Montage- und Wartungsarbeiten sind
nur mit Originalteilen durchzuführen. Für die
Installation und den Betrieb sind die nati-
onalen und internationalen Vorschriften zu
beachten. Werden nachträglich Änderungen
an Leuchten vorgenommen, so gilt derjenige
als Hersteller, der diese Änderungen vor-
nimmt. Hess Licht + Form übernimmt keine
Haftung für Schäden, die durch unsach-
gemäßen Einsatz entstehen. Montage nur
durch Fachpersonal.

zierten Elektroplaner.

National and international regulations and
laws apply to the installation and opera-
tion of this lighting fixture. If modifications
are made to the luminaire, the party who
made the modifications shall be considered
the legal manufacturer thereafter. Hess
Licht + Form does not accept liability for
any damages that occur due to improper or
unskilled actions. Only qualified persons are
permitted to install and assemble products
obtained from Hess Licht + Form.
Only a certified electrical planner is quali-
fied to provide the electrical plans for this
product.

Warnung:
Blitzschlag kann zur Beschädigung der
Leuchten führen, deshalb wird emp-
fohlen, die Leuchten in bauseitige
Blitzschutzmaßnahmen einzubeziehen.
Die Leuchte ist geprüft auf 4 KV;
Blitzschutzmaßnahmen in Außenanlagen
werden empfohlen.
Zusätzlich wird empfohlen, die Leuchte mit
einem FI-Schutzschalter (bauseits) zu betrei-
ben.
Die Leuchte ist ausschließlich für den Einbau
in Handläufen vorgesehen.
Keine freie Installation.
Bestimmungsgemäßer Einsatzbereich der
Geländerleuchten:
- LEDIA GL XXXX D: IP 65 SK III
- LEDIA GL XXXX A: IP 65 SK I
Keine Schweißarbeiten bei eingebauter
Leuchte am Geländer durchführen.
Bei LEDIA GL XXXX D sind ausschließlich
Trafo´s mit galvanischer Trennung zu ver-
wenden
Die Leuchten eignen sich nicht für den verti-
kalen Einbau!
Die Leuchten dürfen nicht in einen
Holzhandlauf eingebaut werden!
Betrieb mit erhöhter Spannung führt zu einer
Reduktion der Lebensdauer
Keine direkte Reinigung mit dem
Hochdruckreiniger in unmittelbarer Nähe der
Leuchte.
Leuchten dürfen nicht mechanisch nachge-
arbeitet werden.
Mechanische, sowie chemische oder elek-
tronische Nachbearbeitung am Geländer ist
nicht erlaubt.
Manuelle Reinigung einer verschmutzen
Leuchte ausschließlich mit Spiritus und
Mikrofasertuch.
- keine aggressiven Reinigungsmittel ver-
wenden.

Caution:
To prevent damage to the lighting fixtures, a
suitable means of lightning protection must
be provided (by others). This luminaire has
been tested for 4 kV voltage surge protec-
tion. Lightning protection systems are sug-
gested for outdoor installations.
Do not operate the lighting fixture without
a residual current device (RCD) or a residual
current circuit breaker (RCCB) (provided by
others).
The lighting fixtures are solely intended for
use in handrailing. They are not intended for
uncovered use.
The lighting fixtures are approved for hand-
railing installation and use for the following
classes:
- LEDIA GL XXXX D:
Ingress protection IP 65
Protection rating III
- LEDIA GL XXXX A:
Ingress protection IP 65
Protection rating I
Do not perform welding work on the railing if
the lighting fixtures are already installed in
the railing.
Only use transformers with metallic or elec-
trical isolation with LEDIA GL XXXX D.
The luminaires are not suitable for vertical
mounting !
The luminaires must not be installed into a
wooden handrail !
Operation of the lighting fixtures with high
voltage will reduce the lifespan of the LEDs.
When using a pressure washer to clean the
hand railing, avoid directly spraying the
handrail lighting fixtures.
Do not use power or hand tools to modify the
luminaires.
Do not use power or hand tools, chemical
substances or electronic welding on the
hand railing.
To clean the luminaires, use only a micro-
fibre cloth and spirits. Never use aggressive
cleaning agents.

Nous conseillons, en conséquence, de pré-
voir l’installation d’un dispositif parafoudre
sur le site. Le luminaire est homologué
pour une tension de 4 kV ; il est conseillé
de prendre des mesures de protection

Nous recommandons, par ailleurs, d’utiliser
le luminaire avec un disjoncteur différentiel
(sur site).
Le luminaire est exclusivement prévu pour
son installation dans des mains courantes.
Aucune installation en plein air.

