Grounding requirement
Your refrigeratormust be grounded. Your refrigeratorisequipped withacordhavingagroundingwirewithagrounding
plug.The plugmustbe insertedintoan outlet that iscorrectlyinstalled and grounded.
Incorrectuseof the grounding plug canresultin ariskof electric shock.Consultaqualified electrician or serviceperson if
the grounding instructionsarenotcompletelyunderstood,orifdoubtexistsastowhetheryourrefrigeratoris
correctlygroundedElectrical Connection ~WARNING~
Improperuseofthegroundedplug canresultinthe riskofelectrical shock.Ifthepowercordisdamaged,haveit
replaced byan authorized service center.
Thisrefrigeratorshouldbeproperlygroundedforyoursafety.The powercordofthisrefrigeratorisequippedwitha
three-prong plugwhichmateswithstandardthree prongwall outletstominimizethe possibilityof electricalshock.
Donot, underanycircumstances,cut or removethethirdground prong fromthe power cordsupplied.
Thisrefrigerator requiresastandard115V A.C. ~/60Hz electrical outlet withthree-prong ground.
Thisrefrigerator isnot designedtobeused withaninverter.
The cordshould be secured behindtherefrigerator andnot left exposed or dangling toprevent accidentalinjury.
Neverunplugthe refrigeratorbypullingthe powercord.Alwaysgrip the plug firmlyand pullstraightoutfromthe
receptacle.
Donotusean extension cordwiththisappliance.If thepowercordistoo short, haveaqualifiedelectrician orservice
technicianinstall anoutletneartheappliance.Useofanextension cordcannegativelyaffecttheperformanceofthe
unit.

Locks
If yourRefrigerator isfittedwitha lock, keep the keyout of reach and notin the vicinityof theappliancetopreventchildren
beingentrapped.When disposing of an old Refrigerator, breakoff anyoldlocksorlatchesasasafeguard.
Freon-free
The freon-freerefrigerant(R600a)andthe foaminginsulationmaterial(cyclopentane)thatis environmentallyfriendlyare
usedfortherefrigerator,causing nodamagetotheozonelayerandhavingaverysmallimpacton theglobalwarming.
R600a isflammable,and sealed in arefrigeration system,withoutleakageduring normaluse.But, in caseofrefrigerant
leakage due totherefrigerantcircuitbeingdamaged,be suretokeep the applianceawayfromopen flamesand openthe
windowsfor ventilationasquicklyaspossible.

Preparationsfor use
Installation location
1.Ventilationcondition
The position you selectfortherefrigeratorinstallationshouldbe well-ventilated and haslesshotair. Donotlocatethe
refrigeratornearaheatsourcesuchascooker,boiler, and avoiditfromdirectsunlight, thusguaranteeingthe
refrigerationeffectwhilesavingenergyconsumption.Donotlocatetherefrigerator in thedampplace,soastoprevent
the refrigeratorfromrusting andleaking electricity.Theresultofthe totalspaceofthe roomin whichthe refrigeratoris
installed beingdivided bytherefrigerantcharge amount of therefrigerator shallnotbe lessthan 8g/ M3.
Note: The amount of refrigerant chargedforthe refrigerator can be found on the nameplate.
2.Heat dissipation space
Whenworking,therefrigerator givesoffheattosurroundings. Therefore,atleast300 mm(12inch)offree spaceshould
be sparedatthetop side,morethan 100mm(4inch)on bothsides,andabove30 mm(1inch)atthesideofthe
refrigerator.

Level ground
Placethe refrigerator on the solid and flatground (floor) tokeep it stable, orelse, it will giverisetovibration and noise.

