CPU UNICONTROL.
The Unicontrol device is a device designed to manage pellet stoves and boilers.

Módulo WIFI
Display LCD

2-VI UALIZER
It informs us about the state of the boiler and reflects the actions we perform on the keyboard.
4-ON / OFF KEY ()
It allows us to turn on and off our boiler, and leave the programming fields within the different menus.
5-MENU KEY
This button allows us to select between the different functions of our boiler, hour, minute, day, boiler
temperature, on / off programs, etc., and select the data to be modified (the symbol appears *) .
6-DECREA E KEY ()
Reduces the temperature (fuel drop) generated by our boiler and allows you to select and vary the different
settings available in the configuration menus
5-INCREA E KEY ()
Increases the temperature (fuel drop) generated by our boiler and allows you to select and vary the different
settings available in the configuration menus
8-INFRARED RECEIVER
Receive the signal sent by the remote control. ()()()
7-LED DIODE
indicates signal reception, coming from the remote control.
9-FLAT TAPE CONNECTOR . Connect the keyboard with the UNICONTROL unit, using flat cable
10-U B CONNECTOR. Connect the keyboard with the UNICONTROL unit, using a USB cable
LIGHTING THE KEYBOARD (ACTIVATE / DEACTIVATE):
The keyboard models Uni_Teclado_11 and later versions have a function, which allows us to deactivate the
backlight of the keyboard when it is not necessary.
To activate this function we must place ourselves in the main screen and press the menu key ( ) for five
seconds. At this time, the blue LED on the keypad will blink twice, indicating that the function has been
activated. After twenty seconds without any activity of the keyboard or remote control the lighting of the
display will turn off and will only be activated again if a key is pressed on the control panel (keypad) or on the
remote control.
To deactivate this function, press ( ) for five seconds and after them the backlight will be activated.

Start-up of the stove.
Connect the network cable to the socket on the back of the stove.
Then, the following graphic sequences (numbered to the left of the text) will be displayed on the
control panel screen.
1 - Software version and serial number. 2 -Selected stove model.
3 - Start test It will be done every time

Quick guide to show the operation of the stove with rise and fall of the power level. In menu 1 you will
find the way to program the stove by using a series of submenus which will optimize its performance.
7 - Ignition of stove. We press the on / off key. 8 - The system is checking by checking
components and parameters.

The "<" symbol indicates that the temperature is
lowering.
15 - Minimum power level "L". When a level is
lowering in temperature, it can reach the minimum
level depending on the thermal inertia of the stove.
16 -Power level 3, reached and stabilized.
17 -We increase power level. The ">" symbol
indicates that the temperature is rising.
18 - Power level 7, reached and stabilized.
1 - Once the on / off key has been pressed, the
shutdown will not take place until after 10 seconds
(approx.). In this way we can rectify by pressing the
key.
20 - As the ignition is timed, only in this case the
time set is the minimum necessary to complete the
combustion process.

We went on to detail all the chrono-temperature symbols, before making programming in menu 1.
C: Enable the chrono. It will turn on and off, according to the settings made in the
menus 1- 2 and 1-3.
T: Enables the room temperature probe. Modulates the ambient temperature according to
schedules made in menus 1- 2 and 1-3.
S: Enables the differential temperature that allows the stove to be turned off if the room temperature
exceeds in 3 degrees of the set value.
E: Enables the external probe allowing the stove to be turned on if the value of the external temperature is
ower than the value programmed in menu 1 - 3 (on week). It is advisable that the installation of the
external temperature probe, be carried out by the technical service.
<21ºC> 25ºC: The temperature between angular brackets corresponds to the programmed value
(setpoint temperature). The temperature on the right corresponds to the ambient temperature.

