1.1 HOW TO READ AND USE THE
INSTRUCTION MANUAL
1.1.1 THE IMPORTANCE OF THE MANUAL
The instruction manual is to be considered as an
integral part of the product; keep it and look after it
throughout the lifetime of the machine and hand it
on to any other users or subsequent owners.
All the instructions contained in the manual must be
followed by both operators and qualified staff in order
to correctly and safely install, start, use and service the
machine.
In the event of doubts or problems, contact the technical
service centres.
1.1.2 SAFE kEEPING OF THE MANUAL
Handle the manual with care and with clean hands, to
prevent the contents from becoming damaged.
On no account should any parts of this manual be
removed, torn out or rewritten.
Keep the manual in a places protected from humidity
and heat.
Keep this manual and all the related publications in an
accessible place known to all the operators.
All use and maintenance operations concerning
commercial machine components that are not indicated
in this manual are contained in the relative publications
attached to it.

Danger
Indicates a hazard with the risk of mortal injury.
Failure to observe warnings marked by this symbol can
lead to a situation of serious risk to the safety of the
operator and/or exposed persons.
Warning
Indicates a hazard with the risk of danger to the ma-
chine or the product being processed.
Failure to observe warnings marked by this symbol can
lead to malfunction or damage to the machine.
Information
Indicates notes and advice for practical machine use in
the different operating modes.

1.2 谁该详阅操作手册
机器操作员：经过培训后的操作员可进行大部份简
易的机器调整。
机械维修工程师： 合格的技师可以进行零组件的
更换调整，维护与修 理，但不能执行电路系统的
操作。
电气维修工程师： 合格的电气系统工程师不但可
以进行零组件的更换 调整，维护与修理，也可执
行电路系统的操作。
原厂专业的技师： 合格原厂技师不但可以处理机
械的问题，亦可处理电路系统维护，在用户的同
意下处理的综合性问 题。
暴露在危险区域的工作人员。
1.2 WHO THE MANUAL IS FOR
MACHINE OPERATOR:
Trainedoperatorwhoafteranappropriatetrainingcourse
on use of the machine will be able to carry out the most
simple machine adjustments.
MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN:
Qualified technician able to operate the machine like
the machine operator and work on the mechanical
devices for adjustment, maintenance and repair. The
mechanical maintenance technician is not qualified to
perform operations on electrical systems
MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN:
Qualified technician able to operate the machine like
the machine operator, make adjustments and work on
electrical systems for maintenance and repair.
MANUFACTURER'S SPECIALISED TECHNICIAN:
Qualified technician sent by the manufacturer or his
agent able to operate the machine like the machine
operator, to work on the mechanical devices and on
the electrical system to make adjustments, carry out
maintenance, repairs and complex operations when
agreed with the user.
EXPOSED PERSON:
Any person partially of fully in a hazardous zone.

1. 安全和事故预防
1.1 一般的安全规章
• 开始工作前，机器操作员必须完全地熟悉机
器的操作方式。每天需检查所有机器的安全
装置。
• 开始打包前，机器操作员必须确认没有人员暴
露在危险区域。
• 管理者有义务提供机器操作员安全保护设备，
遵照 89/686/CEE 的指示(及后来的修订版本)，如
通过核准的预防意外脚部保护套及工作裤。
• 机器的工作区域内不能有障碍物，砂，或液体
残留物。
• 机器运转时，禁止靠近工作区域。
• 在机器自动操作模式，不得移除固定/移动的安全
防护。
• 严格限制卸除，装置在机器上的安全防护。
• 进行机器卸除安全防护调整，没被授权的人员不
得靠近机器。
• 放置机器的空间不能有阴暗区，令人不舒服的光
线或光源闪频造成的危险。光源稳定，测量值不
得低于 200 流明。
• 在流动空气，温度+5℃到+40℃环境中操作机器。
• 仅有合格人员可以操作机器。
仅能在同一时间由一个人操作机器，严
格禁止两人以上操作机器。
1. SAFETYAND
ACCIDENT PREVENTION
1.1 GENERAL SAFETYINSTRUCTIONS
• Before starting work, the operator must be perfectly
familiar with the position and operation of all the
controls and machine features. Check all the safety
devices on the machine on a daily basis.
• Before starting the work cycle, the operator must
ensure that there are no EXPOSED PERSONS in
the HAZARDOUS ZONES.
• The employer must provide and instigate the use of
personal protective equipment conforming to the pre-
scriptions of directive 89/686/CEE (and subsequent
revisions). While using and carrying out maintenance
on the machine the use of personal protective equip-
ment (PPE) such as safety footwear and overalls,
approved for accident prevention, isobligatory.
• The floor around the machine working area must
always be left free of obstacles and with no solid or
liquid residue on the ground.
• It is prohibited to come within the working range of
the machine while it is running.
• It is prohibited to operate the machine in automatic
mode with the fixed and/or mobile safety guards
removed.
• It is strictly prohibited to disable the safety devices
installed on the machine.
• Any adjustments operations that need to be carried
out with some of the safety devices disabled must
be performed by one person only, and unauthorised
persons may not access the machine during this
time.
• The room in which the machine is housed must not
have any shadow areas, annoying bright lights or
hazardous stroboscopic effects caused by the light-
ing supplied. The lighting must be uniform and with
lighting values no less than 200 lx.
• Themachinecanoperateinfreeflowingairconditions
at ambient temperatures of +5°C to +40°C.
• Themachinemustbeusedexclusivelybyqualified
personnel.
THE MACHINE MUST ONLY BE USED
BY ONE OPERATOR AT A TIME, USE OF
THE MACHINE BY 2 OR MORE OPERA-
TORS ATTHE SAME TIME IS FORBIDDEN.

