Ashly PowerFlex 670 User manual

Powerflex- 670 70 Volt Six Channel Amplifier
The power amplifier shall be a multichannel unit consisting of six
independent channels. Each amplifier shall be able to deliver 200
watts at 70 volts, or or when pairs of channels are bridged, 400
watts at 140 volts. Each individual channel shall be able to drive
70 volt distributed audio lines without the use of an external
transformer. When channels are paired, the paired channels shall
be able to drive 140V distributed audio lines without the use of
external transformers.
The amplifier shall have a gain of 34.0dB (50x) and an input
sensitivity of 1.40 Volts RMS for full rated output. Frequency
response shall be 20Hz to 20kHz +/- 0.5dB. Hum and noise
shall be at least 100dB below full output (A-weighted) and
SMPTE intermodulation distortion shall be less than 0.2%. Total
Harmonic Distortion (20Hz - 20KHz) shall be less than 0.5%.
Each amplifier channel shall be supplied with an input attenua-
tor located on the rear panel input module. Each pair of inputs
shall have a bypassable high pass filter of 12dB/octave at 80Hz,
a switch to select independent or parallel channel mode and a
switch to select normal 70V or bridge 140V mode. There shall
be an input ground switch located on the input module to select
chassis or floating ground operation.
The inputs shall be active balanced design, with an impedance of
10K ohm accessible with euroblock connectors. The outputs shall
be terminated with a screw terminal connector.
Individual channel indicators for protect, thermal overload, clip
and signal present shall be LEDs located on the front panel.
Cooling shall be supplied by a temperature sensitive two-speed
fan drawing air from the front of the unit and exiting through the
rear.
The unit shall be powered from 110 - 125V AC, 220 - 250V
AC, 50/60Hz. Dimensions of the unit shall be 19”L X 5.25”H X
16.5”D. The chassis shall be constructed from 16 gauge steel
with an aluminum face panel and weigh 47lbs.
The unit shall be the Powerflex-670, 70 Volt four channel power
amplifier manufactured by Ashly Audio, Inc.
