• Thewallsocketshallbeinstalledneartheequipmentandshallbe

Care & Cleaning
• Beforeyouliftorrepositionyourmonitor,itisbettertodisconnectthe
cablesandpowercord.Followthecorrectliftingtechniqueswhen
positioningthemonitor.Whenliftingorcarryingthemonitor,graspthe
edgesofthemonitor.Donotliftthedisplaybythestandorthecord.
• Cleaning.Turnyourmonitoroffandunplugthepowercord.Cleanthe
monitorsurfacewithalint-free,non-abrasivecloth.Stubbornstains
mayberemovedwithaclothdampenedwithmildcleaner.
• Avoidusingacleanercontainingalcoholoracetone.Useacleaner
intendedforusewiththeLED.Neverspraycleanerdirectlyonthe
screen,asitmaydripinsidethemonitorandcauseanelectricshock.
The following symptoms are normal with the monitor:
• Thescreenmayflickerduringtheinitialuseduetothenatureofthe
fluorescentlight.TurnoffthePowerSwitchandturnitonagainto
makesurethattheflickerdisappears.
• Youmayfindslightlyunevenbrightnessonthescreendependingon
thedesktoppatternyouuse.
• Whenthesameimageisdisplayedforhours,anafterimageofthe
previousscreenmayremainafterswitchingtheimage.Thescreenwill
recoverslowlyoryoucanturnoffthePowerSwitchforhours.
• Whenthescreenbecomesblackorflashes,orcannotworkanymore,
contactyourdealerorservicecentertofixit.Donotrepairthescreen
byyourself!

1. Humansensor
• Humansensorwilldetectuser’spresenceinfrontofthemonitor
screen.Itwillautomaticallyswitchthemonitorintopowersaving
modewhenitdoesnotdetectanyoneinfrontofthemonitor
withinthe50cmto70cmeffectiverangeforlongerthan60
seconds.Whentheusercomesback,thepowerresumes
automaticallywhenitdetectstheuser’spresence.Thedefault
settingofHumansensoris“Medium”.Usercanadjustthe
sensitivitybasedonhis/herphysiqueortheenvironment.User
couldalsoswitchoffHumansensorfunction.
• Pleasedonotputanyobjectontherightsideofthe
monitortoavoidanyinterference.
• PleasemakesurethattheHumanSensorisnot
placedanywherehigherthantheuser’sshoulder.
2. Button:
• Automaticallyadjusttheimagetoitsoptimizedposition,clock,
andphasebylongpressingthisbuttonfor2-4seconds(forVGA
modeonly).

2.1 Detaching the arm/stand
(for VESA wall mount)
ThedetachablestandofthismonitorisspeciallydesignedforVESAwallmount.
Todetachthearm/stand:
1. Disconnectpowerandsignalcables.Carefullyputthefrontofthe
monitorfacedownonacleantable.
2. Useascrewdrivertoremovethefourscrewsonthearm(Figure1),
andthendetachthearm/standfromthemonitor(Figure2).
• Werecommendthatyoucoverthetablesurfacewithsoftclothtoprevent
damagetothemonitor.
• Holdthestandofthemonitorwhileremovingthescrews.

• Foroptimalviewing,werecommendthatyoulookatthefullfaceofthe
monitor,thenadjustthemonitortotheanglethatismostcomfortable
foryou.
• Holdthestandtopreventthemonitorfromfallingwhenyouchangeits
angle.
• Youcanadjustthemonitor’sanglefrom+22˚to-5˚anditallows160˚
swiveladjustmentfromeitherleftorright.Youcanalsoadjustthe
monitor’sheightwithin+/-11cm.

• To connect the VGA/DVI cable:
a.PlugoneendoftheVGA/DVI/cabletothemonitor’sVGA/DVIjack.
b.ConnecttheotherendoftheVGA/DVIcabletoyourcomputer’sVGA/DVI
jack.
c.TightenthetwoscrewstosecuretheVGA/DVIconnector.
• To connect the audio cable:
Plugoneendoftheaudiocabletothe
monitor’sAudioLine-inPort
.
Connecttheotherendoftheaudiocabletoyour
computer’saudioPort.
• To use the USB ports:Plugthesmallerend(typeB)oftheUSB
upstreamcabletothemonitor’sUSBupstreamport,andthelargerend
(typeA)toyourcomputer’sUSBport.
Whenthesecablesareconnected,youcanchoosethedesiredsignalfromthe
InputSelectitemintheOSDmenu.
