AP Router Connection
Before installing the router, please connect your PC to the internet through your internet
service provider.

1. Turn off your PC(s), cable/ ADSL modem and the router.
2. Adjust the antenna if needed. Normally, straight up on router is good.
3. Connect the PC(s) and each switch/hub on your local area network to the LAN ports on
the router.
4. Connect the ADSL/DSL/cable modem to the router WAN port.
5. Connect the power adapter between the DC-Jack on the router and an electrical outlet.
The router will start to work automatically.
6. Turn on your PC(s) and the cable/ADSL modem.

AP Router configuration
The AP Router is delivered with the following factory default parameters on the Ethernet LAN
interfaces.
Default IP Address: 192.168.1.254
Default IP subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Web login User Name: <empty>
Web login Password: <empty>
The device has three operation modes:
1, Gateway
2, Bridge
3, WISP
The default IP addresses for the device are 192.168.1.254, and you need to make sure the IP
address of your PC is in the same subnet as the device, such as 192.168.1.X.
It will take about 55 seconds to complete the boot up sequence after power on.

PoE DC Injector Configuration
PPOE stands for Power over Ethernet, and it is usually used with Wireless Device.
You can use it to integrate the power and the Ethernet then connected with the RJ45 cable.
With POE, you can bring the power and Ethernet together in one cable for long distance as
far as the RJ45 cable can reach.

1, Gateway: AP Mode Setup (ADSL)
1-1. Install the antenna & power adapter, and then connect the LAN cable with LAN port of
this equipment. Another side of cable line connects with network card of computer. Please
wait for reboot around 20 seconds.
1-2. Open the IE (or other browser) and type http://192.168.1.254 on URL to enter the setup
frame. If you can’t enter to setup frame, please press Reset button around 10 seconds to
restore AP and try to enter again.
1-3. Select the Setup Wizard on the left side of setup frame and press Next>>
1-4. In Operation Mode, select Gateway and press Next>>

1-5. In Time Zone Setting, if you don’t need any change, please press Next>>
1-6. In LAN Interface Setup, you may change the setting of IP address, DHCP and etc.
Then press Next>>
1-7. In WAN Interface Setup, select PPPoE Client for your connection of WAN Access Type
and press Next>>

1-8. In Wireless Basic Setting, select AP Mode and change your SSID name,
then press Next>>
1-9. In Wireless Security, select your setup of wireless security (WEP, WPA) and press
Finished to reboot, and wait for 20 seconds for reboot.

Note: You have to connect ADSL cable with WAN port on Gateway Mode
2. AP Mode Setup (IP Share)

2-1. Install the antenna & power adapter, and then connect the LAN cable with LAN port of
this equipment. Another side of cable line connects with network card of computer. Waiting for
reboot around 20 seconds.
2-2. Open the IE (or other browser) and type http://192.168.1.254 on URL to enter the setup
frame. If you can’t enter to setup frame, please press Reset button around 10 seconds to
restore AP and try to enter again.
2-3. Select the Setup Wizard on the left side of setup frame and press Next>>
2-4. In Operation Mode, select Bridge and press Next>>

2-5. In Time Zone Setting, if you don’t need any change, please press Next>>
2-6. In LAN Interface Setup, you may change the setting of IP address, DHCP and etc. then
press Next>>

2-7. In WAN Interface Setup, select DHCP Client for your connection of WAN Access Type
and press Next>>
2-8. In Wireless Basic Setting, selectAP for your Mode and change your SSID setup, then
press Next>>

2-9. In Wireless Security, select your setup of wireless security (WEP, WPA) and press
Finished to reboot, and wait for 20 seconds for reboot.
2-10. Select the TCP/IP Settings from left side of setup frame and choice LAN Interface.
Then choosing Disable from DHCP and press Apply Changes to reboot around 20 seconds to
complete the setup.

Note: Please connect cable line with LAN port when you use Bridge Mode to connect
IP Share.

3. WISP Mode Setup (IP Share)
3-1. Install the antenna & power adapter, and then connect the LAN cable with LAN port of
this equipment. Another side of cable line connects with network card of computer. Please
wait for reboot around 20 seconds.
3-2. Open the IE (or other browser) and type http://192.168.1.254 on URL to enter the setup
frame. If you can’t enter to setup frame, please press Reset button around 10 seconds to
restore AP and try to enter again.
3-3. Select the Setup Wizard on the left side of setup frame and press Next>>

3-7. In WAN Interface Setup, select PPPoE for your connection of WANAccess Type and
enter User Name & Password which presented by your ISOP. And then press Next>>
Note: Connecting Telecom Access Point usually is based on PPPoE, but in general, a pure
connection is via Static IP or DHCP
Client.

3-8. In Wireless Basic Setting, select Client for your Mode and change your SSID setup, then
press Next>>
3-9. In Wireless Security, select your setup of wireless security (WPA) and press Finished to
reboot around 20 seconds, and wait for 20 seconds for reboot.
Note: Please connect cable line with LAN port when you use WISP Mode.