在机器维护、修 理或 调整 ， 需按 下紧急停
止按钮并拆除电池的电源供应。在机器贴上:
警告!“机器维护中”
在机器运转中不要拆除固定保护装置。做完
任何的保养维护后，要固定好保护装置。
在全自动包装行程禁止无故中断降低速度，
可使用停止钮或紧急停止按钮做短暂中止。
如因需要而拆除安全防护装置，机器必须放置在安
全的环境。
不可因为任何原因而修改机器零件适合其他装置
( 如：连结，打动，抛光处理，等等)。如要修改或
有需要原因，请与制造商接洽。
DURING ALL MAINTENANCE, REPAIR
OR AD j U STMENT OPERATIONS, IT IS
OBLIGATORY TO PRESS THE EMERGENCY
BUTTON AND TO DISCONNECT THE
POWER SUPPLYTO THE BATTERIES.
IT IS ADVISABLE TO POST A WARNING
SIGN CLOSE TO THE MACHINE WITH THE
WORDS:
WARNING! "MACHINE UNDER
MAINTENANCE".
DO NOT REMOVE THE FIXED GUARDS
WHENTHEMACHINEISRUNNING.ALWAYS
REFIT THE FIXED GUARDS AFTER ANY
MAINTENANCEOPERATION.
IT IS PROHIBITED TO ATTEMPT TO
COUNTERACT, SLOW DOWN OR STOP
THE MACHINE DURING THE AUTOMATIC
WRAPPING CYCLE. USE ONLY THE STOP
BUTTON OR THE EMERGENCY BUTTON
TO BRING IT TO A HALT.
As soon as possible after an operation that requires
disabling some of the safety devices, the machine must
be restored to a safe condition by re-enabling all the
devices.
Do not for any reason modify parts of the machine (e.g.
connections, holes, finishes, etc.) in order to adapt it
to other devices. For any modifications or necessities
contact the MANUFACTURERdirectly.

1.2 安全标志

1.2 SAFETYSIGNS
The safety signs (Fig. 1.1) described in this manual,
are located on the machine structure at suitable points
and warn of the likelihood of danger due to residual
risks.
The adhesive stickers, distinguished by yellow and
black bands, warn of areas of risk for operators and so
maximum care must be taken where these signs are
located.
The adhesive stickers applied to the machine must al-
ways be kept clean and legible.
High voltage hazard, electrical plug for battery
charging cable.
Risk of collision or being crushed
It is forbidden to transit or remain in areas with
moving parts.
It is forbidden to remove fixed safetyguards.
It is obligatory to read the instruction manual
carefully before operating the machine.
Pick-up point for lifting and handling with a fork
lift truck.
Safety plate on the battery. The symbols draw attention
to the obligations and prohibited actions relating to the
use of lead batteries.

1.2.1 其他危险的警 示
机器本身的设计与建造已经考虑了操作员的安全 ，
用安全设备，减少可能发生的危险。但是仍无法避
免表列(图1.2)的危险，是机器运转时本身会产生的。
掉落与被困住
不可爬上机器(1)，会有掉落或被困住在胶
膜架移动零组件里。
碰撞与被压伤 在机器包装工作时不要靠近
机器移动工作区域(2)会有被碰撞的危险。
在手动操作模式时在机器行走的走道与障
碍物会有被压伤。
静电感电风险
包装用的胶膜在工作中，因空气湿度，被
包装物及工作环境的地板而会产生静电。
当在触摸胶膜时，为了预防静电机器操作
员应穿着静电衣。机器不适合在有爆炸危
险的环境工作。
1.2.1 WARNINGS REGARDING RESIDUAL
RISkS
The machine has been designed and constructed in
such a way as to allow the operator to use it safely,
eliminating or cutting down to the minimum the pos-
sible residual risks by the adoption of safety devices. It
has not been possible however to eliminate some risks,
listed below (Fig. 1.2), because these are inherent in
the way the machine works.
Risk of falling and becoming trapped
Never climb onto the machine (1) as there is
the risk of falling and/or becoming trapped in
the carriage moving parts.
Risk of collision or being crushed
Do not approach the machine working area
during the work cycle as there is the risk of
colliding with it (2).
While operating the machine in manual mode,
riskof beingcrushedbetweenthemachineand
a fixed obstacle along the path.
Risk of electrostatic shock
The film (3) used for wrapping, can become
charged with static electricity during the work
cycle, depending on the air humidity, the type
of material being wrapped and the type of
flooring on which you are working. To prevent
dangerous shocks when touching the film, the
operator should weardielectric footwear oruse
antistatic film. The machine is not suitable for
working in explosive atmospheres.

