WARNING, CARE & MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT NOTICE
This is not an instruction training manual, nor does it eliminate the necessity for
obtaining professional training instruction in the operation of drywear. The user is
therefore advised to obtain such instructions as well as familiarizing him/herself with
the information contained in this manual prior to water-borne operations of any drywear.
WARNING
Improper use or misuse of this drywear could result in exposure to thermal hazards,
including rapid body overheating or cooling, resulting in stroke or seizure. This drywear
has no inherent buoyancy. Always wear an approved personal otation device (PFD)
when wearing drywear. A neckseal that is too tight may restrict blood ow to the brain
resulting in serious injury.
GENERAL CARE & MAINTENANCE
Your drywear has been designed to provide the highest degree of mobility,
temperature versatility and durability. Manufactured with the nest quality materials
and over 50 years of design and production excellence. Your drywear has been
individually inspected and tank tested before it leaves the factory to ensure the highest
performance quality.
From time to time your drywear, including zippers and seals, may require professional
service.
Your drywear should be inspected after every use. If, for any reason, it is suspected
that service is required, discontinue use and have it evaluated and/or serviced by an
authorized repair technician.
A little effort goes a long way to keeping your drywear in top form. Familiarization of
care and maintenance procedures as well as the warranty information is important,
detailed information is provided in the following pages.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
WRIST SEAL CARE
Avoid sharp objects (rings, earrings, ngernails) as they may tear the seal. Avoid
contact with petroleum based products such as lotions and petroleum based silicone
lubricants as they will deteriorate the seals. Extended exposure to sunlight will damage
seals. Extreme cold may stiffen seals. Make sure the seals are warmed up to room
temperature before attempting to stretch. For lubrication, baby powder, talcum powder
and cornstarch are recommended.
LATEX WRIST SEALS: If your drysuit is outtted with latex seals and tears, they can be
repaired. See an authorized Aqua Lung dealer for the repair. Over time, latex seals can
dry out and crack. For extended life, apply seal saver.
DRY ZIPPER CARE
Keep dry zipper clean from sand and debris by spraying with clean fresh water after
every use. Stubborn debris lodged in the zipper can be removed with a soft toothbrush
and mild hand or dish soap.
When closing or opening the dry zipper, avoid catching undergarment and/or drywear
fabric material in the zipper teeth. If the zipper slider becomes jammed, do not continue
pulling. Back zipper up and clear debris or clothing. Do not force the zipper. Tip: Place
thumb under the zipper slide as the zipper is being closed. If the zipper does not slide
smoothly, check for obstructions.
Keep zippers well lubricated. Use recommended lubrication provided. Store drywear
with the zipper in the open position. Be sure not to fold the dry zipper back on itself
when storing your drywear (see the "folding/storing drywear" section).
EXHAUST VALVE CARE
If your drysuit is outtted with an exhaust valve, make sure the valve body is screwed
hand-tight into the suit before use. The valve will vent air automatically after entering
the water. If your valve is not working correctly, have the valve inspected by an
authorized technician.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
BREATHABLE FABRIC CLEANING PROCEDURE
Your drywear is manufactured using high caliber breathable/waterproof fabric. When
fabric no longer beads water or becomes soiled by contaminates, including salt water
residue, both breathability and waterproofness can be adversely effected. To ensure
optimum breathability while providing continued waterproofness, some simple effective
fabric cleaning and treatment maintenance is recommended.
Recommended cleaning & treatment procedure:
Hand wash the garment using a synthetic fabric cleaner such as Nikwax or similar
product. Machine washing acceptable using front load washer on gentle cycle. Do not
use top loading washing machines with agitators.
A waterproong treatment such as Revivex or similar product can then be applied, by
either a spray-on or wash-in method. Hang to dry.
FOLDING/STORING DRYWEAR
With the dry zipper open, roll your drywear starting at the socks and working forward
towards the neckseal. Loosely fold the arms together over the body of the drywear.
Do not pack or stuff it in a bag that is too small, as the zipper may bend and result
in damage. The emphasis is on keeping the zipper from bending or kinking. Store in
a cool dry place, out of direct sunlight and away from electric motors or fumes (i.e.:
chlorine, diesel or gas). For prolonged storage, it is best to hang your drywear with the
dry zipper in the open position.

DONNING
DONNING
1. Your drywear comes stock with suspenders. Pull the suspenders out to the sides,
to avoid trapping the suspenders under crotch while donning. Step into main body of
the drywear. Pull suspenders up onto shoulders and adjust for a comfortable t. The
suspenders should hold the drywear up in the crotch (snug but not too tight). If the
crotch is too low, leg mobility will be decreased.
2. Push hands through the latex wrist seals, using free hand to expand the wrist seal
opening. If at any time the latex seals feel difcult to slide on, talcum powder, baby
powder, hair conditioner or a mild soap can reduce the friction against the skin.
3. Stretch the neckseal over the head, using both hands to gently expand the neck
opening.
4. Zip up dry zipper. Be careful not to catch any undergarments or drywear fabric in the
zipper teeth, as this may cause damage and result in leaks. Tip: Place thumb under the
zipper slide as the zipper is being closed. If the zipper does not slide smoothly, check
for obstructions. Do not force the zipper. Zip up outer jacket. Pull bungee on neckseal
to close neckseal.
IMPORTANT: Make sure adjustment is not too tight. After zipping up, expel excess air
from the drywear by squatting down and gently opening the neckseal with hands.