Ne pas effectuer de travaux de soudure sur
la rambarde avec un luminaire encastré
Seuls des transformateurs équipés d’une
isolation galvanique doivent être utilisés
avec les luminaires LEDIA GL XXXX D
Les luminaires ne conviennent pas à un
montage vertical !
Les luminaires ne doivent pas être montés
dans une main courante en bois !
Un fonctionnement avec une tension élevée
engendre une diminution de la durée de
vie.
Pas de nettoyage direct avec un nettoyeur
haute pression
(Kärcher) à proximité directe du luminaire.
Les luminaires ne doivent pas subir de
retouches mécaniques.
Des retouches chimiques ou électroniques
sur la balustrade ne sont pas autorisées.
En cas de salissure d´un luminaire, netto-
yage manuel de celui-ci exclusivement avec
de l´alcool à brûler et un chiffon microfibre
– ne pas utiliser des détergents agressifs.

No realice trabajos de soldadura si las lumi-
narias están montadas en barandas
En LEDIA GL XXXX D sólo han de utilizarse
transformadores con separación galvánica
Las luminarias no son aptas para la instala-
ción vertical!
Las luminarias no pueden ser instaladas en
un pasamanos de madera!
Si se utiliza una tensión superior, se reduce
la vida útil
Ninguna limpieza directa con el limpiador de
alta presión cerca de la luminaria.
Las luminarias no deben repasarse mecáni-
camente.
Se prohíben repasos mecánicos, químicos o
electrónicos en la barandilla.
La limpieza manual de una luminaria sucia
sólo debe efectuarse con alcohol y un paño
de microfibras
- no utilizar agentes de limpieza agresivos

LED-Modul: Risikogruppe 2, nicht in

Die Leuchte ist so zu positionieren, dass
längeres in die Leuchte schauen in einem
geringeren Abstand als 0,4m nicht zu erwar-
ten ist.

Position the luminaire to avoid extended
viewing into the luminaire at a distance of
less than 0,4m.

Attenzione:
I fulmini possono danneggiare gli apparec-
chi, per questo si consiglia di installarli in
impianti antifulmine predisposti in loco.
L‘apparecchio è omologato per 4kV; in
esterno si consiglia l‘impiego di impianti
antifulmine.
Inoltre, si consiglia di far funzionare gli
apparecchi con un interruttore automatico FI
(a cura del cliente).
L’apparecchio è concepito solamente per
l’installazione in corrimano.
Nessuna installazione libera.
Settore d’impiego conforme degli apparecchi
per ringhiere:
- LEDIA GL XXXX D: IP 65 classe di iso-
lamento III
- LEDIA GL XXXX A: IP 65 classe di iso-
lamento I
Non eseguire alcuna saldatura in caso di
apparecchi installati nella ringhiera.
Con LEDIA GL XXXX D devono essere utilizzati
esclusivamente trasformatori con separazio-
ne galvanica.
Le lampade non sono adatte per una instal-
lazione verticale !
Le lampade non sono adatte per una instal-
lazione in corrimano di legno !
Il funzionamento con tensione elevata causa
una riduzione della durata.
Non pulire direttamente con pulitore ad
alta pressione nelle immediate vicinanze
dell‘apparecchio
Gli apparecchi non devono essere modificati
meccanicamente.
Modifiche meccaniche, chimiche o elettro-
niche sul corrimano non sono ammesse.
Pulire manualmente un apparecchio sporco
esclusivamente con un panno in microfibra e
alcol, non utilizzare detergenti aggressivi.

VORSICHT: Zerstörungsgefahr. Spannung vom Transformator
zur 1. LEDIA muss der eingetragenen Betriebsspannung auf dem
Typenschild entsprechen. Spannungsverluste durch lange Zuleitungen
können durch das am Transformater vorhandene Potentiometer nachge-
regelt werden.
CAUTION! To avoid damage, the voltage from the transformer
to the first LEDIA must correspond to the stipulated operating volt-
age appearing on the type identification plate. Voltage loss due to
increased supply lead lengths can be compensated for by means of the
pontentiometer-type rheostat located on the transformer.
ATTENTION ! Risque de destruction. La tension du transformateur
jusqu’à la première LEDIA doit correspondre à la tension de service
indiquée sur l’étiquette de référence. Les pertes de tension dues à des
conduites trop longues peuvent être réajustées via le potentiomètre qui
se trouve sur le transformateur.
¡ATENCIÓN! Peligro de destrucción. La tensión desde el trans-
formador hasta la 1ª LEDIA debe corresponder a la tensión de trabajo
indicada en la placa de características. Las pérdidas de tensión por un
cableado demasiado extenso se pueden corregir mediante el potenció-
metro provisto en el transformador.

tore al 1° apparecchio LEDIA deve corrispondere alla tensione di eserci-
zio indicata sulla targhetta. La dispersione della tensione dovuta a cavi