1.3 安全装置
机器的设计与制造可让操作员在所有情形下
操作，采用安全防护装置，当有危险发生时
可中断机器。
制造商已减少安全装置导致对人员与动物，

1.3 SAFETY DEVICES
THE MACHINE HAS BEEN DESIGNED
AND CONSTRUCTED TO ALLOW SAFE
USE IN ALL THE CONDITIONS INTENDED
BY THE MANUFACTURER, ISOLATING
THE MOVING PARTS AND LIVE COMPO-
NENTS BY THE USE OF SAFETY GUARDS
AND SAFETY DEVICES TO STOP THE
MACHINE.
THE MANUFACTURER DECLINES ALL
RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE OR IN-
j UR Y TO PERSONS, ANIMALS OR OB-
j ECTS CAUSED BY TAMPERING WITH
THE SAFETYDEVICES.
- Emergency button (A) on the electrical panel.
- Thetopareaofthecarriage,wherethedrivetransmis-
sion gears are, is protected by a fixed guard (B).
- The safety bumper (C) is a flexible belt interlocked by
a microswitch which stops the machine immediately
in the event of impact with objects on the ground.
If the machine stops because the safety bumper
(C) has been triggered, before restarting the
work cycle remove the obstruction and then
carry out the resetting procedure described in
the start up paragraph.

- Detailed indications regarding a specific operation to
be carried out or the fault found.

The Identification plate (Fig. 2.1), fixed to the machine
chassis, shows the following information:

2.2 一般数据
自走式缠绕膜机，其设计与制造可以独立包装栈板
货物，透过多种方式使用胶膜进行包装。机器是由
以下的主要部份所构成(参见 Fig. 2.2 - Fig. 2.3)：
1 自走式主体包装单元：这台机器适用于在任何
尺寸，形状的栈板货物。控 制面板可设定包装
参数。 简易版机型可做简易调 整，而升级版机
型可做程序设定，快速设定包装方式与多功能
方式。
2 胶膜架升降手臂：
( 装有包装胶膜架(3)，适用于 FM-FE-PRS-PS 机
型)。手臂可上下垂直移动，可使胶膜架配合自
走式主体包装单元包装产品。
3 电池充电：
内建式电池充电器， 高效率的电池(5) (请看所
附技术手册)。当电池充电时，机器不能启动。
2.2 GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Self-propelled wrapping unit is a machine fitted with
wheels and is designed to move independently around
palletised products to wrap and stabilise them using
stretch film. The machine is made up of the following
main parts (see Fig. 2.2 - Fig. 2.3):
1 Self-propelled wrapping unit. A semiautomatic
machine used to wrap and stabilise product loads on
pallets of any shape, using stretch film. The control
panel is used to control the machine and to set the
wrapping parameters. The Sfera version allows
simple adjustments while the Advanced version al-
lows programs and wrapping methods to be used in
a quick and versatilemanner.
2 Oscillating arm to which a wrapping tool is fitted
(comprised of a wrapping carriage (3), models avail-
able: FM - FE - PRS - PS).
The arm makes a vertical up and down movement;
the vertical movement of the arm with the wrapping
carriage combines with the wrapper machine to wrap
the product.
3 Battery charger. The built-in battery charger controls
the recharging phases and gives an indication of
the efficiency of the batteries (5) (see the technical
manual supplied).
When the battery charger is connected to the electri-
cal power supply the machine cannot be started.

6 The Feeler wheel, connected to the side arm (7), is
placed up against the pallet on which the product to
be wrapped stands and its purpose is to guarantee a
more or less constant distance between the product
and the machine.
8 The Steering arm works on the two front wheels (9)
and is used by an operator to guide the machine in
brief movements inside the workshop. For medium
and long distance movement the machine must be
moved using a fork lift truck. During the work cycle
thesteering arm iskept constantly turned bya spring,
so that the machine turns around the product being
wrapped.
10 The control panel allows programs to be used and
wrapping parameters set in a simple and practical
manner.
11 The Drive wheel at the back is activated by the DC
motor (12) and allows the machine to move autono-
mously, signalled by the red flashing light (13).

