this spring-loaded SIM slot. To
remove a SIM, press the edge

your computer for internet
access.

The V810A Set-Up Guide
1. Remove the V810 back cover.
2. Install the 4FF Nano SIM card into the spring-loaded SIM slot as the image
shows. To remove a SIM, press the edge of the SIM inward and the SIM
will pop outward from the SIM slot.
Install SIM Card
1. Remove battery cover.
2. Properly align and install the NiMH battery (with three pin sockets). Make
sure to align the pin sockets correctly.
3. Put the NiMH battery in place as shown below.
4. Replace the back cover of the V810 and make sure it’s aligned with the
bottom of the device.
Note: the NiMH Battery may be sold separately.

To turn on your V810 press and hold the Power button.
To turn off your V810, press and hold the Power button until you see the screen turn of.
Turning your V810 On/Off
To increase signal strength, you can install an optional antenna.
1. Align the antenna with the antenna port and screw securely into place (in a clockwise direction).
2. Restart the V810 after the antenna is installed.
Note: Antenna may be sold separately. Using optional accessories (antenna and battery pack) by ATEL are recommended,
available at ATEL website, https://www.atel-usa.com/.

The V810 provides 1 Ethernet port (RJ45). For internet access, plug
an ethernet cable to the Ethernet port of your V810 and connect it to
the Ethernet port of your computer.
Note: the computer and ethernet cable are not included.
Connect your Computer to the V810 Using the Ethernet Port
Your V810 Hotspot supports up to 15 Wi-Fi connected devices. To connect to the Hotspot Wi-Fi;
1. Locate your Network Name (SSID) / Password from your V810 LCD Display or device label under the battery holder.
2. Open the Wi-Fi Settings of your Wi-Fi capable devices.
3. Select the SSID of your V810 from the available network list.
4. When prompted, enter the password of your V810.
5. You are connected to the Internet.

Connect your PC and V810 device using WiFi from the device, ethernet cable or USB-C cable.
2.
Using your Web Browser, visit 192.168.0.1
3. Log in to the WebGUI. Your Username is ‘admin’ and password can be found on the LCD display or on
the device label on the bottom of the device (under the battery cover).
4.
Once you’ve logged in, you can manage the device.

2ARMS (Remote Device
Management)
1.
Using a PC with Internet access (not necessarily the internet provided by the device which is being
managed), visit https://dm.a-tracs.com
2.
You can select ‘create account’, then register for a “General” account. You will need to provide your
email, a device IMEI and SN. The device shouldn’t have been managed by anyone else in ARMS or
the APP already. If you have already got your account registered through the APP, you can use the
same credentials to log in.
3.
You can register with an “Admin” account without the device information (note that you must have an
agreement ready with ATEL first.) Admin accounts can manage all the devices ATEL preload for you.
4.
The registered account can be used to log-in to ARMS and the APP.
5.
Log into your account. You can view your device there.
6.
Power on the device (make sure it connects to Internet).
7.
Once connected to the Internet, you can see your device is shown ‘online’ in the ARMS portal.
8.
You can manage your device now. You can use the menu button to refresh the status, delete the
device, configure the device, tag (name) it, give it an address, share the device management with
another person using his/her email, and import more devices either one by one or in batch.
9.
After sharing the device to another person’s email, he/she can use the default password

log-in to manage the device. After log-in, he/she can change the password.

APP (Remote Device Management by
Phone)
1.
Using your iPhone, go to Apple Store. download ‘ATRACS Admin’ APP. Android APP can be
downloaded through the link on the ARMS Web portal https://dm.a-tracs.com
2.
You can click ‘Sign Up’, to register for a “General” account using a device IMEI and SN. This device