Whenthe refrigeratorisplaced on suchflooring materialsascarpet, strawmat, polyvinylchloride,the solid backing plates
should beapplied underneaththe refrigerator, soastoprevent colorchange due toheat dissipation.
Unobstructedventilationshall be maintainedaroundtheappliance orinanembeddedstructure.
Preparationsforuse
1.Standing time
Aftertherefrigeratorisproperlyinstalled and well cleaned,do notswitchiton immediately.Makesuretoenergizethe
refrigeratoraftermorethan1hour ofstanding,soastoensureitsnormal operation.
2.Cleaning
Confirmthe accessorypartsinsidethe refrigerator andwipe the insidewithasoft cloth.
3.Power-on
Inserttheplugintothesolidsockettostartthecompressor.After1hour, openthe freezerdoor,ifthetemperatureinside
the freezer compartment dropsobviously,it indicatesthe refrigeration systemisworkingnormally.
4.Storage of food
Aftertherefrigeratorrunsforaperiodoftime,the internaltemperatureofthe refrigeratorwill beautomaticallycontrolled
accordingtotheuser stemperaturesetting.Afterthe refrigeratorisfullycooled,putin foods,whichusuallyneed2~3
hourstobefullycooled.Insummer,when thetemperatureis high,ittakesmorethan4hoursforthefoodstobefully
cooled (Trytoopentherefrigerator door aslessaspossible beforethe internaltemperaturecoolsdown).
If therefrigeratorisinstalledin themoistureplace,makesuretocheckwhetherthegroundwireandleakage circuit
breakerarenormal.If vibrationnoisesareproduced due totherefrigeratorcontacting thewall orifthe wall getsblackened
byair convectionaround the compressor, movethe refrigerator awayfromthe wall. Setting up the refrigerator maycause
jammingnoiseorimage chaostothe mobilephone,fixed-line telephone,radioreceiver, television setsurrounding it,so
trytokeep therefrigerator asfar awayaspossible in suchcase.
Functions
START
When therefrigeratorispoweredonforthe firsttime,the indicatorlightsofTemp.mode getfullyilluminatedfor2seconds.After
that,the refrigeratorwill run at Mode 5 by default.
Door-openovertimealarm
Whenthe fridgedoor iskept open formorethan 3minutes,alarmsoundswill be issued bythe buzzer.
Pressing"SET"controlkeywill suspend the alarmfor3minutes.Whenthefridge dooris closed, thealarmgetsstopped.
Fridgetemperature adjustment
Temperaturecanbe adjusted bypressing the SET key. Inthe case of temperatureadjustment,the indicatorlight of the
corresponding temperaturemodegetsflashing; andif nokey operationwithin 5s,the settingwill bevalidated. The temperature
adjustment cycles inthefollowing manner:Mode 5→6→8→FASTCOOL→2→4→5→6.
FAST COOL
The refrigeratortemperatureis cooled downin a quick manner,soastoensurefoodnutritiongetsnot lost and tastes arefresh.
The FastCoolfunctionkeepsworking foramaximumperiod of3hours.Afterthat,itwillautomaticallyexit,withthetemperature
mode restoredtothat setbeforethe Fast Coolfunctionis enabled.

Freezertemperatureadjustment
1.Whenthefridgetemperaturecontrolgearremainsthesame,adjustthe freezerairadjustmentlevertotheposition
"MAX"toprovidethemaximumamountofcoolair,thusmakingthetemperatureinsidethe freezercompartmentthe
lowest.
2.Whenthe fridgetemperaturecontrolgearremainsthe same,adjustthefreezerairadjustmentlevertothe position
"MIN"toprovide the minimumamountofcool air, thusmakingthe temperatureinside the freezercompartmentthe
highest.

During theactual use,the freezerairadjustmentlevermaygetfrozen asaresultofhigh humidityorfrequentopening of
the door.Insuchcase,do notadjusttheairleverbyforce.Instead,you aresuggested toheattheairadjustmentlever
locallyusingahot towel tomakethefrozenairlever thawbeforeadjustingit,soastoavoidit frombeingdamaged.

