1 Introduction
1.1 Welcome
Thank you for choosing ATEÏS. We here at ATEÏS hope you will enjoy our technology as much as we
enjoyed developing and building it.
This manual is intended to provide the user with the necessary understanding of our system architecture
as well as guide users through the configuration process.
This manual can be updated at any time without prior notice in order to keep it up to date.
If you find errors in this manual or would like to improve on the presentation, feel free to submit mistakes,
suggestions or questions by sending an email.
We hope that this Help File Manual will provide you all the information you need. However if you have
any questions, feel free to contact us.

2 Product Features
2.1 TerraRadio
2.1.1 Overview
Radio and paging integration can be done via TerraRadio, which transmits big amount of radio channels
to the device via embedded web interface, and to achieve vote paging, EVAC paging and normal paging
via cooperating with the intuitive software, TerraServer and other Terra devices, such as Terra IEX, PPM
IT5,etc.
Auto channel update and synchronization are supported when starting up the device. Channel
selections, paging volume adjustment, security protection, parameter setting/storage, and front panel
color display selection can be easily configured through the embedded web interface with a few mouse
clicks. 2.2" LCD color screen displays volume level, IP address, time and configurable messages. When
having substantial amount of devices functioning together, TerraServer also provide quick access to

apply all the latest setting to the TerraRadio.

2.1.2.1 LCD Panel
Display device IP address.
Display volume level (The volume refers to the radio volume instead of the paging volume).
Display time.
Display TerraRadio volume.
Display radio channel's image.
Display radio information or the users' configured messages through web interface.
The "Mute" icon appears when the TerraRadio is in Mute mode (The paging volume is not affected).

2.2 System Functionality
2.2.1 Web Interface
2.2.1.1 Overview
TERRA-RADIO is embedded a web interface that enables users to have direct control to the device
through your favorite internet browser.

2.2.1.2 Panel Layout
Main menu bar:
In this menu you will find the major operations related to your device which allows you to compile the
configuration design and to store the design.

Name / Version:
Display device's name.
Radio name:
Display the name of the radio that is playing at the moment.
Radio information:
Display channel information, such as the name of the song that is now playing. If no radio
information is provided then will display as (null).
Content area:
List the information of the device and the adjustment of each setting.
Save/Cancel:
These buttons are made for users whether to save or to cancel the settings.
2.2.1.3 TERRA-RADIO
Under the "TERRA-RADIO" tab, users can have a detail look of the TERRA-RADIO information, such as
its IP address, channel information and system time, etc.
2.2.1.3.1 Radio Panel
Info:
Title: It displays the name of the radio channel.
Now playing: It displays the information of the channel which is playing at the moment. If no
information is provided, then it displays as (null).
Action: Users can modify the sequences of the channel and the volume.

CH: It displays the sequences of the radio channel.
Radio Name: It displays the name of name of the radio.
Radio Address: It displays the information of the channel which is playing at the moment. If no
information is provided, then it displays as (null).
Setting: Users can edit or delete the channel.
Add: Extra channels can be added by clicking on Add.
2.2.1.3.2 TERRA System
Network:
DHCP: Enables/disables the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol.
MAC Address: It displays the
IP Address: Click to change its IP to fit your network. (Each Terracom device is shipped from the
factory with a default IP address of 192.168.100.1)
Subnet Mask: Depends on the LAN where the Terracom devices located.
Gateway Server: The IP address of the gateway server.
DNS: Check the checkbox to enable the DNS server and type the IP address.
SIP:

Username: Enter the name for TERRA family to identify this device.
SIP Port: Network port for SIP protocol.
RTP Port: Network port for RTP protocol, the value should be an even number.
System Time:
Current Time: It displays the date/time of the system.
2.2.1.4 Setup
Under the "Setup" tab, users can connect TERRA-RADIO with the network and perform all functions
such as GUI setting, channel adding, etc.
2.2.1.4.1 Basic Setting
Network:
DHCP: Enables/disables the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol.
IP Address: Click to change its IP to fit your network. (Each Terracom device is shipped from the
factory with a default IP address of 192.168.100.1)

DNS: Check the checkbox to enable the DNS server and type the IP address.
Radio:
Streaming Buffering Time: Click to change its streaming buffering time.
Reconnect Time: Click to change its reconnecting time.
Paging Vol: Click to change its paging volume (Its volume will not be affected when the channel
volume is in mute mode).
Terra Server IP: Put the in IP address of the Terra Server that the TerraRadio is connected to.
SIP:
Firewall Traversal Mode: For users to choose SIP server or TERRA Net.
Username: Enter the name for TERRA family to identify this device.
SIP Port: Network port for SIP protocol.
RTP Port: Network port for RTP protocol, the value should be an even number.
SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol):
SNMP Service: For users to choose SNMP service.

Location: Select the location where you locate the TERRA-RADIO.
Date/Time: Its Date/Time will be auto .
NTP Client Service: To Enable or Disable the NTP Server.
Server IP/Name: Enter the name/address of the server that TERRA-RADIO is connected to.
IEEE 802.1X:
wap_supplicat: Users can choose to enable or disable the IEEE 802.1X protection.
2.2.1.4.2 GUI Setting
Display Settings:
Channel Color: Select the channel color.
Message Color: Select the color fo the message.
Message Front Size: Select the front size.
Message Text: Type in the message which will be shown on LCD front panel.
2.2.1.4.3 Account Management
Management:
A number of management select functions are listed below, including password changing, adding
user's ID and delete user's ID.

Select Function: A various function management can be changed here, including changing user's
password, add a uers's ID and delete a user's ID.
User's ID: Enter in the desired ID.
Old Password: Enter the old password.
New Password: Enter in the new password.
Re-enter to Confirm: Re-enter the new password to confirm the changes.
2.2.1.5 Update
Firmware:
File upgrade can be updated from here.
Configuration:

Reverse Settings: Click on the "Reverse" button on the low right corner to download the
configuration backup file to your computer.
Store Settings: Choose the file that you want to store and after, click on the "Store" button on the
lower right corner to save the file.
GUI:
Background: Select a picture that you want to display as the background picture on the front color
LCD panel and click on the "upload" button.
802.1X:
802.1X Cert: ca_cert, client_cert and private_key are listed for users to apply in order to meet the
802.1X cert guideline. After, click on the "Store" button to save the changes.