The machine can be fitted with one of the following four
wrapping carriages: FM - FE - PRS and PS (Fig. 2.4).
FM carriage: delivers film during wrapping and adjusts
its application tension. Tension is governed by a roller
fitted with a mechanical brake which can be manually
adjusted with a knob located on the carriage.
FE carriage: delivers film during wrapping and adjusts
its application tension. Tension is governed by a roller
fitted with an electromagnetic.
PRS carriage: delivers film during wrapping and adjusts
its application tension to the load . The carriage can
pre-stretch the film by means of a mechanical control
generated by a pair of gears (fixed mechanical ratio).
Application tension is controlled by a sensor which
measures its value.
PS carriage: delivers film during wrapping and adjusts
its application tension to the load. The carriage can pre-
stretch the film at a variable ratio which is set from the
operator’s panel. Application tension is controlled by a
sensor which measures its value.

graph 2.7.

2.3 正确的使用
这款自走式缠绕膜机的设计与制造适用于任何尺寸，
形状，重量的栈板货物，可以让货物在运送过程/

工作条件限制:
为了能安全，使用的限制条件为：最小栈板包装物
见图 2.5，而包装的最大高度依赖于机器的高度。
胶膜：
依照所使用的胶膜架与评估包装物的特性，选择合
适的胶膜。 如： 新鲜有机的蔬果， 植物等等，要
使用有孔洞的胶膜， 如果包装的物品需要有透气效
果。 如包装物对光线敏感，请使用不透光的胶膜。
对某些需防静电的产品，请使用防静电胶膜。
2.3 INTENDED USE - PROPER USE -
PURPOSE
The wrapping machine, designed to be anchored to
the ground, has been designed and constructed ted for
wrapping various types of products stacked on pallets
of any shape and weight with stretch film, in order to
stabilise the package and to protect it from damp and
dust during transport and storage.
The wrapping operation is achieved by the machine
rotating clockwise around the pallet, at a more or less
constant distance guaranteed by a feeler wheel.
Working limitations
The machine is suitable for use in industrial, artisan
and commercial environments.
For safety reasons appropriate limits of use are set:
the minimum dimensions of the product that can be
wrapped are given in Fig. 2.5, while the maximum
height of the product that can be wrapped depends on
the height of the machine.
Stretch film
Use a film of specification suitable for the type of car-
riage available and for the type of packaging applica-
tion for which the machine was intended; always evalu-
ate the choice of film in relation to its safety sheet.
Use a perforated film if the wrapped products require
ventilation otherwise they will generate condensa-
tion (fresh organic products: fruit, vegetables, plants,
etc...).
Use a blackout film for the protection of light-sensitive
products.
Use an antistatic film to prevent static electricity.

2.4 不正确的使用机器
不正确的使用或没有定期维护机器，会导致机器
操作员及暴露在现场的人员受到严重伤害的危险，
影响工作效率及机器的安全性。
以下为一些不正确使用机器的不好例子：
—决不可爬上机身或用机器载运人或物品。
—决不可在包装行程开始时，机器附近有任何人员
靠近.
—决不可使没有经过训练人员，或未满 16 岁人员操
作机器。
—包装物不可是有毒性，具腐蚀性， 爆炸性或易燃
物。
—装置机器的地面倾斜度不可超过 2% 或是粗糙不
平的地面。

2.4 UNINTENDED AND UNAUTHORISED
USE - FORESEEABLE AND UN-
FORESEEABLE IMPROPERUSE
Use of the pallet wrapping machine for unauthorised
purposes, its improper use and lack of maintenance
can lead to the risk of serious danger to health and
safety of operators and exposed persons, as well as
affecting the working efficiency and safety of the ma-
chine.
The following is a list of some possible, reasonably
more foreseeable, examples of "bad usage" of the ma-
chine.
- NEVER climb onto the machine or use it to carry
persons or objects.
- NEVER start the work cycle when there is anyone in
the immediate vicinity of the machine.
- NEVERallowthemachinetobeusedbyunauthorised
persons or by minors under the age of 16.
- NEVERusethemachineforwrappingtoxic,corrosive,
explosive or flammable products.
- NEVER use the machine on ground with a slope of
more than 2% or with a rough surface.
- NEVER use the machine near to ladders, ramps or
the unprotected borders of floors .
- NEVERusethemachineinplaceswherethereisthe
risk of fire or explosion.

beds, or in unsuitable atmospheric conditions.
