*This guidance should be read in conjunction with the IFU supplied with the specic Breathing Circuit, Heater Humidier, AquaNASE® nasal cannulae and the Flow Driver.

Guidance for Use*
1. Select correct size of AquaNASE®
nasal cannulae.
2. Apply AquaNASE® nasal cannulae and
secure neck strap as shown overleaf.
3. Insert humidication chamber onto heater
plate and spike water bag.
4. Attach circuit as shown a-d.
5. Connect heater cable and
temperature probes.
6. Turn on heater and select invasive mode.
7. Set ow at 20L/min and select prescribed
FiO2for 2 minutes.
8. Increase ow to max 70L/min as required
monitoring SpO2and respiratory rate.

Fitting guide
Fit the looped neck
support strap by placing
over patients head and
sliding down around the
neck as shown.
Step 1
Adjust the looped neck
support strap by pulling
one strap through the
clamp as shown.
Step 2
Place the elasticated
strap around the
patients head.
Step 3
Adjust the ends of
the elasticated strap
to secure the device.
