Before you begin
1. Know your Wi-Fi network and password
2. Make sure that you are operating on:
• iPhone®8 or higher and iOS®8 or higher.
Any previous iPhone®or iOS®may experience
slower connections.
• Android™ 4.1x or higher.
3. Make sure you’re connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi
network (atomi Sma can’t connect to 5GHz
networks)
Compatibility
The atomi Sma AC Controller can be installed to
control all window or free-standing air conditioners
with a remote control.

Connect the Micro-USB Cable
to the Sma AC Controller and
the Sma AC Wall Plate.
Plug your atomi Sma AC
Wall Plate into any standard
grounded outlet.
*Micro-USB and SmaAC Controller must be plugged-in before Wi-Fi setup.
*Keep the Sma AC Controller close to the Sma AC Wall Plate on initial setup.

Download the atomi sma app from the
App Store or Google Play.

Enter your mobile phone
number or email address.

Add Device
Enter the verification
code and create
a password.
Log in to
the app.
Select “Add Device”
or click (+) at the top
right corner of the
devices screen.
Choose “Sma AC
Controller” from the
device list.

Hold the power buon
for five seconds until the indicator light stas
flashing rapidly, then press “Continue”.
*Make sure you are in close proximityof the router

Based on the style of your AC's remote
control, choose the correct option above
and read the corresponding pages.
Plug in your AC cable into the

Point your AC Remote at the Sma AC Controller.
Make sure that the remote and your AC are
within one meter from the Sma AC Controller.
Tip: The Sma AC Controller will blink blue
when the remote pairing is successful.

Countdown
Automatically
powers the AC
on and o based
on a timer.
Usage
Monitors the
electric
current usage
of your AC.
Fan Speed
Adjusts the fan
speed between
low, medium
or high.
Room Temperature
Displays current room temperature.
*Does not display AC temperature.
*Function will be confirmed once ADDED screen is displayed