C : Enables the chrono. It will turn on and off, according to the settings made in the
menus 1- 2 and 1-3.
T : Enables the room temperature probe. Modulates the ambient temperature according to

S : Enables the differential temperature that allows the stove to be turned off if the boiler temperature
exceeds in 7 degrees of the set value.
E : Enables the external probe allowing the stove to be turned on if the value of the external temperature
is lower than the value programmed in menu 1 - 3 (on week). It is advisable that the installation of the
external temperature probe, be carried out by the technical service.
* : Indicates that the accelerator pump is activated.
<56ºC> 58ºC : The temperature between angular brackets corresponds to the programmed value
(setpoint temperature). The temperature on the right corresponds to the temperature of the water
accumulator. In this same screen using increment or decrement keys, we can modify the setpoint
temperature temporarily. Remember that at the start of each ignition, the setpoint temperature could have
changed according to the settings made in any of the two calendars (chronothermostat).
P=1.2Bar : Indicates the water pressure.
T=66ºC : Indicates the temperature of the water inside the boiler.
21B - We enter water temperature programming.
Limits the maximum water temperature.
21C - we choose temperature.
21D -We increase temperature. 21E - We exit water temperature adjustment.
21F - Adjusted temperature.

Options and user settings.
Menu 1 contains all the options that allow the stove to be programmed, according to the user's
needs or adjustments required by the installation.
The most important adjustment is found in section 1-6a. By varying this parameter we can obtain the most
suitable combustion for our stove. The values pre-established by the manufacturer are usually effective, but
the characteristics of certain installations, make it necessary to readjust this parameter to obtain an
optimum combustion. This adjustment is only necessary once and, if possible, during the start-up of
the stove, supervised by the professional who carries out the installation.
Prior to entering the menu section, the information that allows us to check the programming on the top line
of the LCD always appears (graphic sequences number 6 and 21 models for air, 21A
p. Water). If we press again menu will appear menu screen 1. In case of wanting to return to the initial
state, press the on / off key (on / off).
Instructions by examples.
The schedules and adjustments made in the "Menu 1", they must be preceded by the key “Menu”. When you
press this, an asterisk will appear which tells us that we can vary the selected option. Once the adjustment
has been made, the memorization of it will be carried out whit the ON/OFF key, erasing the asterisk.The only
exception is found in the error selection sub-menu, since the change is made immediately using the increase
and decrease buttons.
To shorten the explanatory texts located below each sequence, the operations performed on the keyboard will
be indicated by a symbol in the form of a hand, which will show the key to be pressed.The result will appear
in the following sequence. There can be two operations in the same sequence. The start of a new section is
ndiicated by the image of the sequence in gray background.
22 Screen without activity. It indicates that the
stove is ready to light. We see programming.
23 - Basic program. Modulation by fuel levels.
No control of ambient temperature or external
temperature.
We enter menus.
24 – We enter menu 1. 25 - We enter language selection.
26 - We select the English language. 27 - We return to the previous language and
we left language selection.

28 -We enter the programming of the system clock. 29 - we select the time
30 - Selected time we do not modify it and we pass to
minutes.
31 - We modify the minutes by increasing them
up to 15 and we pass with the menu key to the next
sequence.
32 - We modify the day of the week.

weekly schedule 1.
34 - We enter weekly program 1. 35 – Ignition program. These values will be repeated
every day of the week.

repeated every Monday. The scripts indicate that
there is no programming. We select time

the ambient temperature stable and save our fuel.

74 - We select standby thermostat. The stove will
switch off if it exceeds 3ºC (air) or 7ºC (water) at
ambient temperature / setpoint boiler.
75 - We enable standby.
76 - We confirm habilitation. 77 - We left standby.
78 - We select fuel level programming. 79 -We enter fuel level programming.

80 - We select fuel level. 81 - We increase the fuel level.
82 - We confirm the fuel level. 83 - We left fuel level programming.
84 -We select the combustion air programming. 85 - Read the attached note that you will find at the
end of the menu 1 will facilitate the steps for
obtaining an optimal result. We enter the
combustion air programming.
86 - We select the air adjustment. 87 -We increase depression level.
88 -We confirm the adjusted level. 8 - We enter the convector air setting.
0 - The convector is a fan that extracts air from the
bottom and back of the stove, leading it through the
heat exchanger to finally remove it from the upper
front.
1 - We increase convection level. Increases the air
flow and decreases the air temperature, depending
on the modified value.

