Installation

Do not usethis apparatus near water.
Clean only witha dry cloth.
Do not bolckany ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the
Manufacturer s instructions.
Do not install nearany heat sources suchas radiators, heat registers
,stoves, or other apparatus(includingamplifiers) that produce heat.
Do not defectthe safety purpose of the polarizedplug. Apolarized plug
has two bladeswith one wider than the other . The wide blade is
provided for your safety. If the providedplug does not fitinto your outlet,
consult an electrician forreplacement of the obsoleteoutlet.
Protect the powercord from being walked on or pinched particularly at
plugs, convenience receptacles,and the point where they exit from the
apparatus.
Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
Use only withthe cart , stand , tripod,bracket, or
table specified by themanufacturer, or soldwith
the apparatus. Whena cart is used, use caution
when moving thecart/ apparatus combination
Toavoid injury from tip-over.
Unplug this apparatusduring lightning storms or when unused for long
period of time.
Refer all servicingto qualified service personnel. Servicing is required
when the apparatushas been damaged in any way, such aswhen the
power-supply cord or plugis damaged, liquid hasbeen spilled, objects have
fallen into theapparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or
moisture, or whenthe unit does not operate normally , or has been dropped.
The apparatus shall notbe exposed to drippingor splashing and noobjects
filled with liquids, suchas vases, shall beplaced on the apparatus.
Power cord protection-To avoidany malfunctions of theunit and to protect
against electric shock,fire or personal injury, pleaseobserve the following:
a) Hold the plugfirmly when connecting or disconnecting the AC power
cord to this unit.
b) Do not connect ordisconnect the ACpower cord with wethands.
c) Keep the ACpower cord away fromheating appliances.
d) Never put anyheavy object on the AC power cord.
e) Do not attemptto repair or reconstruct the AC power cord in any way.
Remote dust, dirt ,etc. on the plugat regular intervals.
If the unithas been dropped or otherwise damaged, turn off the power and
disconnect theAC power cord.
If smoke ,odors or noises are emittecd fromthe unit , turn off thepower and
disconnect theAC power cord.
Placement-Avoid placing theunit in areas of direct sunlight, heating
radiators, closed automobiles,high temperature (over 35 C(95 F)), high
humidity (over 90%), excessivedust, vibration, impact orwhere the surface
is titled, asthe internal parts may be seriously damaged.
Non-use periods- When theunit is not used,turn the power off.
When the unitis unused for a long period of time, the unit should be
unplugged from the householdAC outlet.
No fingers orother objects inside-Touching internal parts of this unit is
dangerous and may causeserious damage to theunit. Do not attemptto
disassemble the unit.
Do not putany foreign objecton the disc tray.
Keep away from waterand magnets.
Keep the unitaway from flower vases, tubs, sinks, etc. If liquids are spilled
into the unit,serious damage could occur.
Keep magnetic objects,such as speakers, distant from the player.
Stacking-Place the unitin a horizontal position and do not place anything
heavy on it.
Do not place theunit on amplifiers orother equipment which maybecome
hot.
Condesation-Moisture may formon the lens in the following cases:a)
immediately after aheater has been turned on b) in a steamy or very humid
room c)the unitis moved from a cold environment to a warm one.
If moisture formsinside this unit, itmay not operate properly. In this case ,
turn off thepower and waitabout one hour for the moisture to evaporate.
Noise interference whilea broadcast is being received. Depending on the
reception condition ofTV, interference may appear on the TVscreen while
you are watchinga TV broadcast, if the units is switched on . This is not a
malfunction of the unitor the TV. To watch aTV broadcast , turnoff this unit.
Use of controlsor adjustment or performance of procedures other than
those specified herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure.
Polarization- This videoproduct is equipped with a polarized alternating -
current line plug.This plug will fit into the power outlet, try reversing the
plug. If theplug still fails to fit, contactyour electrician to replace your
obsolete outlet. To prevent electric shock, do not use this polarized plug
with an extensioncord, receptacle, or other outlet unless the blades can be
fully inserted without bladeexposure. If you needan extension cord, usea
