C. PoE connection
1. Connect (POE) RJ45 Jack to CPE RJ45 Jack with good quality Ethernet cable.
2. Connect (LAN) Jack to PC or Switch Hub LAN port.
3. Plug the AC power cordially
D. CPE Connection
1. Open the CPE enclosure you will find two RJ45 Jacks two LEDs and one reset button.
2. Connect the PoE cable to either LAN or WAN port.
3. To reset the CPE just press and hold the reset button for about 10 seconds and wait for
55 seconds to reboot the CPE.
Notice:
This CPE default operation mode is in Bridge mode. Both LAN and WAN ports are in the
same switch hub. Please go to the webpage and change the operation mode to Gateway
mode when you are going to use the WAN port for your CPE.

-For CPE2618、CPE2628、CPE2630 configuration
The WLAN Broadband Router is delivered with the following factory default parameters on
the Ethernet LAN interfaces.
Default IP Address: 10.10.10.254
Default IP subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
WEB login User Name: admin
WEB login Password: admin
CPE2628、CPE2630 have four operation modes (Gateway/Bridge/WISP/AP Client).
Bridge/WISP/AP Client:
The default IP addresses for the device are 10.10.10.254, so you need to make sure the IP
address of your PC is in the same subnet as the device, such as 10.10.10.X.
It will take about 25 seconds to complete the boot up sequence after power on from PoE.
Gateway:
The default IP addresses for the device are 172.32.1.254, so you need to make sure the IP
address of your PC is in the same subnet as the device, such as 172.32.1.X.
It will take about 25 seconds to complete the boot up sequence after power on from PoE.
CPE2618 has three operation modes (Bridge/WISP/AP Client).
Bridge/WISP/AP Client:
The default IP addresses for the device are 10.10.10.254, so you need to make sure the IP
address of your PC is in the same subnet as the device, such as 10.10.10.X.
It will take about 25 seconds to complete the boot up sequence after power on from PoE.

Part II: Internal Web Management
CPE AP Model (IP Share Connection
1、Connect the DATA OUT of PoE and LAN port of this equipment with one cable line and
the DATAIN of PoE and RJ45 of computer with another cable line. And then waiting for
booting around 20 seconds.
2、Open the IE ( Internet Explorer) and type 10.10.10.254 on Website to enter the setup
frame. If you can’t enter to setup frame, you can try to set the IP address for
10.10.10.XXX and try to connect again. Otherwise, please press Reset button around
10 seconds to restoreAP and try to enter again
Select the Operation Mode on the left side of setup frame
1. In Operation Mode, please select Bridge. Select AP or Main AP in Wireless Operation
Mode and press Apply

2. In Internet Setting/LAN/, you may change the setting of IP address for this CPE, and then
press Apply
3. In Wireless Settings / Basic, you may change the setting of SSID for this CPE, and then
press Apply
4. In Wireless Settings / Security, you may change the setting of password for this CPE, and
then press Apply
Finish setting and press Apply, the setting will be completed after rebooting around 20
seconds. Note: You have to connect cable line with LAN port of this equipment.

CPE Client Model (Wireless Network Card Connection)
Select the Operation Mode on the left side of setup frame
1. In Operation Mode, please select Bridge. Select Client or Main Client in Wireless
Operation Mode and press Apply
2. In Internet Setting/LAN/, you may change the setting of IP address for this CPE, and then
press Apply

3-a. In Wireless Settings / Site Surver, if there are no AP SSID, please press Rescan to
search again.
3-b. In Wireless Settings / Site Surver, select the SSID which you want to connect and press
the orange point on left site. And then press Connect

4. Enter the password of SSID which you have connected and press Apply to complete
setup.
Note: If IP address was modified, you have to re-connect the WebServer with the new
address in same network section (10, 10, 10, XXX) and
network mask (255.255.255. 0).

CPE WDS Model Setup (Bridge Joint)
A、Select Administration in left side of setup frame and press Status
In Internet Configurations, the MAC Address show different WAN MAC Address from
each equipment. For example, the router A shows 00:0C:43:28:8B:68 and the router B
shows 00:0C:43:28:8B:78. Take note of two of MAC Address.
Select the Operation Mode on the left side of setup frame

Attention: A & B have to set the different IP in same class. For example, the router A sets
10.10.10.1 and the router B sets 10.10.10.2

3. In Wireless Settings / Basic, you may change the setting of SSID for this CPE, and then
press Apply
4. In Wireless Settings / Security, you may change the setting of password for this CPE, and
then press Apply

5. In Wireless Settings / Basic or WDS, select Bridge Mode from WDS Mode to connect AP
MAC Address like 00:0C:43:28:8B:78 and press Apply
Attention: B set the A’s MAC 00:0C:43:28:8B:68 and A set B’s MAC 00:0C:43:28:8B:78
Note1: Please connect cable line with LAN port when you use this equipment.
Note2: If IP address was modified, you have to re-connect the WebServer with the
new address in same network section (10, 10, 10, XXX) and
network mask (255.255.255. 0).
