1.1 BatteryInstallationandReplacement


a) Useacointoturnthebatterycompartmentcovercounter‐clockwisetounlockposition.
b) InsertanewCR2032battery.
c) Turnthebatterycompartmentcoverclockwisetothelockedposition.
d) Makesurethatthecoverissecurelyclosedtopreventmoisturefromenteringthebatterycompartment.

1.2 SensorandMagnetInstallation
 Positionsensortotherearchain‐staywitharubberband.Usetwocabletiestolooselyattachthesensor
(donotfullytighten).

 Attachthecrankmagnetonthecrankandwheelmagnetonspoke.Useascrewdrivertoadjustthespeed
sensorposition.Makesurethegapbetweenbothsensorsandmagnetsislessthan3mm.


 Tightenbothcabletiesoncesetupiscomplete.

2.2 Pairing
 StartArchon Apponyourmobile phone. Scrollthrough the instructionpagesandgototheAdd
Devicemenu.
 SelectArchonSpeedintheArchonApp.
 PedaltoactivatethesensorandpairtheArchonSpeedwithyourmobilephone.

3. MobileSettingwiththeArchonSpeed

 IntheArchonApp,gotosettingsandinputthewheelsizeofyourbike.
 Youcanmonitorthespeedyourbicycleistravelingandthespeedatwhichyouarepedalingviayour
mobilephone.

4. SafetyandCare
• MakesureyourArchonSpeeddoesnotdisturbpedalingorusingbrakesorgears.
• Iffeelingunwellduringcycling,stopimmediatelyandseekmedicalassistanceorprofessionalhelp.
• Whileridingyourbike,keepyoureyesontheroadtopreventpossibleaccidentsorinjury.

Do not use the device in extreme temperatures. Please don't expose the device to strong sunlight or heavily
humid environments.

Q: Why connection to the Archon Speed has failed?
A: Please check if your mobile phone and operating system fall within the range of compatibility (see point
2). Connection may sometimes fail due to mobile phone operation. Please turn off connection and turn on
again. Alternatively, switch the phone on and off again. Retry connection.

