REVERSE OSMOSIS WATER
SYSTEM CVODA

User manual / 1
Reverse osmosis is really SIMPLY - so it has everything it needs, but nothing more. The main advantage is the price,
thereforesupply quality ltered water to really everyone.
Reverse osmosis is considered the best household water lter due to multi-stage water ltration - it removes all
undesirable substances and thanks to the additional stages of ltration it can mineralize the water and adjust the pH.
CVODA 5-step reverse osmosis includes:
• Higher permeability mechanical insert captures the vast majority of water-visible contaminants that could subsequently damage
the system.
• Pressed carbon insert binds chlorine and its organic compounds, also adjusts the taste and smell of water, or captures
some heavy metals such as lead.
• Subsequently, water ows into the mechanical insert, which is ner. It captures any carbon residue, ie previous ltration
and nally pretreat water for the osmotic membrane.
• In the fourth stage, water enters an osmotic membrane approximately 0.0001 micrometer in size, which captures 90-99% of
all elements of the Mendelian table. Subsequently, the water is thoroughly ltered. The captured elements also include residues
of antibiotics, drugs, orother substances that you will not nd in water analyzes.
• The nal ltration with granular activated carbon mainly serves to add the taste and aroma of the water that was in the tank. Of
course for example, the lter will still rid any water of any bacteria and viruses that may have been present in the tank.
CVODA 6-step reverse osmosis includes:
• Higher permeability mechanical insert captures the vast majority of water-visible contaminants that could subsequently damage
the system.
• Pressed carbon insert binds chlorine and its organic compounds, also adjusts the taste and smell of water, or capturessome
heavy metals such as lead.
• Water then ows into the mechanical insert, which is ner. It captures any carbon residue, ie previous ltration andnally pre
treat water for the osmotic membrane.
• In the fourth stage, water enters an osmotic membrane approximately 0.0001 micrometer in size, which captures 90-99% of all
elements of the Mendelian table. Subsequently, the water is thoroughly ltered. The captured elements also include residues of
antibiotics, drugs, orother substances that you will not nd in water analyzes.
• The fth stage of ltration involves ltration with granular activated carbon. It mainly serves to add avor and aroma to the water
that stood intray. Of course, the lter will still rid the water of any bacteria and viruses that may have occurred in the tank
• Finally, in the sixth stage, the water passes through several stages through the mineralizer and is additionally enriched
with minerals such as:calcium, magnesium, sodium and magnesium found in mineral waters. This level is optional and you can
always choose whetheryou want mineralized water or not.
CVODA 7-step reverse osmosis includes:
• Higher permeability mechanical insert captures the vast majority of water-visible contaminants that could subsequently damage
the system.
• Pressed carbon insert binds chlorine and its organic compounds, also adjusts the taste and smell of water, or capturessome
heavy metals such as lead.

• The last stage of ltration, before the water passes through the tap to you, is the energizer, also known as”Ionizer”.
At this membrane, water ows through a special bioceramic, which enriches the water molecules and gives it the character of
the so-called”Living water”. Water treated in this way has the ability to better and more eectively remove toxic substances and
chemicals from the body. At the same time it increasesimmunity and cell regeneration in the human body.

Package Contents
In each package you will nd hoses, connections, valves, inserts for the lter device, the lter itself, the water tank, the battery for
ltered water and the like. For the installation of reverse osmosis, we recommend the purchase of a sewer connection, circlips
and also teon tape for thread sealing.
1. Installation of reverse osmosis
What to think about before assembly?
Reverse osmosis is installed under the sink in the kitchen counter, so rst of all it is important to check if it is in the cabinet
undersink sucient space to accommodate the entire reverse osmosis system, easy access to the piping and, in the case ofre-
verse osmosis extended by a UV lamp or a pump, also check access to the electrical plug.
