The information included in this manual can be modified at any moment and without prior notice at the
AQUATRONICA SRL’s discretion. These modifications will be added in the next editions of this manual.

Pursuant to Directive no.13 on the 25th of July 2005, Clause no. 151 2002/95/CE, 2002/9 / CE and 2003/108/CE issued
by the European Parliament regarding the use reduction of dangerous substances in electrical and electronic
equipment, as well as waste disposal.
Products bearing the barred dustbin symbol must be disposed of separately from other waste.
Therefore, the user must dispose of this product at suitable recycling centers for electronic and electro-technical
waste; otherwise the user must hand over the used product to the retailer when buying a new equivalent product,
in a proportion one-to-one.
Separate waste collection allows that used equipment are recycled, treated and disposed of without negative
consequences for the environment and health, and it allows the recycling of materials provided in the equipment
as per Law Decree no. 22/1997 (Clause no.50 and following no. 22/1997).

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
•OPEN a d CLOSE DEVICE CONNECTOR COVER
Open the device cover removing the back lid, press with your fingers and pull. Close the device cover
following the same process backwards.
•OPEN a d CLOSE USB EXTERNAL DEVICE COVER
Open the device slot (for USB or Wi-Fi key) lifting up the small lid and pull. Close the device slot following the
same process backwards.
•USB or Wi-Fi USB port
The USB External connector allows the connection of USB devices (USB key drive) or USB Wi-Fi key.

•SD CARD PLUG a d UNPLUG
To insert the SD card, place your TOUCH CONTROLLER face down and insert the card as shown in the picture.
Remove the SD card using your fingers and pull.
•BATTERY INSTALLATION
Remove device cover, pull out battery and replace it with a new one (3V button CR2032 type), then replace
cover.
•BRACKET INSTALLATION
•Install bracket only after all required cables have been plugged and the rear panel has been
properly closed.
•At first, install rib into the slot on the bottom side, then use your fingers to push the slot-in pivot
into the back cover slot (see picture).

HOME PAGE
Once the device is ON, the Home Screen appears. There you can see the widgets you require, such as other devices,
sensors or more. The Home Screen setting can be customized.
From the Home Screen, select Menu button to access the Main Menu.
Select one icon or press the arrow on the bottom to the right to access the other Menu pages.
Browsing through the pages you will see the available icons (colored) and those not available, because not connected
to any accessory yet (light grey colour).

MAIN MENU - HOME
In the AQUATRONICA TOUCH CONTROLLER the HOME page is the section where you can add all the information
about your system.
All information is displayed as WIDGET in order to show values of sensors, plugs, dosing pumps or other accessories.
You can return back to your HOME page in two different ways:
-Pressing the HOME icon on the Main Menu.
-Pressing the AQUATRONICA logo on the top left corner of the display.
MAIN MENU - OVERVIEW
In the AQUATRONICA TOUCH CONTROLLER the OVERVIEW page is an important Menu, because it allows you to get
information about your Aquatronica system.

In this list you can find all the AQUATRONICA devices connected to your system. For each device you can see the type
of device, the Firmware and the Hardware version and the Address number available in your system.
In the table below you can find the following setting buttons:
•FLASH
It allows the update of the firmware of AQUATRONICA devices connected to the system. To update the Firmware of
your Touch Controller, please follow these steps:
a. Use the files inside USB key or SD card, downloaded and extracted from the web site
b. Insert the USB key or SD card in the Touch Controller
c. Press MENU
d. Press OVERVIEW
e. In the list of the connected devices, select the device that you want to update pressing on its line; in this way
the line turns of white highlighted colour
f. Press FLASH
g. Select the file from the list (usually the name has the code of the device)
h. Press SELECT
i. Wait for the updating
•UPDATE
It allows the update of the firmware of the Touch Controller. Near the Flash button you can see the installed version.
To update the firmware of your Touch Controller follow these steps:
a. Download the update file from the Aquatronica web site. It is a " .zip" file.
b. Unzip the file and put extracted files in your USB Key or SD Card (do not make any folders, just extract the
files into the main folder)
c. Insert the USB key (or SD Card) in the Touch Controller
d. Press MENU
e. Press OVERVIEW
f. Press UPDATE
g. Wait until the Touch Controller has completed the firmware updating and restart
h. Verify on Menu -> Overview, that the version number has been updated
•EXPORT
It allows the saving of your Aquatronica configurations and programs (Backup) into an external drive (SD Card or USB
Key).
To export a configuration, follow these steps:
a. Be sure that you have an USB Key or SD Card inside the Touch Controller
b. Press EXPORT
c. Wait until the procedure has been completed
d. If you extract the USB key or SD Card and read it into a PC, you have to find an ACQSAVEDATA.DAT file.
This is your Backup.

