PRODUCT DESCRIPTION DEFAULT SETTINGS
2.1 DEFAULT DMX CHANNELS
The DMX channels in a standard setting
DMX FUNCTION DESCRIPTION FUNCTION
1 Dimming 0–100% active
2 0% - halogen dimming, 1-99% - Strobo, 100% - LED dimming inactive
The luminaire is by default set as one channel device with active working light func-
tion (worklight). Only the intensity is controlled!
According to the above DMX table it is apparent that the luminaire may also have two
DMX channels. The second DMX channel may be activated by the user himself or the
user can ask his supplier to activate the second DMX channel already when purchasing
the luminaire.
2.2 WORKLIGHT FUNCTION
If the Worklight function is active (default setting), then the luminaire will light up to
100 % when connected to the electric power mains. ATTENTION! For a period of 1-2
seconds when connected to the 230V electric power mains the luminaire does not re-
spond (charging of the electronics) and then gently starts up in a time of 1 second. If
you want to dim the luminaire continuously, then connect to the input XLR connector
the DMX signal. As soon as the luminaire detects the DMX signal then it turns off (if no
DMX values available) or changes to the set level, which is sent to by an external DMX
controller. From this moment on you can continuously dim the luminaire by the external
DMX controller from 0-100 %. If you interrupt the DMX signal, or you switch it off, then
the luminaire will start again to behave like an ordinary unregulated working light.
If the Worklight function is switched off, then the luminaire will do nothing after connec-
tion to the electric power mains. It is waiting to get some value on its DMX channel and
according to this value it responds. In practice this means that without a source of DMX
signal the luminaire can not be lighted up.

Malfunctions due to wrong setting.
If your luminaires are lighting with strobo effect when dimming then you shall check
whether the strobo channel is active. If yes then change the symbol 6.c.1 to 6.c.0.
If your luminaire after connection to the electric power mains does not light, then check
whether the Worklight function is not deactivated. If yes then change the symbol 7.c.0
to 7.c.1.
2.5 LIGHT INTENSITY / BLOCKED DMX INPUT
LIGHT INTENSITY OF THE LUMINAIRE WITH BLOCKED DMX INPUT.
This function should be used only when you do not want to use the Worklight func-
tion. The input DMX signal is blocked after selection of this function!
1. Using the buttons UP and DOWN set the DMX address 1.
2. Wait for confirmation (flashing) and press the button DOWN and hold it down until
the luminaire will switch into service mode.
3. On the display appears C.01. Each additional pressing of the button DOWN will
move the value “Intensity” by one unit up as far as to C.30 (C.02; C.03; C.04 … C.30).
4. If the luminaire is switched off at the moment when your display shows the value
C.02, then when the luminaire will be switched on it will be lighted on at the total
output of about 7%. If the display shows the value C.03 then the luminaire will il-
luminate on at approximately 10% of the total output.
5. You can leave this function by repeatedly pressing the button or by holding down
the buttons UP and DOWN.

“hold down button DOWN”)
Use of the equipment:
The luminaire WL-150 DIM is designed for
the working and stage/studio lighting of the
interiors.
Protection against electric shock:
The metal parts of the spotlight are conduc-
tive interconnected and the fixture is con-
nected by a terminal to the protective sys-
tem of the network.
The luminaire has the protection class of
IP 40, which ensures sufficient protection
against contact with live parts, but it does
not protect your luminaire against ingress of
water into the luminaire. The luminaire is not
designed for use in outdoor or wet areas.
The connection and putting into operation of
the fixture should be made only by qualified
electrical technicians by course of the regu-
lation 50/78 Col.
Installation, assembly:
Installation, assembly:
The luminaire is equipped with yoke with
screw holes for M10 screws. It is assumed
that one of the luminaire holders will be at-
tached with screws M 10 to the luminaire
yoke or that the luminaire will be attached
by means of screws directly to the structure
or to the wall.
The safety standard for the luminaires re-
quires additional fall protection, for this pur-
pose the luminaire is equipped on the sides
with two holes. Through these holes a safe-
ty cable is run, which must be attached to a
fixed structure.
The power supply is secured with a mov-
able lead cable - flexible cable 3 x 0,75
mm2, length 1,5 m, equipped with a plug
of a Schuko type. On the luminaire sides are
locking nuts enabling setting of the fixture in
the required working position.
Operation:
Because the fixture is at the same time a
heat source, it is necessary to secure the
heat dissipation (e.g. by due space in which
the fixture is used).
OTHER INSTRUCTIONS

WL 150 DIM / USER MANUAL / ENGLISH
9
Handling:
The fixture is delivered in a transportation
packing and because of its weight manual
handling is supposed with observing the
instructions on the packing (fragile goods).
Store in dry and non-dusting warehouse
at the temperature range of –10°C up to +
35°C.
Maintenance:
On the electric equipment of the fixture
should work only qualified electrical techni-
cians according to the regulation 50/78 Col.
The fixture cleaning can be made with a dry
or damped cleaning cloth. When doing any
maintenance, cleaning or replacing the light
source the fixture must be disconnected
from the power supply and time must be
given to cool down. The service and repairs
of the luminaire may only be performed by
the manufacturer. Any unauthorized modi-
fications to the functional unit of the lumi-
naire may damage the luminaire. In such
cases the warranty becomes invalid.
Disassembly and disposal:
The disconnecting of the power supply
should be done only by a qualified electri-
cal technicians according to the regulation
50/78 Col. The disposing will be made by
separation of the individual fixture materi-
als and their scraping. The non-functional
light sources have to be disposed according
to the valid regulations concerning the envi-
ronmental protection.
Instructions for training:
The fixture may be operated by trained per-
sons according to the regulation 50/78 Col.
When using the fixture the instructions of
this Operation manual have to be observed.
Operating conditions:
It is forbidden to hang on the fixture any
objects (except the intended fixture acces-
sories) and to wash the fixture with a water
stream. The fixture is designed for a tem-
perature range of -10°C up to +40°C. The
fixture may be positioned only without reach
of the common handling and apart from the
flammable materials.
The suspension hook (optional accessory,
e.g. 30.01.034) has to be rated at tenfold of
the fixture weight without permanent de-
formation. The fixture must be positioned at
least 0,1 m apart from the flammable ma-
terials.
Forbidden handling:
You shall use the fixture only for the purpos-
es described in this operation manual.
Do not use the fixture if the supply cable has
been damaged, if the fixture does not func-
tions properly or is damaged.
