INSTALLATION
The BM15AP2 is designed to be used with an HCI Outreach Support Arm. Third party support arms may
also be used. Installation onto third party support arms will be similar to the HCI Outreach Support Arm.
To install the BM15AP2 onto an Outreach Arm
Do not apply power to the set until the installation is completed. Use only UL listed
Hospital Grade Power Cords.
Install this Television on an arm that has been properly mounted according to the arm and mount
manufacturer’s instructions. Make sure that the arm is locked into its retracted position. If the arm
cannot be locked into its retracted position, raise the outer arm to its highest position to install the
television.
Failure to secure the arm could result in bodily injury.
If hanging the television on a wall, make sure that the wall mount used is rated to carry the full
weight of the television. All HCI televisions utilize standard VESA mounting patterns. Follow the
directions that come with mount.
Failure to follow these steps could result in bodily injury.
1. Remove Shim and Philips screw from the stem at the top of TV.
2. Remove the side panels from the nose of the arm. There are two Allen head screws holding
each side panel in place. Use a Metric 3mm Allen wrench.
**Do not use a standard 7/64 Allen wrench, this will round the screw head.

3. Place Shim onto the nose of arm over thread of Allen screw.
If your Arm has a material thickness of 0.20” you do not need the Shim (discard).
4. Slide stem over shim and place safety plate over stem and tighten Phillips screw.
5. Connect the coax cable from the TV to the coax cable from the arm using the supplies coupler.
Slightly wrench tighten both coax connectors to the coupler just enough that you cannot undo the
connection by hand. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. 1/16 TO 1/8 TURN PAST FINGER TIGHT IS
ENOUGH.

6. Connect the CAT5 cable. If other cables are present connect them at this time.
7. Arrange the cable(s) into the nose.
8. Reinstall the nose covers. Do not over tighten the nose cover screws. Use caution if using a
