●Theexternaltemperaturesensordisplays248to252degrees.
●Thesettemperatureanddisplayedactualtemperatureofthesoldering
ironis300degrees.
●300—248=52.Anadditionaladjustmentof52degreesisrequired.
●Entercalibrationmode
●Weincreasefrom“0000”to“0052”.
●Exitcalibrationmode.
●Theexternaltemperaturesensorwouldnowdisplay298to302degrees.
NOTES:
●Thecalibrateddataissavedintothememoryanshallremaineffective
untilitisrecalibratedagainornewdataisentered.
●If the maximum of70 degrees has already been added or subtracted
pressing the air pressure down button would not exit from calibration
mode.Insteadturningoffthesolderingironfunctionswitchwouldexit
fromthecalibrationmode.
●Ifthemaximumof70degreeshasalreadybeenadded,increasingfur
therthetemperatureoffset wouldnotbeallowedbutsubtractingtem
perature offset would be available. Andconsequently when the maxi
mum of70 degreeshas already been subtracted, decreasingthe tem
peratureoffsetfurtherwouldbedisabledbutincreasingthetemperature
offsetwouldbeallowed.
●Calibrationwillonlymakethenewlycalibratedpointthemostaccurate.
Othertemperaturepointsmaybealittleoff.
●The solderingIron has a lowest temperature limit such that when the
temperaturehasbeensetto200degreeswithexternalactualtempera
turealsoshowing200degrees,furtherdecreasingthetemperatureoff
setwouldbeonlyhaveminimaleffecttotheactualtemperature.
●To reset the calibration settings to factorysetting, switchoffandonthe
unit and while the product banner is scrolling press and hold thehotair tem
peratureupbuttonuntilthebannerfinishesscrolling,theSet/Temperaturecali
brationoftheunitwouldreverttoitsdefaultfactorysetting.