•IMPORT
It allows you to import a Backup from an external drive (USB key or SD Card).
To import a configuration it is necessary to disconnect your Touch Controller from the bus. Please do not connect the
USB cable to the controller:
a. Be sure that you have an USB Key or SD Card inserted into the Touch Controller with your Backup file
(ACQSAVEDATA.DAT)
b. Press MENU
c. Press OVERVIEW
d. Press IMPORT
e. Wait until the import procedure has been completed
•RESET
This command resets all the settings of your Touch Controller. If you make a reset, you ERASE ALL DATAS available
into the Touch Controller. Please BE SURE, before proceeding.
MAIN MENU - SETTINGS
In the AQUATRONICA TOUCH CONTROLLER the SETTINGS Menu allows you to adjust some parameters of the
controller. The Settings Menu is composed of:
•GENERAL
a. Name your Aquatronica System.
b. Set Date and Time.
c. Set the language of your Touch Controller.
•DISPLAY
a. Change the luminosity of the display.
b. Start the calibration procedure of the display.
c. Change the Background of the display.
d. Set the Power saving. If you enable the Power saving mode, after 5 minutes of inactivity, the display switches off.
Click on any F1, F2, F3, F4 function keys to reactivate it.
e. It is possible to set a password by clicking the Enable button and entering an alphanumeric text in the Password
field. Click Menu to return back to the Main Menu.

To set the block with a Password, click on the lock icon on the Top Bar:
In this way the Touch Controller is blocked.
To unlock the Touch Controller, press again on the icon on Top Bar:
After the icon selection, the unlock screenshot appears:
Write the selected Password and press unlock.
•SMS
a. Insert two telephone numbers of the recipients.
b. Update your SMS module *.
c. Remove your SMS module from the system. If you disconnect the USB cable from the SMS module, you can remove
it definitively from your system by pressing DISCONNECT.

* HOW TO UPDATE SMS MODULE
To update the firmware of the AQUATRONICA SMS MODULE, please follow these steps:
a. Use the files into the USB key or SD card downloaded and extracted from the web site
b. Insert the USB key or SD Card into the Touch Controller
c. Press MENU
d. Press SETTINGS
e. Press SMS
f. Press UPDATE
g. Select the file in the UpdateSMS.upd list pressing on the name. The line turns of white colour
h. Press SELECT
i. Wait for the update
MAIN MENU – HOME SETUP
In the AQUATRONICA TOUCH CONTROLLER the HOME SETUP Menu allows to decide which type of information can
be showed on the Home Page. You can customize the Home adding or removing widget or pages. It is very similar to
the Home settings of a Smart Phone.
1. Mini Home preview: it allows selecting the position where you want to add or remove widgets.
2. Mini Home preview scroll page: it allows selecting in what page you want to add/remove widgets.
3. Device grouping: it allows selecting the clustered widgets.
4. Add/Remove Icons: it allows adding/removing pages or widgets.
5. Widget selection: it allows the choice of the widget you want to add.
. Widget scroll page: it allows scrolling the widget pages of the selected cluster.

ADD WIDGET EXAMPLE:
a. Select the cluster of the widget to add (power unit-sensors-dosing pumps-light dimmers-pump dimmer) (3)
b. Select the page where you want to add the widget (2)
c. Select the widget to add (5)

REMOVE WIDGET EXAMPLE:
a. Select the position to remove in Home Preview (1)
b. Select the Widget- icon (4)
ATTENTION: It is not possible to put the same widget in different places. If you place a widget that is already present
in Home, it will change its position with the new one.
MENU - AGENDA
In the AQUATRONICA TOUCH CONTROLLER the AGENDA Menu allows to set some reminder that will appear later on
the screen.
Pressing the AGENDA icon on page 1 of the MENU, you can enter the screen selection of all reminders.
In the center there is the list of written reminders.
On the left part there are the three selection icons:
: Add reminder
: Remove reminder
: Modify selected reminder
Pressing Add Reminder Icon, the system shows the reminder page.
You can select:
-Reminder text
-When the reminder will appear (DATE)
-When the reminder will appear (TIME)
-Repetition: Hour/Day/Month
To save the Reminder press OK.
The message will appear on the display at
a fixed date and time.

MAIN MENU - SEQUENCES
In the AQUATRONICA TOUCH CONTROLLER the SEQUENCES Menu allows to set a list of activities that the Touch
Controller can make automatically when you start the sequence.
It can be used for many different things, such as sequences for automatic water change in the tank, or sequences for
putting elements into the water.
Pressing the SEQUENCES Icon on page 1 of the MENU, it is possible to enter into the complete list of all sequences.
In the center there is the list of fixed Sequences. On the left part there are the three selection icons:
: Add Sequence : Remove Sequence : Modify selected Sequence
If you want to insert a new Sequence, press on the Add Sequence button and a new page will appear. In this page you
have to insert the name of the sequence, then press Next button.

Into a Sequence Setup you can have three different types of steps:
•Variables
•Action
•Delay (pauses)
On the left part of the screen there are two icons, one to cancel a step of the sequence ( ) and one to modify a
step ( ).
To start the sequence, choose selection according to what you want to add between a variable, an action or a delay.
•Add VARIABLE:
To add a variable like a step of the sequence, press the +VARIABLE button:
1. Scroll the type of sensors using the left and right arrow buttons ( ). Into the selection type you can
have Sensors, Time, Function Keys (F1-F2-F3-F4).
2. When the type is the one you desire, select on the bottom part of the screen the widget of the sensor that
you want to add in the sequence.
3. Push on the icon to add the selected widget into the Input Selection list.

4. The selected widget is added to the Input Selection list.
5. Press Next to go into the Sensor value page.
