WARNING
This product is non-explosion proof. Do not install or use the product in an atmosphere or place where flammable gases or solvents are handled.
Otherwise, ignition or explosion may result.
This product generates ozone. Do not use it in an enclosed space.
Otherwise, the ozone concentration in the enclosed space may increase, resulting in the development of chronological bronchitis, etc.
A high voltage is applied to the electrode needle. Do not put any conductive objects such as fingers, body, wires and tools closer to
the electrode needle. Failure to do so may cause an electric shock or malfunction.
The electrode needle has a pointed tip. Handle it with care. Failure to follow may result in bodily injury.
■
Cautions
This product is designed and manufactured as parts for use in general industrial machinery.
Do not use this product for any purpose other than neutralization (neutralizing static electricity).
Do not install the product in a closed place, but install it in a well-ventilated place.
Do not disassemble or modify the product.
Do not remove the bush inside the nozzle before use. The static elimination (neutralization) effect is reduced.
Be sure not to put any foreign matter inside this product. Failure to avoid may cause a short circuit or electric leakage, resulting in a fire or electric shock.
If there is an abnormal noise or odor, smoke or heat, immediately turn off the power, unplug the power cable, and contact the distributor or the place of purchase.
If it is continuously used, there is a risk of fire or electric leakage.
Do not splash water on this product. Splashing water, washing, or using the product underwater may cause an injury, electric shock, or fire due to abnormal operation.
Do not touch the electrode needle directly.
If the power is turned on immediately after turning off the power of the product, an anomalous output occurs. When turning ON after turning OFF, provide the time
interval of 1 second or longer.
Do not wire in parallel with power lines or high-voltage lines or use the same piping. There is a risk of malfunction due to induction noise.
Do not use the attached cable for moving parts as it may break.
Do not damage the attached cable. If the cable is damaged, forcibly bent, pulled, wound, placed under a heavy object, or pinched, it may cause a fire, electric shock,
or abnormal operation due to electric leakage or conduction failure.
Do not connect or disconnect the connector while the power is on. Also, do not apply unnecessary stress to the connector. It may cause injury, damage to the device,
electric shock, and etc. due to malfunction of the device.
If the product will not be used for a long period of time, turn off the power for safety.
■
Overview
This product is an air gun type electrostatic eliminator. It can be used freely by holding it in hand.
The gun is equipped with a high-voltage power supply and an air valve, which does not require any external controller.
Ionized air is blown onto the electric-charged body to quickly and effectively neutralize the static electricity of the charged body and prevent the reattachment of dust
due to static electricity.

Wiring and piping
WARNING
Be sure to turn off air and power supplies when installing and connecting this product.
CAUTION
This product is a high-voltage device. Do not install or use it in a place exposed to water or oil, or in a hot or humid place.
If air containing water or oil is used, the inside of the main unit or the nozzles will become dirty, lowering the electrostatic elimination performance and
causing deterioration of the main unit.
Secure a work space when installing this product. Also, secure enough space to remove the AC adapter and cable.
Installation
This product is an electrostatic eliminator that can be freely used by holding it in hand, but it is convenient to install it by a method such as hanging the main body.
The hook can be rotated every 90 degrees. Change the orientation of the hook as necessary.

Wiring
Wire the main unit (gun) and AC adapter according to the connection diagram as shown below.
This product, SER-24, consists of an electrostatic eliminator and an AC adapter. AC adapter is not connected. Connect as shown above by the
customer before use.
Connect the power input cable of the main unit (gun) to the AC adapter.
Connect the AC adapter to a power outlet (AC100V to 240V 50/60Hz).
Piping
Connect the main unit according to the connection diagram as shown above.
Attach an air tube (O.D. 6mm) to the air fitting (push-in fitting) at the bottom of the gun and connect it to the air equipment (air compressor, blower).
Use clean air (air that does not contain water or oil).
■
Operation
WARNING
Do not use the product with the nozzle pointing toward the animal, human body, especially face or eyes. Failure to follow this may result in bodily injury. Also,
use protective goggles, masks to prevent dust from hitting a face or getting into eyes due to bounceback. There is a danger of loss of eyesight due to dust, etc.
It is recommended to wear ear plugs for health and safety. The noise level may be 80dB (A) or more depending on the operating conditions and the working
environment.
Be sure to supply air when using this product. If the power is turned on without supplying air, the internal ozone concentration will increase due to the electric
discharge, which may adversely affect the equipment and the environment.
Never make the nozzle at the gun tip, which is connected to the internal circuit touch any conductor or live cable. It may cause electric shocks or malfunction.
CAUTION
Piezoelectric ceramics are built into the air gun. Avoid dropping or impacting. It will be the cause of the failure.
Do not use other than the genuine nozzle. Otherwise, the neutralization (static electricity elimination) effect may not be obtained, or damage may result.
Operation
1) Open the main valve of the air equipment (installed by the customer) and supply air with the specified pressure to the main body.
2) Hold the main unit with hand, point the nozzle tip toward the workpiece (object charged with static electricity to be processed), and firmly grasp the lever of the
gun (main unit) until the main unit indicator lamp lights. Ionized air is blown out from the nozzle, static electricity of charged objects placed in the air flow is
neutralized and eliminated, and dust adhering to charged objects is removed.
Normal air is blown out from the wave motion air nozzle to remove the adhered dust.
3) Loosen the hand grip and return the lever of the gun (main unit) to shut off the ionized air.
4) When stopping the operation of product, stop supplying power to the AC adapter and stop the main valve of air.

Maintenance and inspection
WARNING
Be sure to turn off the air and power before performing maintenance. Failure to follow this may cause an accident or malfunction.
The tip of the electrode needle is pointed. Be very careful when cleaning it.
If water, oil or paint, etc., adheres to the product, wipe it off with a cloth, etc. In particular, if it adheres to the electrode needle or the inside of nozzle, wipe it off
immediately.
If the electrode needle becomes dirty, the static elimination performance will deteriorate. When the static elimination effect gradually decreases, remove the nozzle
and clean the electrode needle and the area around the electrode needle with a cloth or brush.
Clean the needle regularly every two weeks. Failure to follow this may result in a failure of the product because the ability to eliminate static electricity will not be
fully performed.
Clean the inside of the nozzle if dirt accumulates.
The electrode needle is a consumable part. It deteriorates in performance due to wear, etc. after long-term use, and must be replaced periodically. Replace the
electrode needle every 20,000 hours of use as a guide.
How to clean the electrode needle and its surroundings
Rotate the nozzle and remove it from the main body. Clean the electrode needle and its surroundings inside the main unit (gun) with a cotton swab soaked with
alcohol (IPA). If dirt adheres to the tip of the electrode needle, the static elimination effect will be reduced. After cleaning, attach the nozzle firmly.
How to replace the electrode needle
The electrode needle a consumable part and must be replaced. When replacing the electrode needle, be sure to use the screwdriver for the electrode needle (sold
separately) in combination, and set the tightening torque to 15 to 2.0 N-cm at the time of replacement. If the torque is not correct, the screws of the main unit may
be damaged.
