INSTRUCTIONS FOR CONNECTING
ANRITSU 3671V50-X CABLES TO ANRITSU 37000 SERIES VNA
These cables (Figure 1) extend the VNA Port 1 and
Port 2 connectors such that the test port is effectively
moved to the ends of the 3671V50-X cable.
Instructions for connecting these cable are provided
below.
Required Equipment
1/2 inch wrench (Anritsu 01-202 or equivalent
thin 1/2-inch open-end wrench)
3/4-inch open-end wrench
Step 1. Using the 1/2-inch wrench, carefully re-
move the test ports from Port 1 and Port
2 (Figure 2). The ports are labeled
“34YV50.”
Step 2. Very carefully install the 34YV50 ports to
the male end of the 3671V50 cable (no vis-
ible center conductor). Hold the cable us-
ing a 3/4-inch wrench, and tighten the the
34YV50 using the 1/2-inch wrench (Figure
3). Do not over-torque.
