16-Port Managed Gigabit Ethernet Switches
The IntraCore 35160 Series is Asante’s most powerful, non-blocking, Layer
2 Gigabit Ethernet switches. Each model delivers a full 10/100/1000 Mbps
of performance to each of the 16 ports. Choose the model that best fits
your network architecture.
IC35160-T is our most popular configuration for replacing legacy 10/100
Fast Ethernet switches. On four ports (13, 14, 15 and 16), the switch can
connect with long-distance fiber backbones using optional GBIC modules.
When both copper and GBICs are used on the same ports, the GBIC has
priority and will auto failover to the RJ45 port.
IC35160-G is our workhorse for connecting almost any combination of
Gigabit copper and fiber cables. Fill up to 16 GBIC garages with fiber
modules. Ports are physically staggered across the switch for easier
access. Four ports can also handle 10/100/1000BaseT copper.
Gigabit Performance. Manage your Gigabit throughput on every port using
any combination of virtual LANs (VLANs), quality of service (QoS) priorities
and jumbo frames to handle data/voice/video over Ethernet/IP. Run VoIP
and IP multicasting with IGMP.
Advanced Security. Lock down security per-port or per-MAC address using
station move and duplicate IP detection services. Enforce authentication
for both wired and wireless clients using port-based or MAC-based IEEE
802.1X and RADIUS servers.
Comprehensive Management. Choose web (HTTP), Telnet/CLI or
SNMP/RMON. Through the console port, configure the switch out-of-band
using a menu-driven command line interface. Monitor traffic by port
mirroring. Control system start-up by choosing from dual banks of
firmware.
