GENERAL TIPS
•
The dehumidier should be on a at, level surface, with the control panel facing up before
switching it ON. [Figure 1.1]

OPERATION
HUMIDITY BUTTON
•
Press the ( ) to adjust a desired relave humidity level (%RH)
from 20%RH up to 80%RH.
•
The dehumidier will operate unl the selected %RH is achieved.
POWER BUTTON
•
Press once the ( ) to turn the dehumidier ON or OFF.
DISPLAY
•
The display shows current relave humidity (%RH) in air.
SLEEP & LIGHT BUTTON
•
In sleep mode, the dehumidier runs quietly on lowest fan speed and all
indicators turn OFF including night light. All the control panel will turn OFF and
the dehumidier will be working in dark-mode.
•
Press once the ( ) to enter the sleep-mode. The sleep indicator will blink for
5 seconds then the dehumidier enters to the sleep-mode.
•
Long press the ( ) for 3 seconds to turn the night light ON or OFF.

DRAINING THE COLLECTED WATER
When the water tank is full (approx. 900ml of water collected), the dehumidier will
automacally turn OFF and the LED light will start ashing.
1. Switch o the dehumidier and remove the water tank. [Figure 2.1]
2. Remove the water tank cover. [Figure 2.2]
3. Drain the collected water from the water tank. [Figure 2.3]
4. Replace back the water tank cover. [Figure 2.4]
5. Put the water tank to the appliance. [Figure 2.5]

•
When using a drain hose, the collected water is drained out of the drain hose outlet.
•
The connected hose must be sloping downwards as the drain hose outlet does not
operate with pump.
•
Open the drain hose outlet and connect the hose. [Figure 2.6]
•
Place the end of the drain hose at a suitable drain.

For beer performance of the dehumidier, Arovec recommends to perform basic and deep
cleaning of AroDry-1800 regularly. Always unplug the dehumidier before you clean it. DO NOT
use any harsh cleaning agents e.g. bleach or alcohol to clean any part of the dehumidier.
•
It is recommended to perform basic cleaning the dehumidier every day.
•
Drain collected water from the water tank.
•
Wipe down the outside of dehumidier and water tank with a so and clean cloth.
•
It is recommended to perform deep cleaning the dehumidier at least once a month and
before/aer storing it for long periods of me. You should also deep clean if there is any
mould or scale build-up inside the water tank.
•
Switch o the dehumidier and remove the water tank.
•
Wash and clean the water tank and its cover. Then, wipe down and dry the water tank and its
cover.
•
Leave the empty water tank open for at least one hour to remove any bad smells.
•
Put the water tank back to the dehumidier.
CLEANING & CARE
•
If not using the dehumidier for an extended period of me, it’s a good idea to clean and
wrap the dehumidier in plasc packaging and store in a dry place to avoid moisture damage.
•
Ensure that the dehumidier is turned o and unplugged.
•
Store the dehumidier in an upright posion. Do not store anything on the top of
dehumidier
To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled
waste disposal, separate the unneeded dehumidier and its related accessories
from other types of wastes. Ask your local council where to dispose of your dehu-
midier and its related accessories. You should not throw your dehumidier and
its related accessories away with the daily normal household waste.

within the rst 14 days of original purchase.
Arovec dehumidiers are designed and manufactured to the highest quality standards. Your
dehumidier is covered for 2 year warranty, which includes 1-year standard warranty and
1-addional year, from the date of original purchase.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
In addion to your rights under the Arovec warranty, you are also covered by guarantees
under Australian Customer Law. The Arovec warranty is only available in Australia.
In Australia our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian
Customer Law. You are entled to replacement or refund for a major failure and compensaon
for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entled to have the goods
repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and failure does not amount
to a major failure.
•
The repair or replacement of your Arovec dehumidier (at Arovec’s discreon) if the
product if found to be defecve due to faulty manufacture. Arovec reserves the right to
determine if the fault requires a replacement or repair.
•
Packaging and instrucons of a faulty dehumidier may also be replaced if damaged.
•
This warranty is valid for using your dehumidier within Australia.
•
This warranty is valid for personal use only.
•
Warranes are limited to the 2 year (1-year standard and 1-addional year) from the date
of original purchase.

Using your dehumidier for commercial purposes or anything other than normal
domesc use.

Using your dehumidier outside of Australia.

Accidental damage or faults caused by neglect, misuse, vandalism and abuse.