When unpacking, you check that you have all the components listed in the enclosed manual and prepare the necessary tools:
• drill,
• 12-hole iron drills,
• 6-hole iron drill bits,
• knife
• wrench
• socket wrench
• cross screwdriver,
• lubricant,
• iron saw blade,
• Teon thread,
• 1 to 2 meters of hose for additional connection of reverse osmosis components.
Approach:
Use of safety fuse
Safety fuses are used for most connections between the individual lter stages. They are very easy to use.If we want to insert the
hose - just remove the fuse, slide in the hose and re-insert the safety fuse. If we want a hosepull out - rst remove the fuse, then
push the O-ring and pull out the hose.
Use of Teon tape
The package includes Teon tape, which is used to reseal plastic threads. We will prepare a quick coupling whose threadwrap in
Teon tape clockwise about 4-5 times.
Inserting lter cartridges
In the third step, we will prepare lter inserts. We recommend rubbing the O-rings, which are located in the lter cylinders
lubricant. We start with a mechanical lter insert, which we insert into the rst lter cylinder called sediment. Filtration we screw
the cylinder and tighten it to the cylinder head with the enclosed wrench. Then we do the same with carbon lters inserts. Finally,
we check that all 3 lter cylinders are screwed rmly and in the correct order.
Insertion of the osmotic membrane
We disconnect the inline lter inserts, unscrew the lter cylinder cap and insert the ostmotic membrane inside. Membrane insert
into the lter cylinder on the side on which the 2 O-rings are located. We push rmly and make sure that it is rmly seated in its
place. Improper settling of the membrane could result in untreated water entering the others lter cylinders. We screw the cap on
and tighten it rmly with the enclosed wrench. We will connect the inline lter inserts back.
UV lamp installation
First we screw the elbows, as they have rubber seals, there is no need to seal them. Disconnect the hose coming from 4-way
valve for carbon lter. Install the uv lamp, and connect the hose to the carbon lter from the uv lamp. UV lamp attached perceives
to osmosis using plastic holders. We insert the radiator into the UV lamp by connecting it to the connectors.
Installation of the valve on the tank and preparation of the sewer connection
We rmly screw the valve to the tank. We will prepare a sewer connection to which we will glue a seal from the insideis part of the
package.

Permeat pump installation
Permeat pump is designed to reduce wastewater consumption, it is not part of the package, but you can nd it in our e-shop.
From the ow restrictor, connect the hose to the Brine IN inlet permeat pump. The Brine OUT will be disposed of. Disconnect the
hose that goes from the diaphragm to the 4-way valve and connect this hose to the Permeat IN hole and the Permeat inlet OUT
we insert the hose into the 4-way valve, where the hose from the diaphragm led before.
Pump installation
The pump is suitable for use at low water inlet pressure (pressure lower than 1.8 bar). Like a permeat pump, it is not part of the
package, but at low water pressure its use is essential. Disconnect the hose from the third lter cylinder, lead the hose to the low
pressure sensor and take it out of the low pressure sensor. We put the hose into the inlet on the pump. From the pump outlet, take
the hose to the 4-way valve where it was before hose from the third drum lter carbon. The high pressure sensor join the tube
leading to the reservoir. This tubecut and connect the hose to the high pressure sensor there. The high and low pressure sensors
are connected by cables.
Installation of shut-o supply valve
Switch o the water supply before installing the reverse osmosis system. The connection is always made to the cold
water supply only. First, it is necessary to roughen the thread on the supply valve using an iron saw blade. After roughening, we
wrap the Teon thread thread. In case of connection to the angle valve, it is necessary to disconnect the hose to the battery
supply (ex hose). We screw up insteada water connection, into which we screw the supply valve, which we previously sealed
with Teon thread. Flexihadicuwe screw it on the transition connection, which we previously mounted on the supply valve. We
unscrew from the supply valvenut, pass it through the yellow hose, slide the hose onto the supply valve as far as it will go, tighten
the nut.
Attaching the sewer connection
We drill a 6 mm hole in the waste pipe. Prepare a red tube - we recommend cutting the end of the tube at an angle,so as not to
touch the siphon wall. Attach the pre-prepared sewer connection with seal to the drain pipe. Hosepush through the hole in the
sewer connection and let it protrude about 2 cm. The other side of the sewer connection is xedwe screw up.
