Assembly & Installation Procedure:
INITIAL CHECKS:
1. Is the location level and flat, or will you need packers? Ensure that the area where the
product is to be installed is as level and flat as possible as this can affect the assembly.
2. Important: Do you have a helper? The assembly is more easily completed with more
than one person. If working alone, try clamps (take care not to scratch the product).
UNPACK:
1. When unwrapping, carefully lay out the components on a soft, clean, non-abrasive
surface (e.g. a furniture blanket) so as not to damage them. Lift - do not slide. Sliding
may scratch the pre-finished product.
2. Check the parts received against the above components list to ensure that the correct
product has been ordered. Retain packaging until after all components have been
accounted for.
ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE:
1. (During the assembly process, do not fully tighten any fasteners until complete).
2. Connect parts together as per the ‘Exploded View Drawing’
3. Before tightening fasteners, check for squareness and ensure assembly is not twisted.
4. Carefully tighten all bolts.
*This product must be set in ground and cannot be used free-standing.
INSTALLATION:
1. Check for hidden underground services by contacting www.1100.com.au
2. If fixing down onto existing bitumen or concrete, core drilling is recommended.
3. Into grass or dirt areas, dig holes for concrete footings.
4. Set up the top level (legs vertical) before concreting.
5. Cross holes are provided in the legs for optional reinforcing bars
6. For other situations, be free to call our support team on 1300 889 821 for
recommendations.
INITIAL CLEANING:
1. After unwrapping hardwood slat furniture, wipe the slats with a cloth to remove
excess oil. Allow 72 hours to dry in the sun before use.
2. For other slat types, use a damp soft rag to gently wipe over the furniture item to
clean all finger marks, packaging dust etc from the surfaces. Follow with a dry soft rag.
Please Note: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the product is suitable for the
