Additional safety features when using the pressure
cooking function:
1. Thelockingpinwillpreventthelidfrombeing

(poundspersquareinch).
2. Whencookingunderlowpressure,theunitwill
automaticallyshutoffifpressureexceeds5psi.
3. Whencookingunderhighpressure,theunitwill
automaticallyshutoffifpressureexceeds10psi.
4. Thepressureregulatorknobwillbeforcedupward
toreleasesteam/pressurewhentheunitreaches
13psi.Ifthisfunctionfailsandtheunitreaches
18psi,thefloatingvalvewillbeforcedtorelease
steam/pressure.
NOTE: In the event that the two safety valves fail and pressure
continues to build up to 27.5 psi, the inner cooking pot will be forced
down, creating a gap between the lip of the inner pot and the silicone
gasket, allowing the steam/pressure to escape.
Boil Dry & Overheat safety features:
Ifthereisnowaterinthepotduringpressurecooking
orintheeventofoverheatingusingotherfunctions,
thecookerwillautomaticallyswitchoffandbeep3
times.“E3”willappearonthedisplaypanel.Afterthe
cookerhascooleddown,0:0willappearonthe
displaypanelandyoucanresumeusingthecooker.
Cleaning/Maintenance Tips:
1. Unplugandlettheunitcoolbeforecleaning.
2. Washtheremovablecookingpotwithwarmsoapy
water.Rinseanddrythoroughly.
3.Wipetheouterhousingandlidwithacleancloth.
Donotsubmergeinwater.
4. Removethecondensationreservoirbypulling
down.Cleanwithwarm,soapywater.Rinseanddry
thoroughly.Replacebypushingup.
5. Turnthelidupsidedown,graspthesiliconegasket
oneithersideandpullup.Cleanthesiliconegasket
inwarmsoapywater.Rinseanddrythoroughly.
Replacethegasketbypushingitdowninsidethe
edgeofthelid.Makesurethegrooveinthecentre
ofthegasketispositionedaroundthemetalringon
theinsideedgeofthelid.Ifthegasketisnot
positionedproperly,theunitwillnotwork.
6. Inordertomaintaingoodperformanceofyour
cooker,thebottomoftheremovablecookingpotin
theareaofthesensorpadmustbecleanedafter
eachuse.Wipewithasoftdampclothandbesure
todrythoroughly.
7. Neveruseabrasivecleanersorscouringpadto
cleananyoftheparts.
NOTE: The silicone gasket must always be properly positioned on the
underside of the lid. Check periodically to make sure that it is clean,
flexible and not cracked or torn. If silicone gasket is damaged, replace
it before using the cooker.
Storage instructions:
Storethecookerwiththelidrestingupsidedownon
theremovablecookingpot.Thiswillprotectthevalves,
knobsandpressureregulatoratthetopofthelid.If
thecookerisstoredwiththelidsealed,staleodours
maydevelopinside.
Cleaning the pressure regulator knob:
Checkthatthepressureregulatorknobandthe
pressuresafetyvalvesareingoodworkingorder
beforeeachuse.
1. Aftertheunithascooled,removethelid.
2. Pressdownandturnthepressureregulatorknob
counterclockwisepasttheSTEAMsettingand
carefullyremove.
3. Turnthelidoverandplaceonatabletop.Pullout
theanti-blockingcase.Usingabrush,checkand
removeanyfoodorforeignparticlesthatmaybe
lodgedinthefloatingvalve.Replacetheanti-
blockingcase.
4. Replacethepressureregulatorknobbyliningthe
notchesuptotheinsidewallofthepressure
regulatorchamberinthelidandturnclockwise.