Battery installation
We drill two 12 mm holes in the sink, the mutual distance of which is 18 mm. We place a metal washer and a rubber seal on
battery connection thread. Insert the battery into the drilled holes. Place the connection pads on the underside and tightennut. We
connect the hose to the battery by placing nuts and articial clamps on the hoses and pushing the nipples into the hose.
Had insert the plugs into the battery connection and tighten the nut.
Connecting the hoses to the system
Pull out the plug and insert the yellow tube into the rst lter cylinder marked sediment. The yellow hose connects the supply
valveand a rst ltration stage. Connect the red hose to the ow restrictor. The other side of the red tube leads to the drain pipes.
Pull the white plug out of the T-coupling and connect the white hose to the water tank. We will remove it similarly a blue plug from
the T-shaped coupling, which is located on the carbon lters, and connect the blue hose to the water faucet. We will repeat the
same procedure with the energizer.
Flushing the rst three ltration stages
3. Disconnect the hose from the lter drum and temporarily join the red waste hose, which is connected to OB-ow restrictor. We
will disconnect this end as well. We connect it to the 3rd lter cylinder and to the waste. Let rinse for about 5 minutes. After rinsing,
we return the hoses to their original place.
Water tank installation
White hose into the valve on the container and secure it with a safety lock.

Flushing the water tank and inline lters
We turn on the main water supply, open both taps on the faucet, or we can bleed the device by lifting 3.lter cylinder. As soon as
water starts to ow, let the water ow out of at least 5 minutes, the battery is closed, the valve opens These indentations and let
the water ll the tank for about 45 minutes. Depending on the water inlet pressure, the tank may lllast longer. Then we open both
levers on the battery and let the whole tank drain. We will repeat this step 2 more times.
Final inspection
We recommend checking for leaks at regular intervals until you are sure there are none. For regular water quality controlwe also
recommend measuring with a TDS meter - which measures the amount of solutes in water. Remember to maintain reverse
osmosis unit in good condition by replacing the lters at regular intervals and reverse osmosis regularlydisinfect.
2. Replacement of lter inserts and reverse osmosis disinfection
How to proceed when replacing lter cartridges and disinfecting reverse osmosis?
Reverse osmosis is a multi-stage ltration, with each lter that is part of reverse osmosis having its own specic service life and
its eciency decreases depending on water quality. Therefore, if we want to have a really clean and tidy year-roundwater, it is
necessary to regularly check and change all lters.
What will we need?
Before servicing the reverse osmosis, we will prepare a disinfection kit, check the contents of the package and prepare all
spare lter inserts, new ostmotic membrane and inline lters. If you are not sure which replacement pads you need, we will be
happy tocontact us - we will be happy to advise you In addition, prepare the necessary tools:
• wrench,
• Teon tape,
• Jonhn Guest hose connection elbow.
Approach:
Use of safety fuse
Safety fuses are used for most connections between the individual lter stages. They are very easy to use. If we want to insert the
hose - just remove the fuse, slide in the hose and re-insert the safety fuse. If we want a hose pull out - rst remove the fuse, then
push the O-ring inwards and pull out the hose.
Preparation for disinfection of reverse osmosis system
Close the water supply valve and let the water tank drain. It is essential to remove all before the disinfection processlter
cartridges and disconnect inline lters. Use the wrench to release all three lter cylinders. We remove them from the body of
reverse osmosis and select lter cartridges from them. We can wash the lter covers and hoses with warm water - it is possible to
use common cleaning agents,it is important that they are not too aggressive. We screw the empty lter cylinders back on, tighten
with a wrench. We will proceed in the same way with the ostmotic membrane. Remove the safety fuse and disconnect it from the
inputladybug reverse osmosis membrane cover, unscrew the cap and remove the ostmotic membrane. We screw the cap back
onand reconnect the hose.
