1. Remove the battery compartment cover from the
bottom of the unit.
2. Insert 2 x AAA batteries into the compartment,
taking care to match the battery orientations
marked on the inside of the compartment.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
NOTE: Battery backup retains clock, presets &
alarm settings.

assist with keeping the correct time when the mains power is
interrupted for short periods of time.

User Instructions
MAINS POWER CONNECTION
1. Connect the mains plug to a UK wall socket.
2. Press the ON / OFF button to turn on the device

Entering standby mode when the unit is not
being used will save energy.
To enter standby mode, press the ON / OFF
NOTE: Programmed alarms will still sound when in
STANDBY mode.
Setting the time
The clock setting must be performed while in
STANDBY mode.

Troubleshooting
Important: Always unplug the appliance from the power socket during cleaning and
maintenance.
•Never use any sharp instruments or abrasive substances, soap, household cleaner, detergent or wax
polish for cleaning.
•Clean the external surfaces with a damp soft cloth only. Never use abrasive products or solvents as it
may damage the appliance.
In the unlikely event of difculties with your appliance please follow the trouble shooting guide below.
