Introduction
Requirement
Requirement of the document is to provide step by step process of A600 Aratek RD
Service for Android application.
S/W and H/W Requirement
Prerequisites for S/W
Android Smart phone having OS version from 5.0 or above.
Prerequisites for H/W
A600 Fingerprint Sensor Device with OTG enabled mobile.
Installation steps
Customer needs Android OS base Smartphone. The Android OS version should be 5.0 or
above. Plugging biometric device A600 then follow screens with instructions.

Aratek A600 RDService application, initial screen display NOT READY in Status.
Connect A600 USB scanner to Android device, will detect the device and show the popup for USB
permission as below image. Tap on check box to allow FP device connect with Android device.

Ready Status indicates both Biometric scanner device and Android connected properly.
Tap on dropdown, select Settings option to change application configuration.

To check RD service firmware details, tap on menu options then select About.
Click each option to edit

application designed.

After Successful connectivity, use any UIDAI authentication application will prompt below screen for Finger
Capture.
Note: If Biometric capture unsuccessful frequently, check in Setting
Enable LED Capture ON option to get capture success, Refer
below screenshots for clear understanding.
