2.1 INPUT CONNECTIONS
Connect source components an recor er accor ing to the iagrams in the following pages. If using a
turntable, connect it to PHONO input only. If the turntable is equippe with a groun wire, connect it to the
groun terminal next to the PHONO input by unscrewing the terminal then inserting wire an tightening the
screw terminal onto the wire.
Do not us “RCA-compatibl ” conn ctors that hav a hollow c nt r pin with a hol at th tip. Ins rting
th m into th Int grat d 225’s RCA jacks can caus int rnal damag .
2.2 SPEAKER CONNECTIONS
Depen ing on the level of the input signal, the voltage at the outputs can be high enough to cause electric
shock – be sure that power is turne off when connecting or isconnecting anything. As well, be sure that
the speakers are rate for use with this amplifier – an over riven speaker can pose a fire hazar .
Connect the re (+) connection on the speaker to the re (+) bin ing post on the amplifier, an the black (–)
connection on the speaker to the black (–) bin ing post on the amplifier using cable that is insulate to
han le the maximum output of the amplifier. Do not overtighten the bin ing posts as this may cause amage.
The bin ing post pair accepts a connection from one speaker.
2.3 TRIGGER
This feature allows the amplifier to be turne on or off remotely via the trigger. The 3.5mm (.125”) mini-jack
INPUT receives a 12V signal from an upstream component or system controller. The same trigger signal can
be linke to other components through the OUTPUT.
2.4 INFRA-RED RECEIVER
External IR receivers allow the Remote Control to be use from other locations in your home. Once an IR
receiver is wire to another room, connect it to I.R. RECEIVER IN. The signal can be linke to other
components through I.R. RECEIVER OUT.
2.5 POWER
After the system is connecte use the supplie power cor to connect power. It is normal for a “click” to be
hear from insi e the chassis when connecting power.

3.1 POWER ON/OFF
Power on is in icate when the LED above the from panel power button is lit.
Front panel – power ON/OFF
•Press POWER in the lower left of the front panel.

3.2 SOURCE SELECTION
Select a source by pressing one of the following buttons:

3.3 VOLUME CONTROL

3.4 BALANCE CONTROL
If the center of the soun stage is off-center, rotate the balance control in the irection that the
soun stage nee s to be move . The center position is the efault.
3.5 TONE CONTROL
To a just the bass an /or treble level, rotate the Bass an Treble
knobs on the front panel. The center position is the efault. If an
a justment is ma e, you can press TONE on the front panel or remote
to quickly turn the a justment on/off without having to return the
knobs to the center position – the in icator above the button lights when the controls are efeate .
It is normal for a “click” to be hear from the chassis when pressing Power, Mute, or a source button.

The warranty perio begins on the ate of purchase from Anthem or an Authorize Anthem Dealer. If Anthem etermines
that the pro uct has a efect in materials or manufacturing uring the warranty perio Anthem will at its option repair,
replace or provi e the necessary replacement parts without charging for parts or labor. Repaire or replace equipment
or parts supplie un er this warranty are covere by the unexpire portion of the warranty.
This warranty is transferable only if the re-sol pro uct is purchase from an Authorize Anthem Dealer. Display
pro ucts sol by an Authorize Anthem Dealer are covere by the same warranty except that the perio commences on
the ate of the ealer invoice, not the purchaser’s invoice, an cosmetic flaws are exclu e .
Warranty is voi if the serial number has been remove , altere or eface , if the pro uct has been operate , installe
or han le other than in accor ance with the inten e application, tampere with, mo ifie , or amage by acci ent,
while in transport or by failure of electric power, or has been repaire by a non-authorize party. Anthem shall have no
obligation to correct any efect that is not repro ucible by Anthem. If inspection by Anthem iscloses that the repair
require is not covere by this warranty, regular repair charges shall apply.