Precautionsforuse
lThe appliancemightnotoperateconsistently(thereispossibilityofdefrostingortemperaturebecomingtoowarmin
the frozen foodcompartment)when sitedforanextended periodoftimebelowthecoldlimitofthetemperature
range for whichthe refrigeratingapplianceis designed

lThe internaltemperaturecould be affected bysuchfactorsasthe location ofrefrigerating appliance,ambient
temperature,andfrequencyofdooropen,etc., and ifappropriate,awarningthatsetting ofanytemperaturecontrol
device might havetobe varied toallowfor thesefactorsshould bemade.
lEffervescent drinksshould notbe storedinthe freezercompartment or the low-temperaturecompartment, andsome
productssuchaswater icesshouldnotbe consumed too cold.
Food storage location
Due tothecold aircirculationin therefrigerator,thetemperatureofeachareainthe refrigeratorisdifferent, sodifferent
kindsof foodshould beplaced in different areas.
The freshfood compartmentissuitable forthe storage ofsuchfoodsasneed nottobe frozen,the cooked food,beer,
eggs,somecondimentsthatneed coldpreservation, milk,fruitjuice,etc. The crisperboxis suitable for the preservation of
vegetables,fruits,etc.
The freezercompartmentissuitableforthestorageoficecream,frozenfood andthefoodstobe preserved foralong
time.
Use of thefresh food compartment
Setthe temperatureofthefreshfood storage compartmentbetween 2 ~8 (35.6℉~46.4℉),andstorethefoods
that areintended for short-termstorage, or tobeeaten at anytimein the freshfoodcompartment.
Fridgeshelf:Whenremovingthe shelf, liftitupfirst,andthenpullit out;andwhen installing the shelf, placeitintoposition
beforeputtingitdown.(Forthetwo-sectionshelf,pushthe firstsectiontotherearend,andthenpullthesecondsection
out). Keep theshelf rear flange upward,toprevent foodsfromcontactthe liner wall.When taking outorputting in theshelf,
hold it firmly, and handle withcaretoavoiddamage.
Crisper box:Pull outthe crisperboxforaccess tofood.Afterusingor cleaningthe coverplateofthe crisper box,be sure
toputit backontothe crisper, sothat theinternal temperatureof thecrisper boxwill not beaffected.
Cautions forfood storage
You dbetter cleanthe foodsand wipe themdrybeforestoringtheminside therefrigerator. Beforefoodsareputin the
refrigerator, it isadvisable toseal themup,soastopreventwater evaporationtokeep freshfruitsand vegetables on one
hand,and preventtaint ofodoron theother hand.
Donotputtoo manyortooweightfoodsinsidethe refrigerator. Keep enoughspacebetween foods;iftooclose,the cold
airflowwill beblocked,thusaffectingtherefrigerationeffect. Donotstoreexcessiveoroverweightfoods,toavoidthe
shelffrombeing crushed.When storingthe foods,keep adistanceawayfromthe innerwall;and donotplacethe
water-rich foodstoo closetothefridge rear wall, lest theyget frozen on the inner wall.
Categorizedstorage offoods:Foodsshould bestored bycategory,withthe foodsyou eat everydayplaced in frontofthe
shelf, sothat thedoor open durationcanbe shortened and food spoilage duetoexpiration can be avoid.
Energy-savingtips:Allowthe hotfoodcool downtothe roomtemperaturebeforeputting itin the refrigerator. Putthe
frozen foodin thefreshfood compartmenttothaw,using the lowtemperatureofthefrozen foodtocool the freshfood,
thussavingenergy.
Storage of fruitsandvegetables
Inthecaseofrefrigeratingapplianceswithchill compartment,astatementtotheeffectthatsometypesoffresh
vegetablesandfruitsaresensitivetocoldand thereforearenot suitableforstorage in thiskind ofcompartmentshouldbe
made.
Use of thefrozenfood storage compartment
The freezertemperature iscontrolledbelow-18 (64.4℉), and itisadvisabletostore thefood forlong-termpreservation
in thefreezercompartment, but the storage duration indicatedon the food packaging shouldbe adhered to.
The freezer drawersareused tostorefood thatneedstobe frozen. Fishand meatoflarge blocksizeshould becut into
small piecesand packedintofresh-keepingbagsbeforetheyareevenlydistributed insidethe freezerdrawers.
★Allowthe hot foodstocool downtothe roomtemperaturebeforeputtingtheminthefreezer compartment.
★Donotputaglasscontainerwithliquid orthecanned liquid thatissealedin the freezercompartment, soastoavoid
burstdue tovolumeexpansionafter the liquid getsfrozen up.

