to your friends and neighbors with live images.

The Video Indoor Station includes two main features (Home Security and SIP Video Phone):
A. Features of Home Security
Home Security – Alarm for CO Sensor, Emergency Button, and Gas Detector
Security Area Enable/Disable with RFID Card
(RFID Internal Module, ISO 14443A Compliant/ 13.56 MHz)
Three Calls will be sent with Alarm Speech Announcement once alarm is triggered.
Connect up to 12 cameras for live Video (Surveillance)
Messages – Alarm Record, Visitor Record, Call Record, and Community Notice

The diagram shows that ID5101 can connect
to a variety of SIP devices such as IP video
phone, video door phone, video indoor
station and SIP Camera.
Besides Home Security, ID5101 allows you to
make video phone calls, answer door phone,
and view live video through SIP camera.

Due to the view angle of the camera is limited, therefore the installation position for Video Indoor Station is crucial. In order to get
a better view, the view angle of this door phone should be around 105. Also the height of the lens position is suggested at the
distance of 155cm according to building conditions. For more details, please refer to Diagram below.

Please reserve the space for junction wiring in the wall, you may refer to the embedded box dimension as diagram below.

VIDEO INDOOR STATION
Installing Procedures
1. Screw the Back Plate on the Wall
Please pull out the DC 12V wires and Ethernet cable pass through the back plate. Hence, connect with the Video Indoor Station after
screw the Back Plate on the wall.
If necessary, please connect the Earth wire to the screw as Figure below.
About the
safety/security
application
requirement, please
connect the control
wires with I/O cable
and put it in the
embedded box. And
then pull out the I/O
cables pass through
the back plate.

2. Connect the DC Wires and Ethernet Cable
Connect the DC wire of ID5101 to Power-Connecting connector, and connect Ethernet cable to ID5101 as Figure below.
Be careful when you are connecting the power wires, please check the power condition and turn off the general power switch before
you start to connect the wires.
Please connect DC wires as Figure below for the safety/security function.

output ports on the rear panel
of the ID5101. Connection and
applications are described more

3. Screw the Video Indoor Station with Back Plate.
After connecting the wires and cables properly, then screw the 2 screws that come with the package into the front panel. Please
double check all the installation procedures again, then you may power on the general power switch to start the configuration
procedures.
