Ant - Spiral Tower

User Manual
The Ant Spiral Tower made of high quality acrylic is used to bridge the height from the ant arena to
the ant farm and additionally offers the ants a lot of walking distance on a compact area. The additional
walking distance simulates the paths that ants have to cover in nature to their food sources and can
have a positive effect on the development and behavior of the ant colony.
The set includes:
●2x bottom / top plate
●2x hose access
●4x hose column
●10x clamping pin
●Size: S - 20 = 5 m hose 10/06 mm
M - 20 = 5 m hose 14/10 mm
L - 20 = 4 m hose 20/16 mm
S - 30 = 7 m hose 10/06 mm
M - 30 = 7 m hose 14/10 mm
L - 30 = 5 m hose 20/16 mm

Construction
Step 1 - Unpacking
First, open the packaging with scissors or a knife. Be especially careful not to damage any of the
individual parts. Take out all the parts and check that everything is included.
Step 2 - Remove foil
Remove the protective foil from all
components.
Make sure that you also remove
remove all remnants,
otherwise you will have
a hard time when connecting
the hose.

Step 3 - Assemble
Before assembling, you need to know exactly how you want your ant spiral tower to look in the end,
because it can be assembled in many different ways.
Note: If you make a mistake or want to use the spiral tower in a different combination later, you can
easily disassemble it again.
First, you take one of the two floor/ceiling plates
and place it in front of you. At the corner of the floor/deck plate
the hose access is plugged in. This is possible on both sides,
depending on how it fits to your formicarium.
You fix the tube access with a clamping pin.
Then you insert the four hose columns,
with the recesses for the hose facing outwards, into the
Bottom / top plate and fix them with clamping pins as well.

Now take the second
bottom/deck plate and
insert the hose access here
like with the first,
and fix it with a
clamping pin. Again, make sure
to use the right variant
for your formicarium.
Place the second base/cover plate on the four tube columns from above. Press everything firmly and
now fix the hose columns with the remaining four clamping pins. Check again if everything is fixed and
if the position of your hose accesses is correct.