2 -.We confirm the level of the convector.
Decreasing the value of the convector will increase
the air temperature.
3 - We leave the air adjustment of the convector.
The adjusted value is automatically provided
in the other levels.
4 -We select several uses programming. 95 - We enter programming various uses.
6 - We select hardware tests. Check if the motors
are connected before each ignition.
7 -We enable the hardware test. In the event that
the electrical network is unstable, this test
should be disabled.
8 - We confirm hardware test enablement. - We select keyboard sound.
100 - We enable keyboard sound. There will be a
short beep every time we press a key. You will also
hear beeping sequences when the stove is turned on
and off.
101 - We confirm keyboard sound.
We confirm keyboard sound. We enter operating mode.
104 - This option is only used in boilers with sanitary
water accumulator. We left several uses
programming.
105 - We select programming by standby
of security.

106 - We enter into stand-by programming. limits the
maximum temperature of the air / water exchanger.
107 - We select temperature.
108 -We increase temperature. 10 - If this temperature is equalized or exceeded,
the stove will turn off again when the temperature is
lower than the programmed value. We confirm
temperature.
110 - We left standby programming. 111 - We enter fuel selection.
112 -We select pellets. 113 - We enable selection.
114 - We select through the "olive bone" increment
key.
115 -We confirm "olive bone".
116 - We left the fuel selection. 117 - We select menu 1 - 11.
118 -Not used. We select menu 1-12. 119 - Not used. We select to recover
data.

120 - Holding the Menu key for more than 5 seconds
will recover the source data.
121 -The schedules of calendars 1 and 2, as well as
the hours of operation and lit, will be maintained.
In case there is no graphic representation on the display, we can perform the data recovery, following
the instructions below
Disconnect the stove. Keep the increment key pressed and then connect the stove again without releasing the
increment key.
After a few seconds, a numerical representation corresponding to the data that is being recovered will
appear. Release the increase key.
Adjustment of combustion air.
As we have already indicated on page number 5, the adjustment of the combustion air must be done as
carefully as possible.
Once the stove is on and has reached the power level 5, we enter the combustion air setting "Menu 1- 6a".
The flame must have liveliness without getting rid of fuel from the basket, that is, the flame must be vertical
but there must be too much air at the combustion point (basket).
We will observe that the tips of the flame tend to have an orange color without these traces of smoke. The
increase or decrease of the air level in the “Menu 1-6a”, it will be done varying +/- .01mB and waiting for next
30 seconds approximately, so that the modified value stabilizes. Depending on the results, we will continue
the adjustment or conclude the same. It is very important that the duration of this regulation be at least 15
minutes.
Observe when the stove is off and the cooling process is complete, if the bottom of the hearth has a grayish
color and no traces of dark areas, if so, combustion is proving satisfactory.
This regulation will remain permanently in the stove, so it is not necessary to modify it again.
The Viriato cpu will self-regulate combustion air based on the fuel, power required and waste
accumulated during the operation of the stove.
If the minimum air required by our combustion is not reached, the stove will turn off indicating
insufficient air in the combustion.

reference to determine the amount of air that the
stove lowers during its operation, in case its
maintenance and cleaning are precarious.

132 - Software version and serial number. 133 - Message area from technical service. It allows
to receive a total of 160 characters included in 5
screens. We press menu.

142 - First line: date of revision.
Second line: indicates the telephone number of the
technical service. The phone shown is by way of
example, it has no validity.
142A - The boiler / stove was switched off due to
excess temperature in the air exchanger. It will light
up again when the temperature drops one degree of
the set value (menu 1- ).
142B -The boiler has been turned off, and will not
turn on again until the set temperature (Left) is not
higher than the boiler temperature (right).
142C - The stove has been switched off and will not
be switched on again until the setpoint temperature
(Left) is not higher than the ambient temperature
(right).

We can exit the waiting state by pressing the increment key until the current temperature is exceeded, But
remember that the ambient / boiler temperature that we had initially, will be altered by increasing the
working point of the same.
Incident messages.
If an incident occurs: before, during or after operation, a message indicating the reason will
appear on the screen.
The same message can occur for different reasons, so we will indicate everything that is
related to the incident.
143 -Badly inserted motor terminal or defective
connection in the wiring.