★Divide thefoodintoappropriatelysmallportions
★You dbetter packthefood upbeforefreezing it,andthe packing bagusedshouldbe dry, in casethepackingbagsare
frozen together. Foodsshould be packed orcovered bysuchsuitable materialsasarefirm,tasteless,impervioustoair
and water, non-toxic andpollution-free, toavoid cross-contaminationandtransferof odor.
Tips forshopping thefrozenfoods
1.Whenyou arebuyingfrozen food,lookatthe StorageGuidelinesonthepackaging. You will be able tostoreeachitem
of frozenfoodfortheperiodshownagainstthe starrating.Thisisusuallytheperiodstatedas “Besttousethembefore×”,
found on the front of thepackaging.
2.Checkthetemperatureof thefrozen food cabinetin the shop whereyou buythe frozenfoods.
3.Makesurethe frozen food package is in perfect condition.
4.Alwaysbuyfrozen productslast onyourshoppingtripor visit tothe supermarket.
5.Trytokeep frozen food together whilstshopping and onthe journeyhome, asthis will help tokeep the food cooler.
6.Don tbuyfrozen foodunless you canfreezeit straight away. Specialinsulatedbagscan be boughtfrommost
supermarketsandhardwareshops. Thesekeepthefrozen foodscold longer.
7.Forsomefoods,thawing beforecooking isunnecessary.Vegetablesandpastacan be added directlytoboiling wateror
steamcooked.Frozen saucesand soupscan be put intoasaucepan and heatedgentlyuntilthawed.
8.Usequalityfoodandhandleit aslittle aspossible.Whenfoodsarefrozenin smallquantities, it will takelessthan for
themtofreezeup and thaw.
9.Estimatetheamount of foodstobe frozenup.Whenfreezing large amountsof freshfood, adjust the temperature
control knobtothe lowmode,withthe freezertemperaturelowered. So, foodscanbe frozen up in fastmanner, withthe
food freshnesswell kept.
Tipsfor specialneeds
Moving the refrigerator/freezer
Location
Donotplaceyourrefrigerator/freezernearaheatsource,e.g.cooker, boilerorradiator. Avoid itfromdirectsunlightin
out-buildingsorsunlounges.
Leveling
Makesuretolevelyourrefrigerator/freezerusing thefrontlevelingfeet. Ifnotlevel,therefrigerator/freezerdoorgasket
sealing performancewill be affected, oreven itmaylead tothe operating failureofyour refrigerator/freezer.
After locating the refrigerator/freezer in position, wait for4hoursbeforeusing it, soastoallowthe refrigeranttosettle.
Installation
Donotcover orblock the ventsor grillesof yourappliance.
Whenyou areout for alongtime
If theappliancewill not beused forseveralmonths, turnitoff first, and then unplug the plugfromthe wall outlet.
Takeout allfoods.
Cleanand drytheinteriorthoroughly.Topreventodorand moldgrowth,leavethedoorajar:blockitopenorhavethe
door removed if necessary.
Keepthecleaned applianceinadry, ventilatedplaceandawayfromthe heatsource, placetheappliancesmoothly,and
do notplaceheavy objectsontop ofit.
The unitshouldnot be accessibletochild splay.
Maintenance and cleaning
Beforecleaning,unplug thepowerplugfirst;Donotplug inorplugoutthe plug withwethand,because
thereisariskofelectricshock and injury.Donotspillwaterdirectlyon the refrigerator,toavoidrust, electricity
leakageandaccidents.Donotstretchyourhands intothe bottomoftherefrigerator,since you mightbe
scratchedbysharpmetalcorners.
Internalcleaning and external cleaning
The foodresidualsintherefrigeratorareliabletoproducebad odor,sotherefrigeratormustbecleanedregularly.The
freshfoodcompartment isusuallycleaned onceamonth.
Removeallshelves,crisperbox,bottle racks,coverboard,and drawersetc.,andcleanthemwithasofttowel orsponge
dippedinwarmwater or neutral detergent.
Clear off thedustsaccumulatedon the rear panel andside platesof therefrigeratoroften.
After usingdetergent, besuretorinseit withclean water, andthenwipe it dry.
Donot usebristlebrush, steelwirebrush,detergent, soappowder, alkalinedetergent, benzene,gasoline,
acid, hotwaterandothercorrosiveorsolubleitems tocleanse the cabinet surface, doorgasket, plastic
decorativeparts, etc., soas toavoiddamage.
Carefullywipe drythe doorgasket, clean thegrooveusingawooden chopstickwrappedwithcotton string.Afterthe
cleaning, fixthe four cornersof the doorgasketfirst, andthenembed it segmentbysegment intothedoor groove.
Interruptionofpower supplyorfailureoftherefrigerating system
Takecareofthe frozen foodsin the eventofanextended non-running ofthe refrigeratingappliance(suchasinterruption
of power supplyor failureof therefrigerating system).
Trytoopen the refrigeratordooraslessaspossible,in thiswaycan food safelyand freshlykeptforhourseven inhot
summer.
If you getthepower outage noticeinadvance:

