RESET BUTTON
Reset Button is located on the right side of P5
body (illustrated above).
1. To short press the reset button (for
approximately 3 secs) for resetting the
device into static IP status. The recovered
static IP is defined as 192.168.0.50.
2. To long press the reset button (for about 6
secs) for recovering the device into factory
default status (DHCP mode).

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
The installation of AMROAD P5 can be divided
into three main parts; there are main body
fixations, wire connecting and front panel
attachment separately.
In terms of the fixation of main body, the users
can screw the AMROAD P5 onto the wall
directly (as shown as Method_1 below). If
users don’t want to drill holes in the wall, they
can also fix the Amroad P5 onto a wall rack
which has been screwed on an existing (square)
junction box (please check the illustration of
Method_2 shown below).
When Method_2 has been chosen, the users
need to attach (square) junction box onto the
wall following recommended height (146cm
away from the finished surface.
NOTE:The screw-holes of the junction box
need to be placed horizontally.

METHOD – 1
The determination of the drilling hole
position
The distance between the bottom of a junction
box and the bottom of AMROAD P5 should
not be less than 10 mm.

Drilling
The users need to drill two 5mm holes in the
wall, and the distance between these two
holes is 141 mm.

The use of signal cable (DI/DO) and power
cable need to meet the range between 20 to 24
AWG BVR.

The recommended length of bare wire is within
the range between 10 to 12 mm.

Operation
1. Press the hex key into the hole lightly.
2. Keep pressing the hex key and put the wire
into the side hole simultaneously.
3. Release the hex key.

FRONT PANEL ATTACHMENT
1. To buckle two tenons onto the upper body
of AMROAD P5.
2. To press the front panel down
3. To ensure the bottom of front panel is
fasten onto the P5 body.
Notes :
1. A transparent cover is designed for
protecting the device while installation,
the residents are free to remove it when
they are officially move in.
2. If users need to take the front panel off
the P5 body, please release the bottom
part of the front panel first.

APPLICATION
Magnetic Sensor
AMROAD P5 provides 3D1 and 1DO for
extensional applications purposes.
Amroad has provides a Web interface for
configuring these DI & DO setting.
In terms of the practical wiring diagram
has been provided above.
