1. Getting Started
Congratulations on your purchase of our AMROTEC® YB-130A
Heavy-Duty Coin Counter. Important! Save the original Box and all packing
material for future shipping needs. Before you operate the machine, please
read this manual carefully.
Do not operate the machine until you understand the contents of this
document. Should you have any questions, please contact with your local
distributor or sales agent for further advice.
WARNING ITEMS!
Installation
Do not turn over or subject the machine to strong impact.
Select a level place, which is not subject to vibrations for installation of the machine since
there is risk of machine being tipped over by strong vibrations.
Avoid installing in place with high humidity or where water may drip on the machine.
Use the machine where as outset is provided nearby and power supply plug can be easily
taken out.
Do not drop the machine. Dropping of the machine may cause breakdown of the machine
or pose risk of fire and other damages.
Power Supply
Use the ac cord attached to the main unit.
The machine should only be connected to main socket with proper grounding and correct
voltage.
Please turn off the power switch and unplug the power cord before open the covers if
needed or when the machine is not in use.
Be sure your hands are dry when removing the plug.
Installing Near Flammable Inhibited
DO NOT INSTALL THE MACHINE WHERE EXPOSED OILY SMOG AND
STREM SUCH AS NEAR THE COOKING TABLE AND HUMIDIFIER. SUCH
MAY CAUSE FIRES OR RECEIVING OF ELECTRIC SHOCKS.

2. Introduction
AMROTEC® YB-130A heavy-Duty Coin Counter is mainly used for counting and sorting
Coins in Banks, Retail Stores, Amusement Facilities, payphone business. You can easily roll
or bag counted coins into standard paper wrappers or coin bags using the accessories
provided. Two independent adjustments for Coin Diameter and Thickness knob make
YB-130A Series Universal. The YB-130A is the perfect solution for fast, accurate and
reliable coin counting.

Built-In Large Hopper, Easier to use, with and Innovative Sleek Design for Customer Appeal. Model
YB-130A will release your from troublesome work that requires superb accuracy & faster speed. In
addition to normal counting, adding and batching, this model can also provide advanced functions
such as memory storage and last count display, automatic stop and automatic reverse to remove
jammed coins. It can continuously count and preset counting number. Various different types of
coins can be separately added up and stored. Some of the important features of YB-130A:

The solenoid is designed with temperature protector, which will keep the main control board
from breaking down and ensure safety of the machine.

Adopt the optical coupler to assure accurate counting result.
3.
Coin guide system is processed with hard chrome plating-hardness reaching HRC60°.

Using IC with microcomputer printed, it assures with more stable and more precise.
5.
Adjustable structure in diameter and thickness makes this coin counter available for various
denominations.

6. Operating Instruction
PREPARATION:
Before plug-in for power supply, make sure of the right voltage specification
for this machine.
Adjust the diameter knob and the thickness knob for the coins to be counted.
If different sizes of coins to be counted at the same time, start with the ones
having the largest diameter.
Select the diameter knob for the coins to be counted. (Fig. 1)
Load the rejected coin box. (As shown in Fig.3)
Use clamp to hold the coins loading bag onto the coin chute of this machine.
(As shown in Fig.2)
Feed the coins: pour the coins into the hopper while looking for any
foreign material or distorted coins to prevent from jamming.
Turn on the power Switch ON. All the indicators on the display will be on
lasting for three seconds to leave only the [∞] LED while the counting
display will appear “0”.
Note: If the display is dim and the [∞] LED blinks after power is turned on, it
indicates the sensor is blocked. Refer to the “Troubleshooting for Jam”.

6. Operating Instruction
1. Continuous Counting Mode
When the machine is first turned on, display automatically shows the previous
individual counting result which saved in the memory. This is not the accumulated
count results (grand Total), but the individual last count.
For example:
a. The previous counting was under 【∞】continuous function. When the
machine is turned on again, last counting number appear on the bottom 4
digits LED.
To press 【C】key for the accumulated count which is grand total of all
individual counts automatically saved in the memory.
b. The previous counting is under 【S/B】set batch function. When the
machine is turned on again, the top line 5 digits disappear and the bottom
line 4 digits LED shows last preset batch number.
To press 【C】key for the accumulated count any time.
Last batch was set to 10.

2. 【S/B】Batch Counting Mode
a. Press【START】for counting.
b. The machine will automatically stop when the counting reaches the set
number. Bath number flashes on the display.
c. Press 【C】key to show the accumulated count anytime.
d. Press 【START】to continue the batch counting. (When the machine
resume counting, the top line 5 digits LED disappears and the bottom line 4
digit appear the counting number and continue counting until batch number
reached.)
e. Press 【S/B】Key to show the Preset batch number.
3. 4 Digits Count Display shows Last Count when machine turns on and user can
continue counting from the last count. Press 【C】key to show the accumulated
count on the 9 digits Count display at any time
4. To press 【∞】key , then press simultaneously both 【∞】key and【C】key
to clear the accumulated count number.
5. In 【∞】continuous function, each individual count will be accumulated
automatically and saved to the memory. Press 【C】key to show the
accumulated count at any time.

7. Maintenance
1. Keep off any oiling to all parts within this machine to free the belt from damage
and coins from getting slippery during operation.
2. Dirt and /or sediments may well be unavoidable to accumulate within the
machine after a certain time of counting operation. Thus, it is recommended to
regularly clean the wheel, coin path and sensor with a brush while doing the
inspection (as show in Fig.12)
3. In case that belt gets slippery, use a piece of cloth dipped with benzene to wipe
the belt.
4. Check for worn belt. If wear occurs, replace one to warrant smooth operation.

8. Trouble Shooting
In case there are coins in the coin wheel but no coins are discharged from the coin
chute, press [STOP], then press [REV.]. If still fails, refer to the following
instructions:
1. Check if the coin diameter knob and coin thickness knob are properly adjusted at
the proper position.
2. In case various coins with different sizes are to be counted at the same time,
make sure to start with the ones with largest diameter.
3. Open up the lid, push forward the connecting rod (Paint in red) and pull up the
thickness control knob to remove the distorted coin or foreign material.
Reassemble in reverse order after clear off. (As shown in Fig.8, 9, 10)
4. Or, turn counterclockwise the coin diameter knob to let the coins be discharged
from the rejected coin box when done, then readjust the coin diameter knob to its
proper position.
Note:
It is strongly suggested to have the coins checked before loading to save the
complicated trouble shooting in the event of any distorted, or damaged coins
and other foreign material invade into this machine.

9. Limited Warranty
Congratulations on the purchase of our AMROTEC® YB-130A Heavy-Duty Coin Counter.
This machine is warranted by the manufacturer for a period of 1 (One) Year from the delivery
date to distributor, against defects due to faulty workmanship or materials. This warranty does
not cover normal wear of parts or damages resulting from any of the following: negligent use
or misuse of the product, use on improper voltage or current, use contrary to operating
instructions or disassembly, repair or alteration by any person other than an authorized service
center.
Parts repair or replacement under this warranty is only provided upon presentation of
reasonable evidence that the date of the claim is within the warranty period and warranty
guideline has been satisfied. To obtain warranty for AMROTEC® YB-130A Coin Counter,
you may contact your distributor or sales representative.