1)Adjustthe thermostatknob tothehighmodeanhourinadvance,sothatfoodsgetfullyfrozen (Donotstorenew
food duringthis time!). Restorethe temperaturemode totheoriginal setting when powersupplybecomesnormal ina
timelymanner.
2)You can also makeice withawatertightcontainer,andput itin theupperpart ofthe freezer,soastoextend the time
for freshfood tobestored.
Note: Once the refrigeratorisused, you’dbetteruse it continuously;and undernormalcircumstance,do not

1. Makesurethatyour refrigerator isunplugged.
2.Prythehingecoverupand off,removethethree
screwsthatsecurethe upperhingetothedoor,then
removethe hinge.
3.Removethe freezercompartmentdoorfromthe
cabinet.
4. Removethe twoscrewsthat securethe center hinge.
5.Removethe refrigeratorcompartment door.
6.Removethefourscrewsthatsecurethe lowerhinge to
the rightsideof the cabinet, then removethehinge.
7.Removethe washerand nut thatsecurethepin shaftto
the rightholeonthelowerhinge,thenremovetheshaft
and pin screw
8.Insertthe pinscrewintothe righthole andinsert the pin
shaft intotheleft hole onthe lowerhinge,, then securethe
shaftwiththe washerandnut.
9. Installthelower hinge on theleftside of thecabinet.
10.Removethescrewthatsecuresthedoorstopsfrom
the bottomrightoftherefrigeratorcompartmentdoor, then
removethe door stopsandinstall tothebottomleft side.
11. Install the refrigeratorcompartment door.
12.Movethe doorbushing fromthetoprightsideofthe
refrigerator doortothe top left sideofthe door.And move
the left hole cover totherightside.
13.Removescrewsandthe centerhingescrewholeplug
on the leftsideofthecabinet, then installinthe screw
holesonthe right side of thecabinet.
14.Installthe centerhinge tothe left side withthe two
screwsyou removed previously.
15.Removethescrewthatsecuresthedoorstopsfrom
the bottomrightofthe freezercompartmentdoor,then
removethe door stopsandinstall tothebottomleft side.
16. Install the freezer compartmentdoor.
17.Movethe doorbushing fromthetoprightsideofthe
freezerdoortothetop leftsideofthedoor.Andmovethe
left hole cover totheright side.
18.Removethescrewthatsecuresthehingescrewhole
coverfromthe topleftsideofthecabinet,removethe
coverandsecuresthecoveron the top rightsideofthe
cabinet.

19.Securetheupperhingetothetopleftsideofthe
cabinetwiththe three screwsyou removed previously.
Beforeyou tightenthe upperhinge screws,makesure
thatthe topofthedoorislevel withthe cabinetandthat
the rubbergasketmakesagood seal.
20.Install the hinge coveroverthe hinge on thetop left
sideof the cabinet.