Disconnect the hose between the waste water elbow and the ow restrictor, and insert a plug into the waste water elbow. We also
disconnect the hose between the four-way valve and the T-coupling from the carbon lter. Because there is no
disinfection designed for inline inserts (post-carbon lter, mineralizer and energizer), we put these inserts aside. These inserts are
not possible disinfect.
We will connect the T-shaped coupling, which is part of the package, to the OUT port of the four-way valve. Connect the hose to
the T-shaped coupling connect the water tank and the hose from the tap to the other side of the T-shaped coupling.

Installing the disinfectant insert in front of the system
We will install the disinfectant insert in front of the reverse osmosis system. When placing the insert, make sure that it is
installed the right direction, the direction of water ow, as indicated on the package. Switch on the supply of water and wait until
the reservoirlls with water. After lling, wait 30 minutes and open the tap to empty the water tank. Subsequently, the water
supply boil and disconnect the disinfectant insert.
Rinse after disinfection
After disinfection, we ush the entire reverse osmosis system. We turn on the water supply again and wait until the system is
fullwater, we drain this water into the drain. Do not use this water. This step is repeated three times. After the process -we close
the water supply valve. Disconnect the hoses from the four-way valve and tap. We will also disconnect the T-connector we have
previously connected to four-way valve.
Preparation for lter cartridge replacement
Before starting the replacement of the lter cartridges, check whether we have a closed water supply and the entire volume of
reservoir. We will prepare new lter cartridges.
Replacement of lter inserts on the rst three lter stages
Using a wrench, we release and then unscrew the rst lter cylinder called Sediment. We will put a new mechanism inside lter
element. We screw the lter cylinder back on and tighten it with a wrench. We will repeat this procedure with the otherstwo
carbon-marked lter cylinders with carbon lter cartridges.
Ostmotic membrane replacement
The replacement is similar to the lter cartridges. First we choose a tube that leads to the ostmotic membrane. We unscrew the
lter cylinder cap and insert a new ostmotic membrane of the same type. We insert the membrane intoof the lter cylinder on
the side on which the 2 O-rings are located. We push rmly and make sure that the membrane is rm settled in its place. Proper
membrane seating is important because if the membrane is seated incorrectly, it would the untreated water was passed to other
ltration stages. We screw the lter cylinder cap back on, tighten with a wrench andconnect the hose back.
Replacement of inline lters - carbon post lter, mineralizer, energizer
When replacing inline lters, we recommend purchasing new elbows to connect the hoses and sealing them with Teon tape.
Possibly old ones can also be used, which are cleaned of Teon tape and resealed.Disconnect the hoses from the post carbon
lter and replace this lter with a new one. When replacing the lter, pay attention to the locationcarbon lter into the system in the
correct direction according to the arrow on the packaging, which determines the direction of ow. We will return the hoses to ours
original place. The mineralizer and energizer are replaced in the same way as the post-carbon lter. After exchanging every
lter inserts, remove the plug from the waste water elbow and connect the hose to the ow restrictor.
Rinse the water tank
Turn on the main water supply, open both taps on the faucet. As soon as the water starts to ow, let the water ow at least
5 minutes, close the battery, open the valve on the tank and let the water ll the tank - about 45 minutes. Depending from the
water inlet pressure, it may take longer to ll the tank. Then we open both levers on the battery and leave it all tray leak. We will
repeat this step 2 more times.
Final inspection
Finally, check all seals for leaks. You can also check the water quality before and after the change use a TDS meter to determine
the amount of water soluble.
How long do lter cartridges last?
The maximum service life of the mechanical lter element, carbon lter elements and mineralization lter is approximately 10
months. While the life span of the osmotic membrane and energizer is signicantly longer, it is about 2, maximum 3 years. But it
is always necessary take into account the fact that the service life of individual lters depends primarily on the quality of the
incoming water and also on the quantity ltered water. For this reason, the life of the lter cartridges may be shorter. We
recommend the condition of the lter inserts routinely checked.
