Der Pontis Akku Bistrotisch darf nur in technisch einwandfreiem
Zustand und unter Beachtung der Benutzerinformation benutzt
und bedient werden. Der Benutzer verpichtet sich die Sicher-
heitsvorschriften und Warnhinweise in der Benutzerinformation
stets zu beachten. Ergänzend zur Benutzerinformation sind die
allgemeingültigen sowie die örtlichen Regelungen zur Unfall-
verhütung und zum Umweltschutz zu beachten. Bei bestim-
mungswidriger Verwendung des Produktes (also außerhalb des
Einsatzes als Büromöbel) können Gefahren für Leib und Leben
und Sachbeschädigungen auftreten. Aus diesem Grunde ist eine
bestimmungswidrige Verwendung untersagt, die Firma ASS-
MANN BÜROMÖBEL GmbH & CO. KG übernimmt in diesem
Fall keine Haftung für eventuell auftretende Schäden. Außerdem
erlischt die Garantie für ein einwandfreies und funktionsfähiges
Arbeiten der Systemkomponenten.
Folgende Verwendungen werden ebenfalls untersagt:
Heben von Lasten, Verwendung als Aufstiegshilfe/Hebebühne,
Dauerhafte Ablageäche von Gewichten größer als 50 kg, Ver-
wendung im Außenbereich, Verwendung in Feuchträumen.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Bistrotisch nur an die Spannung an-
geschlossen werden darf, die in den technischen Daten / auf den
Herstelleretikett angeben ist. Um Fehlfunktionen zu vermeiden,
dürfen alle Reparaturen nur von autorisierten Werkstätten oder
Service Personal unseres Vorlieferanten vorgenommen werden
(Kontakt über ASSMANN BÜROMÖBEL GmbH & CO. KG in Melle).
Unabhängig von der Belastung darf die auf dem Datenblatt
angegebene Einschaltdauer von 10% (2 min on /18 min off) nicht
überschritten werden, da dies zu einer Überhitzung des Motors
und der Steuerbox führt. Eine Überschreitung der Einschaltdauer
kann die Lebensdauer des Systems deutlich verkürzen. Um dies
zu verhindern, wird die Temperatur innerhalb der Steuerbox über-
prüft und beim überschreiten einer Temperaturgrenze deaktiviert.
Im Display des Handschalters (optional) wird H01 angezeigt!
Nach einer kurzen Abkühlzeit ist eine kurze Verfahrzeit wieder
möglich. Die notwendige Dauer der Abkühlzeit ist vom jeweiligen
Raumklima abhängig.
Vergewissern Sie sich bitte, dass kein Kabel durch den Transport
beschädigt wurde. Schadhafte Teile müssen umgehend durch
gleichwertige Teile ausgetauscht werden.
WARNUNG:
Pontis-Produkte sind nicht resistent gegen Öle die zum Schnei-
den eingesetzt werden.
WARNUNG:
Risiko schwerer Fehlfunktionen und Verletzungsgefahr beim Öffnen
von Pontis-Produkten. Das Öffnen der Motorengehäuse, der Steu-
erungseinheit sowie der Handschalter ist untersagt.
WARNUNG:
Achten Sie darauf, dass sich die Tischplatte nach unten und
oben sowie beim Schwenken frei bewegen kann, ohne mit ande-
ren Gegenständen oder Menschen zu kollidieren.
WARNUNG:
Es dürfen keine Flüssigkeiten in die Steckverbindungen gelangen.
Gefahr eines Kurzschlusses.
WARNUNG:
Mindestabstand zu nebenstehenden Gegenständen min 25 mm.
Verletzungsgefahr durch Quetschung.
WARNUNG:
Dieses Gerät kann von Personen mit verringerten physischen,
sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfah-
rung und Wissen benutzt zu werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder
bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wur-
den und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen. Kinder
dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung und Benutzerwar-
tung dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne Beaufsichtigung durchge-
führt werden.
STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR:
Trennen Sie den Tisch bei allen Wartungs- und
Reinigungsarbeiten vom Akku.

The Pontis battery bistro table may only be used and opera-
ted when in perfect working order and in compliance with the
Instruction sheet. The user undertakes to comply with the safety
regulations and warnings in the Instruction sheet at all times. In
addition to the Instruction sheet, general and local regulations
on accident prevention and environmental protection are to
be complied with. Nonconforming use of the product (i.e. for
purposes other than as ofce furniture) can cause danger to life
and limb, as well as property damage. Nonconforming use is
therefore prohibited, and the company ASSMANN BÜROMÖBEL
GmbH & CO. KG cannot accept any liability for any injury, damage
or losses occurring in such cases. The warranty for correct, trouble-
free operation of the system components is also rendered void in
such cases.
The following uses are likewise prohibited:
Lifting loads, use as a climbing aid or lifting platform, use as a
permanent storage area for weights of more than 50 kg, outdoor
use, use in damp rooms.
Note that the bistro table may only be connected to power sup-
plies with the voltage specied in the technical data and or the
manufacturer‘s label.
To prevent malfunctions, repairs may only be carried out by
authorized repair shops or by our suppliers‘ service personnel.

Regardless of the load, the duty cycle of 10% (2 min on / 18
min off) as indicated on the data sheet may not be exceeded,
since it might cause the motor and the control box to overheat.
Exceeding the duty cycle can signicantly shorten the system‘s
service life. To prevent this, the temperature is checked inside
the control box, and the system is deactivated if the temperature
limit is exceeded. H01 is shown on the display of the hand switch
(optional)! Another brief operation period is possible after a short
cooling-down period. The necessary duration of the cooling-
down period depends on the respective room temperature.
Ensure that none of the cables have been damaged during trans-
port. Defective parts must be replaced immediately with equiva-
lent new parts.
WARNING:
Pontis products are not resistant to oils used for cutting.
WARNING:
Risk of major malfunctions and serious injury when opening
Pontis products. It is prohibited to open the motor
casings, the control box and the hand switch.
WARNING:
Please ensure that the table top can move freely downwards and
upwards and when swivelling without colliding with other objects
or people.
WARNING:
Liquids must not be allowed to leak into the plug connections.
Risk of short circuit.
WARNING:
A minimum distance of 25 mm must be ensured from adjacent
objects. Beware of crushing injuries.
WARNING:
This device can be used by persons with reduced physical, sen-
sory, or mental abilities, or insufcient experience and knowledge,
provided they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the
device, and understand the corresponding resulting hazards.
Do not allow children to play with the device. Cleaning and user
maintenance by children is only permitted under supervision.
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK:
Always disconnect the desk from the accu before starting any
maintenance or cleaning.
